Wedding Makeup COVID-19 Edition

 Over the bank holiday weekend, my family and I travelled down south for a lock down wedding. My cousin was meant to get married in India back in April, then everything happened in the world and it got cancelled. She was still determined to get married this year and when restrictions got lifted, she booked in the bank holiday for 30 guest and got married! It was such a lovely weekend, a smaller wedding was so lovely and intimate too, everyone knew everyone and it was cosy and more special. I of course had all my makeup planned...this is what I ended up going for.

 Despite everything going on in the world, isn't it mad how fast the year has gone? I've spent most of the year at home, which has always been a dream of mine but this wasn't quite how I expected it to go...as the summer holidays officially finish for me next week and I go back to work, I thought it would be the perfect time to put together some bits that I have loved over the last few months.

I love my current foundations and I am still using them on a daily basis but there was something about the YSL All Hours that has captured my heart. Its fast become my go to 'full coverage, flawless' base and for some great reasons too.

 We might be half way through August (crazy right!) but that does mean its the end of the summer yet. I've seen quite a few people online saying they can't wait till the Autumn. I love the autumnal seasons but why wish the summer way - we hardly get a hot one in the UK and I think we've been really lucky this year!

I don't think I have ever disclosed my love for Beauty Pie on the blog, its a brand that I absolutely adore.
