NYE Prep for the Lazy Girl

Don't know about you but I am still recovering from Christmas Day!! I say it every year but this year for sure, I have eaten way more than my stomach can take and have been absoutelyu spoilt rotten. So thankful for everyone around me, it makes it all so magical. Now the next occasion is of course New Years. There are some people that plan for the occasion for weeks, but little me over here is more of a last minute, get things together a few days before and well do it the lazy girl way.

The Annual Festive Nails

My nails are something that I take pride in and care for everyday. This past year I have really got into getting them done professionally, basically I am an acrylic nail addict. Even after having them on constantly my nails are still in good shape underneath, not weak and still my nails so regardless of all the horror stories you read about saying how bad they are for your nails, I still get them done. I think it comes down to finding the right person to do them, my lovely nail lady has been doing mine for a few months now and she is more of a friend than just someone who does my nails. Find someone who doesn't use an electric file (they kill) and someone who takes pride in your nails, time to do them and is passionate about them.

What Christmas Means To Me

I find it fascinating to hear how about everyone celebrates Christmas, someone I know does the whole thing on Boxing Day as opposed to Christmas Day. Some only do presents on Christmas Eve and so on, there is so many different ways to celebrate and each one means something different to someone. For me, Christmas is about spending time with family and friends, eating lots of food and of course laughing!
Today I have the lovely Cerys giving you her take on what Christmas means to her, reading it will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Party Handbag Essentials

Yesterday, I kicked off my festive celebrations. With a friends Christmas dinner yesterday, one today and another two weeks packed with celebrations I have decided to be super organised. I have got myself a bag, ready to go and all it needs is a change of things depending on weather or the time of day the said event is. Sounds absolutely ridiculous now that I've wrote it out but I just have to be ready for anything and as I am always the none drinker of the group, I am the go to everything. Just to point out, I can't pack light for anything so half of these things probably aren't necessary.

Winter Skincare On Rotation

Anyone else find that at this time of year there skin completely changes? Mine goes from being really oily all year round to dry as hell. It is so flaky and when I wear makeup there is so much texture! As soon as December hit, I made it a point to change up my skincare for the better. Still targeting the spot prone skin I have but using products that are also hydrating and make my skin feel better.

Know Cosmetics Review

Blogging is such a cool way to find out about new brands, KNOW Cosmetics is one that I have never heard of before but now want to shout about it as much as possible and tell you as much as I can! They are a brand that recognises that beauty is different for everyone and have developed products that help people to tackle makeup challenges without much fuss. They have some awesome names for products to tackle the challenges and have different things for different purposes. They are like the Bob the Builders for Makeup.

12 Days of Frizz Ease: Dream Curls Styling Spray

How excited are people that it is now December? I am officially in full blown Christmas mood and slowly but surely am getting everything ready for the big day. In the countdown to Christmas, John Frieda have launched their 12 Days of Frizz Ease campaign, over 12 days this month, different influences (including myself today number 5) will be showcasing different products from their incredible line.

frizz ease on straight hair

Back in May of this year, which seems so long ago now! I tried out the shampoo and conditioner from this line (full review) and immediately fell in love. I've been using non-stop since it was introduced to me, my hair is so much smoother, shiny and sleek compared to when I use other products. The entire Frizz Ease range is great if you are wanting to achieve salon like hair at home for a fraction of the price. There are different products to give you a full haircare routine and let me tell you, it works wonders.
john frieda frizz ease dream curls

The newest product in my routine is the Frizz Ease Dream Curls Styling Spray. I have very stubborn straight hair, products such as these and hairspray are required to help the curls stay in place and last longer. After a few weeks of trialling it, I have a variety of different ways to use it. The first way is the night before I am wanting curls, by washing my hair using the above products from the line and applying this spray when my hair is slightly damp. I then run the hairdryer through it to slightly dry and add some volume and by doing this upside down, finishing it off by doing two french braids. I am awful at doing them but I have watched a lot of videos to learn the tips. The next morning, I unravel the plaits to reveal mermaid like waves. These last me about the whole day and that night I dampen my hair over the sink (so lady like) reapply the spray and repeat the process. So quick and easy to do!
straight to curly with john frieda

The alternative, is washing my hair in the morning, applying the spray doing a rough dry with the hairdryer and then using the Instyler that I mentioned in my post on Saturday, it curls as well as straightens the hair and in so much less time than your average curlers. I love the way I can play around with the thickness and style of curl, in these pictures I have used this tool and achieved the mermaid style waves a braid would create but through using a tool. The styling spray might be aimed more at naturally curly haired people but even me over here with straight hair can still use it and force my hair to think that it is naturally curly, we all wish for something that we don't have and curly hair is mine. The styling spray controls the frizz that curls produce but without making the hair feel tacky and greasy, using it regularly has made an impact on how my curls sit and stay.

