End of Summer Favourites

Despite everything going on in the world, isn't it mad how fast the year has gone? I've spent most of the year at home, which has always been a dream of mine but this wasn't quite how I expected it to go...as the summer holidays officially finish for me next week and I go back to work, I thought it would be the perfect time to put together some bits that I have loved over the last few months.

Superdrug Naturally Radiant Toner // I had a small version of this that I began to use back in April and couldn't help but buy the full size version. If you love Pixi Glow Tonic or glycolic in general then you need to try this! I love Pixi's tonic but it does break me out so I can't use it constantly. This one from Superdrug however, works wonders on my skin - helping to keep it smooth and texture free!

Erborian Pink Perfect Cream // This was a freebie when I went to Sephora in Greece last year and to tell you the truth, I had forgotten all about it until tidying up a while back. This has a similar texture to the ELF Poreless Putty primer but is easier to blend out and looks perfect just worn on its own. I've been wearing it on no makeup days to smooth out pores and make my skin look a lot more plump.

EX1 Blush in Natural Flush // One of my really good friends has been trying to get me onto blush for the longest time. I'm just terrified of putting it on and looking like a clown! When browsing the aisles of Superdrug, I noticed that EX1 had a small stand. They are a brand made for skin tones like mine, so I picked up one of their blushes and I have to say - I may become a convert. I've sort of put the bronzer down and used this more, applying only the smallest amount and it makes me look so fresh and awake! I sense an addiction coming along...

Aloe Vera // A random favourite but this has been my saviour in the heat. It cools my skin instantly and helps with the pesky bug bites that I wake up to every morning. I have also been loving it for my hands too, they've been so dry lately!

Neutrogena Water Boost // Skincare has been something that I have spent a lot of money on recently but this was probably the cheapest purchase and the one that I have loved whole heartedly. This is the lightest, softest, cloud like moisturiser I have ever used. It feels lightweight on the skin but hydrates and nourishes it so much that I just can't get enough of it. Its one that is loved amongst many on instagram and one that I too have fallen completely in love with.

Tranexamic Acid // Inkeylist is a brand that I really want to explore more, they have some super affordable and high quality products. This is the one that I managed to get my hands on as its always out of stock along with the night treatment which is next on my list to try. This is an acid but it more of a serum consistency that is meant to be used as the very last step in your night time routine. I have been using this religiously and the difference it has made to my hyper-pigmentation is insane! Its taken a few months to see a difference but boy is it noticeable.

Superdrug Labs body sprays // If you haven't yet tried these you MUST! They are always on offer for 2 for £6 and the range is delightful. I read an article that compared these to more higher end perfumes such as Alien and Flower-bomb and that urged me to try them. The scent of these don't last that long but they are great for keeping in your bag with you when on the go and the smell that comes from them instantly is worth it

...and just like that summer is officially over for me. I have to say, I am excited for all things Autumn!
