If there’s one beauty product I never leave the house without, it’s a good lip oil. I recently got my hands on the Unreal Lips Healthy Glow Nectar Oil (£21) after hearing so much hype about it online – and of course, I had to put it to the test myself!

Let’s start with the packaging – super sleek, handbag-friendly and feels luxe for the price point. The applicator glides on smoothly and picks up just the right amount of product. From the first swipe, I could feel how nourishing and hydrating the formula was. It gives your lips that healthy, juicy glow without any stickiness, which is a big win in my books.

The texture is lovely – lightweight but rich enough to feel like it's doing something. It applies beautifully, melting into the lips like a balm and giving a natural sheen. If you’re someone who loves the feel of a gloss without the heavy finish, this is definitely worth checking out.

Now, onto the colour. There’s a hint of pink in all the shades I tried, but I wouldn't say they’re overly tinted. Personally, I prefer layering them over a lip liner or a lipstick to give a little more depth. On their own, the tint can feel a bit too minimal for my liking.

That being said, because it feels so nice on the lips, I don’t mind reapplying throughout the day.