It is fair to stay that my love affair with the John Frieda Frizz Ease range continues for good reasons. If you have curly hair and need something to define them or have straight hair and need something to control them then this is for you! Be sure to keep a look out on social media for the other posts about the range and see what else might tickle your fancy!

The Office Party Look

Happy December!! What an exciting time of year and month for all things festive, expensive and of course party. It is now the time of year for christmas parties, get togethers and all other sorts of celebrations. I am having four christmas party type of events this month and then the work christmas do next month, it sounds daft to have it in January but Decemeber is so busy for everyone! This post is for those who have a event straight after finishing work or univeristy and have to dash straight into some party wear and look half decent. I have put together a very easy makeup look and hair do that means you can take it from day to night with the help of a few products and handbag heroes. I am all about being lazy and taking shortcuts so if this sounds like you... let's get going đź’—

A Smile for Christmas with Janina

No word of a lie, I love to smile. Not only does it fill the room with love, laughing burns calories and it just puts other people at ease espcially if you don't know them. This festive season I have teamed with Janina, to share my tips on how to get a whiter smile in the comfort of your own home without harming or abusing your teeth. It is so easy to fall for the ads that claim to give you white teeth but just do more harm then good.

Budget-ish Friendly Gift Guide

Buying gifts for people is something that I hate and love at the same time. The idea of seeing a reaction after reciveing something they have wanted forever is priceless but then it means finding the perfect gift. I am on a budget this christmas, with student rent to pay and everyday life to contend with it really isn't the ideal thing to be buying people expensive presents. I am all about bargain hunting and finding deals and items that are going to make people smile but not make them regift - because lets face it, we all do it!

One thing that I need to do is get myself some partywear! I need something sparkly and pretty to wear for the endless christmas dinners and parties that I have the next month or so!

Powderbox: The Beauty Deals Site

I am not one for subscription boxes and never have been, the thought of being tied into something doesn't really appeal to me. But Powderbox is different and very much appeals to me and probably to you as well. When I posted over on instagram all about the brand and how it works, there was an overwhelming response and Powderbox lifted off.

Everyday Makeup

My current makeup storage is a thin cabinet outside my room, which means that all my makeup isn't where I get ready. It has taken me some time to get used to it, but now I have a little section on top of my chest of draws that hoards the makeup that I wear everyday. It doesn't really change on a day to basis, other than the occasional switch up of lip colour and addition of eye makeup if I can be bothered. I give myself about 20 minutes in the morning to do my makeup and hair, so this is what I love to use.

MAC Snowball Collection Haul

MAC always has a special place in my heart, it was one of the first brands that I tried that was 'high end'. When I saw teasers and official releases of the new Snowball collection, I was very excited. This year they seem to have done things a little different, a lot of things come as sets and the sets come in cut little bags, then there are special releases that are sold separately. A great deal of the products are encased in a gorgeous shimmery copper outer packaging. A few weeks ago when it first came out I was in Sheffield seeing Little Mix. Myself and Nicole made a trip to Debenhams and it was there in all its glory, fully stocked and ready for us - I picked two bits that I really wanted.

Autumn Fashion with Lasula

As soon as the 1st of November hit, my wardrobe became a autumn wonderland. Out came the chunky knits, jumper dress, tights and of course boots. I love this time of year as it is perfect to wear anything and everything that is going to keep you warm and every so cosy. This post is a very exciting one, the lovely Lasula have collaborated with me to show you two gorgeous, easy and very inexpensive autumn/winter outfits that I am going to be wearing a whole lot for the next few months.

Recharging Overnight with Benenox

Sleep. One thing as a race we say we need more of but never seem to have enough. With assigment deadlines, presenations to plan and working 9-5 twice a week, I never have enough sleep. Every night I say to myself, 9.30, I will be in bed or even sleep... next thing I know its 11.30 and I am yawning away only just getting my makeup off. I've been taking a little bit of the Benenox overnight recharge for the past week and a half and am ready to share with you all!

Dealing with Hyperpigmentation/Acne Scarring

Dealing with Hyperpigmentation/Acne Scarring

A topic for discussion on here is always my skin, I have combination skin, more on the oily than dry but it goes through phases where it is super dry and then super oily - your girl can't win. The past month and a half things have changed dramatically, I have really stripped back with everything in my skincare routine. Acne scarring and hyperpigmentation isn't a bad thing at all but I want to clear it up as much as I can. I am still trying different things, the other week I spoke all about PMD. A device that is really helped with the deep tissue acne scarring that I have suffered from for years, for the other scars and my skin in general I have been loving these certain products. There are so many that I have used over the years, but these have been the biggest success in a short space of time.

Internally, I have been taking Evening Primerose Oil tablets, they have worked wonders on my skin and helped me inside to out. As they say, you are what you eat. My diet isn't particularly bad, but I do have days where all I eat is crap. These have helped to not only clear my skin, but they have helped slow down amount of breakouts that I get. I hardly get any at the moment, unless I react to a product or its the time of the month.

The team over at Skinkissed got in contact with me recently to try their Luxury Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Serum (£20). Before I said yes to trying it, I gave it a quick Google and read the reviews on Amazon, my eyes could not believe what I was reading - every single review was positive, with people saying that they loved it and it had worked miracles for them. This got me very excited to try it, I have been using it nearly every night for around 3 weeks and can't believe it. After just 3 days I noticed these incredible changes like the reviews, my skin looked amazing. At the time, I was home and very much confident to go makeup free. My skin looked brighter, which I think is because of the Vitamin C, so much clearer and softer. Every morning, I have woken up with the softest skin and its down to the ingredients in this miracle serum. I love how with consistent use, my skin has improved by a mile and looks so much better than usual. It has really helped with those newly formed scars and hyperpigmentation.

My love for The Ordinary is immense, a brand that makes skincare so easy to follow and do. They have a whole range of skincare products that are perfect to target different things, I could go on forever. Recently, I have been loving the Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane*. The last time I used a retinoid, I went in with it too quickly and my skin has a really bad flare up, so this time I was a little hesitant but rest assured this is so much more gentle on the skin. Firstly Squalane is something that my skin loves. I have the one from The Oridnary and bring it out when my skin is extremely dry as it keeps it hydrated. The addition of a retinoid to something that I already love is a heavenly pair.It doesn't irritate my skin in the slightest, keeps it nourished and helps control breakouts. I use this twice a week instead of the serum above, the next morning my skin is so glowy. Yes, someone with oily skin can have a natural glow and it looks so healthy. This is not to be used if you have Acne skin, I am not diagnosed with Acne, just have breakout prone skin, this works perfectly to help with the pigmentation issues that I have.

The products that I sandwich in between these are usually cleansers, masks and toners. I love everything from The Body Shop at the moment. Their Overnight Tea Tree Mask is perfect to help a breakout, the Rose Toner is amazing at giving my skin a boost in hydration.  For cleanser, I use nothing but the DHC Cleansing Oil followed up by Cetaphil, this duo removes all traces of makeup, and doesn't irritate my skin. In additon, the Magnitone Face Brush is a life saver, it really gets deep into the skin and washes everything away. Acnecide, is my go to spot treatment. Available online and over the counter in both Boots and Superdrug without a prescription from the Doctor. I use this when a whitehead appears, within two days it has gone and leaves me with nothing but very dry skin due to the ingredients but amazing at clearing up spots. For Moisturiser, I have been reaching for the Urban Veda, Neem Day and Night Cream. This range has been amazing at helping my oily prone skin, it helps to control it throughout the day and almost minimise it.

One product that I could not live without and having been using for over a year now is Aloe Vera gel. When I first started using it, I didn't think much of it apart from that it is cooling my very warm skin at night. A few weeks without it and I really noticed a difference. My skin wasn't 'healing and cooling' as it used to. I apply this all over my face every night without fail, it helps to calm any redness down, shrink the size of spots and overall just make my skin feel better.

I am loving that my routine is very simple, basic and effective- what more do you want!

An Autumn Night In

Has anyone else realised that the weather has gone really cold this week? Suddenly having to wear tons of layers, having the heating on and complaining about the weather has been quite the shock to the system. This weekend I am having quite the night in before another hectic few weeks at university start, what better time to do something for myself than when its cold? If you follow me on social media then you will also know that I have injured myself this week too, the other day when washing up I cut my finger on a glass and it has left me with quite the injury. It has also happened on my dominant hand, so I am restricted to doing most things - this night in, could not have come at a better time!

Happy 5 Years Class & Glitter

Today is a pretty special day in my books, 5 whole years ago, I published my first blog post! It seems like just yesterday that I started this crazy hobbie, every post since then I have loved writing and photographing. Each year, I have made small improvements to the way this blog looks and the content that I publish and create. I started this blog as a way to help me deal with stress during GCSEs and now I'm in my final year of univeristy and still going! Each year, this blog has come with me on my crazy educational journery and I hope that it keeps going through my career too.

PMD: Does It Work?

Over the past year or so, I have seen a great deal of reviews on the PMD kit. For the past month and a half, I have been putting it to the set and I think now, it is time to share my thoughts, on whether it is a hit or a miss?!
I have quite a lot of acne scarring on my face, particularly around me cheek area. This is from breakouts that have left a mark, some are treatable (more on that next week) others are so deep that it is next to impossible to use a product on them. Microdermabrasion has been something that my mum and I have been looking at doing for my skin, now that the breakouts have calmed down and my hormones have balanced out, the only real issue is scarring. That is where the PMD comes in, it seems to have worked a real treat on my skin.

New In From Bilou

Discovering new brands has to be one of my favourite things about blogging! When the team over at Bilou HQ contacted me to try some products, I got very excited. I had spotted the brand pop up on instagram a few times but didn't really know what they were about. Much to my surprise, a huge bag full of goodies from the different ranges came and my bathroom has never smelt better.
Bilou is a range that has been designed and developed by German beauty blogger Bibi's Beauty Palace. You can tell that everything, from design to the texture of products have been thought out and been paid attention to. This range is now available in Superdrug, 100% vegan and very high quality.

Fairytales & Flamingos

When you fall in love with a brand, it is pretty obvious that you love it. I talk about Girls with Attitude all the time now, they have taken over my brush collection, stormed into my eyelash draw and their palettes have a great impression on me. If you haven't ever visited their website, you must or look out for them in Primark. It is a brand that offers incredible quality products for a fraction of the price, I am yet to discover something that I dislike. They very kindly sent me their newest releases and I had to try sooo hard to not use them until I take photos. If you were to look at the state of this palette now, you would be ashamed!

Cheryl x L'Oreal Lip Kits

I am a huge fan of Cheryl, since her days in Girls Aloud, I haven't been able to get enough of her. I love everything she does and when I heard that she was bringing out some new products with L'oreal, they had to be mine. In the past, she has bought out a lipstick with them and been the face of their campagings but this is the first collaboration where she has launched more products. The ranges include, two eye paints (not for me personally) and then three lip kits. There are lip paints and pencils included in the kit and in the shades, burgundy, greige and peach. I got my hands on the two that scream autumn to me and will suit my skintone more.

Botanics Favourites

I love small brands that you find in shops, the ones that not many people know about or even ones that have made a comeback. Botanics has been in Boots for a long time now, but recently - they had a complete rebrand and have made everything new! In terms of packaging, everything is white and colour co-ordinated depending on the skin concern and then the items in the range too. As an ambassador for the brand, I have had a fair share at trying products from them and this post is a run down on my favourites from them so far. Please not that these are my honest opinions, regardless of them being samples that have sent to me.

Magnitone Blend Up First Impressions

Nothing excites me more, than products that are different and when skincare experts Magnitone launched their makeup blending brush, I couldn't wait to try it! I am very happy to say, that I am part of an amazing group of Magnitone Ambassadors, we get exclusive looks at products and discounts. I received this newest launch before it came out, but because I haven't been home it has taken me ages to get my hands on it and try it out, apologies for this post being soo late!

Winter Accessories to Snuggle Up in

As temperatures plummet, this is the best time to update your wardrobe to include this seasons must have accessories and clothing items. Each store, seems to be killing it with winter clothing in my opinion. There are chunky knits, fancy sleeves and the faux fur is everywhere! If only I had the money to spend on all this amazing clothing!
Providing the ultimate round-up of snuggly winter accessories for 2017 is premium womenswear designer Ralph Lauren. They have everything that you need to get yourself and the wardrobe ready for winter.

The Diwali Face

Today is Diwali! Happy Diwali to all those who celebrate, wishing you another year of happiness, success and all things bright! I love this time of year, not only is the food amazing and the clothes you get to wear so pretty but time spent with family is timeless. We're going to a Diwali party this weekend, I finally managed to find something to wear yesterday (talk about last minute!) and it's pink and pink, all sequins and some gorgeous rose gold jewelerry. So, I'm thinking for makeup to go with something glowy, glittery and very much me. This is a trial run that I had and I think it will all go to plan, using these products!

Falling For Fenty

The one brand that is on everyone mind that the moment is of course Fenty. Rihanna created this brand with a vision and since it has launched, it has been the talk of the town. Her aim with the entire range was to develop formula's that work for all skin types, shades to match a variety of skin tones and above all makeup that is fun to use and have. I debated between buying things on line and going to my local Harvey Nichols, but ending up doing the latter. I had to Que to get shade matched for the foundation but nothing as bad as what I've heard its like in London. I spent only 10 minutes, compared to some people who have spent hours! I am so glad I did go in and get matched, because the shade I thought I was, way to dark! After a few weeks of testing, I have gathered my thoughts and put it all together into one post. The good, the bad and the ugly.
Fenty Beauty Worth The Hype

Currently Loving

There are so many products that I am loving currently, some of which haven't had a mention on here ever! Monthly favourites fizzle in and out fashion as a blog post, so I thought of just choosing some of my favourite products at the moment and mashing them together in one post.
I find myself using the same products so often and to death, that I end up using things up before I have even had the chance to talk about them, hopefully I can keep making these types of posts!

Glossier Comes to the UK

This week is very exciting indeed, the infamous brand Glossier have officially launched in the UK. They have very well known in the beauty industry and throughout the US as a brand that takes everything so seriously yet keeps things pretty basic. A few months back, they had a pop up shop in London, where you were able to browse what was coming but not buy (pretty pointless in my opinion). I wasn't able to go as it was all pretty last minute, but I forwarded the invite to Nishi, who was ready with a shopping list in case you could buy anything. She then sent me a link, a few weeks after saying that they were going to gift those who did attend, which is very kind of her! I wasn't really expecting anything, but in the post came this glorious Glossier package!

Mark by Avon Liquid Lip Lacquers Review and Swatches

If there is one thing that no one can never have enough of, it is definetely lip products. No matter what your look or mood, a lip product makes everything better. Avon are a brand that I have loved for years, still to this day we get the book through at home to have a flick through and order things that you don't really need, but want to try because it is affordable and easy to buy. More recently, they have launched a brand called MARK, a edited beauty and fashion range that gives every woman the opportunity to make her own mark.
As part of this range are some lip lacquers, there are glossy and mattes within the range and a shade for everyone! I was very kindly a sent a selection of shades from both the matte and glossy range to try, here is a little review of them and some swatches.

Eyeshadow for the Autumn

It seems like Autumn has well and truly taken over my life, my instagram, my candles, basically everything. It was only a matter of time until my makeup gets the Autumn bug too, I posted all about my top lipsticks last week and this week is about eyeshadow. I am not someone who wears eye makeup everyday as it is far too much effort, but when I do wear it, I love going all out and having shades on that match the season and time of year.

Rimmel x Influenster Review

When I received an email a few weeks ago saying that I had been selected for the next Influenster VoxBox, I was very excited. Since the concept of getting everyday people to try out new brands has come over from the US to the UK, I have been itching to be selected and am so thankful that this time round I was. Then, I got even more excited when the box came and it was full of Rimmel goodies. Rimmel is a brand that I haven't really explored much of, apart of the Stay Matte Powder (HOLY GRAIL, DO OR DIE PRODUCT) there isn't much that I love from them. I think this is down to that they tend to cater for lighter skin tones than mine and this puts me off even looking at the stand in stores.

However, things are a little different this time round with their newest launch. They have a whole range of different shades from pale to medium to almost dark and I got very excited to receive a foundation from them that matches me.

The Subscription Box For Students

Coming back to university after having so many months off can be very hard and tiring, it takes a while to get back into the routine of having to wake up early, attending lectures and of course feeding yourself on things other than just takeaways. Thanks to the wonderful creators behind The Unibox, students just like me and you have a subscription service that is perfect for us. This is the only service that is currently targeted just at students, and their mission is to give students a monthly pick me up without breaking the bank. Each box contains treats from food to practical things that are useful for everyday. I got the chance to review their Back to Uni box and here is what is inside...

5 Wearable Autumn Lip Colours

Every year I love switching up lipsticks for the autumn/winter season. It isn't really the time to wear bright pinks, but is the perfect time to wear more brown tones nudes and of course berry colours. There are so many out there that people love and that I love, in this post I am sharing with you my top five. These include different formula's, depending on which you prefer and shades that are on trend as well as easy to wear. Nothing like wearing a bold lip and it coming off half way through the day!

Colourpop, Take All My Money!

After a really long week, the only thing that can cure my mood apart from a hot drink is online shopping. More than clothes is of course makeup. I definitely do not need anymore than I already have but Colourpop is just too hard to resist and when they have some cracking deals on, who can say no.

Autumnal Haul

Now is the best time of year to get the body and mind ready for the colder months, even though in the UK we don't have much of a 'sunny' summer, the sudden change into the colder months can be quite alarming. I've decided that this year, along with changing my wardrobe I also need to change my skincare, nails and of course health. These are just a few things that I have picked up to help me get through the next few months, everything featured in this haul is from Chemist 4 U, who have a whole range of brands on their site for you to shop from.

Being The Girl Who Goes For It

''The past is your lesson. The present is your gift and the future is your motivation.'' Who doesn't love a good quote? I think that just reading something really motivating can change your whole mood, day or even the task you have at hand. I love positive thinking and everything that comes with it, a firm believer that what you aim/strive for is what you get and in life even though you get obstacles, never give up. This academic year (new year, new goals) I am going to become the girl who just goes for it, saying yes even when I'm nervous and saying no when it doesn't feel right.

Morning Shower Treats

My morning shower routine is where I basically get as much done as possible, spending 15 to 20 minutes might seem like a long time but I cut down so much time buy getting everything done in one place, from bodycare to skincare. It is handy that over the summer, I have got into this routine as when I start univeristy, it will cut down so much time and hassle.

Day to Night Outfits

As I head back to uni this weekend, it is time to sort my wardrobe! I hate having to choose which clothes to keep at home and which to take, not because I have so many but more because I don't ever seem to have enough in one place. There is always something at home that I had wish I had with me over there and vice versa. The struggles of living in two places is very much real and a real pain too! I tend to go for outfits that I can wear both in the daytime for a lecture and then in the evening, whether its for a meal or even a late night shop. Here are three of my favourite outfits perfect to wear whenever, wherever featuring some stunning pieces from Tobi

Epibrow Ultimate Lash Serum - Does it Work?

Thick, strong and healthy eyelashes are eyeryone’s dream right? I am very lucky that I have reasonable eyebrows that are thick and natural. But when it comes to my eyelashes it is a different story completely. I have eyelashes but very they are stumpy and short. I've always read about DIY remedies on ways that you can improve them but the wimp inside of me never tries any.

About a month ago, I was sent a lash serum from Epibrow. Epibrow is a company that trains people in applying semi-permanent lashes and use the technology of micro blading. Recently they developed a product to help with eyelash hair for healthier look.

In today's post I am sharing some instagram inspiration for the Autumn season, I am obsessed with posting pretty flatlays on instagram. Yes the algorithm is pants but that doesn't stop me, I'm not the best but I'm ok. Hopefully you get some ideas too..

Keeping The Glow After Summer

Like every other blogger, I am so excited that autumn is just around the corner. There will be a lot of mention about the season on here and my social media over the next few months, I just love the season so much. This summer however, I really got into having glowy skin. From my base to the highlighter that I apply on my cheeks, I have become obsessed with being dewy. Today's post is in collaboration with TAM Beauty, the brand who has many other brands under its umbrella from Freedom to Makeup Revolution. In this post, I am showing you some inexpensive and good quality products that are perfect for the autumn and still capture some summer glow.

The Weekend Chore Made Easy

Please tell me that I am not the only one who hates washing makeup brushes? It is something that I vow to do every week to try and keep them as clean as possible but boy do I hate it! The result afterwards is of course worth it, but when you have so many to do it is very time consuming and tiring. The past month or so I have been using a fancy tool to clean mine and this has made the world on the difference when it comes to cleaning. My hands don't get full of wrinkles, nor do I get tired, a bit of music blasting and brush cleaning is fun!

Healthy Skin in a Bottle

More recently than ever I have become obsessed with foundation, not wearing it but more trying out new ones and seeing what fits with my skin type. At the moment Clinque are winning it for me in high end, then for drugstore it has to be this beauty from Max Factor. Kiran recently tweeted about wanting to try the Covergirl Healthy Elixir, that I swear every USA beauty influncer loves. I also join her in that line of 'waiting for Covergirl to launch in the UK' but for now this will do. I did a bit of digging and found out that Max Factor is actually Covergirl's sister brand, so everything they have in the states, the UK has something similar. The healthy elixir foundation is very similar, if not the same to the healthy skin harmony foundation. I can't quite compare them both, even though I would love to but I can give you a first impressions and testing of Max Factor's foundation. It has also been a hot minute, since I've done a full review.
