June Favourites Collab with NishiV

It sounds cliche but I honestly can't believe that June is over. Along with October it is one of my favourite months in the year, not only is it my birthday month but it's the start of summer (its currently raining) and the time to start afresh and get ready for what is to come for the next half of the year. To celebrate my love of the month, I thought of doing a monthly favourites post, these don't appear on here very often because I use the same things all the time. However, this month I have been loving new products and have slowly become obessed with them.
For this monthly favourites post, I have collaborated with the wonderful Nishi from NishiV her birthday was also in June, we were basically destined to become friends. You can read Nishi's post over on her blog and leave her some love too!

Getting A Good Night's Sleep

I'm almost certain that we would all agree that sleep is the best part of the day, yet we find ourselves to be constantly lacking in sleep/never get enough. Whether it be scrolling on your phone for 5 minutes and it turning into 2 hours, watching TV till late or even working non-stop. Sleep deprivation is a thing and finding time to switch off before bed can be hard but there is a way to get the perfect night's sleep.

Summer Staples from The Body Shop

Summer, summer, summer! SUMMER! After what seems like forever, it is officially summer time and for me it starts this week. I finished placement last week, two months of planning, stress and long days all paid off because I passed with flying colours and could not be more proud of myself. In that time, I have not been online very much, very sorry but I had no time but I am back and kicking it off with some gorgeous pieces from The Body Shop. The Virgin Mojito and Pinita Colada range both scream summer and make you smell amazing.

3 To Try From DHC

DHC is one of those brands, that keep popping up. From instagram feeds to blogs, they are a Japanese skinare brand that make unique products. Mixing Japan with Spain, to create products that are unique and expertly created for everyone. Their products are made with olive oil, yes you read that right. A very simple yet effective ingredient that promises a lot to the skin and these past few weeks, I've been putting some of these products to the test.

The Birthday Face

This was a very impromtu post, I didn't think that my birthday would include any going out plans due to being in work all day but in the evening my flat mate and I, ended up going out for some food. So, I took that as an opportunity to doll myself up and look presentable. Its been a while since I've worn a full face of makeup with lashes and everything - it was very exciting! Thank you to everyone who wished me on tuesday, I was so overwhelmed and overjoyed.

Turning 20

Today, the 13th June, I turn 20! So long teenage years and hello 'adult life'. I'm the last in all of my friends to turn this grand old age, feels like a long time coming. I am actually spending my birthday in school, as I am currently on placement. So teaching, like I will be doing (hopefully) for the rest of my life. I've never had a rest on my birthday, for as long as I can remember, its either been during exam season or I've been working/at school. Its not a bad thing, as I never quite know what to do with myself apart from shop and eat. Sounds ideal!

In celebration of turning 20, here are 20 things you may not know about me/things I have learnt over the years. Claire also tagged me to do the Blue Sky Tag and it has taken me so long to do it, so here are my answers, they are intwetwined within.
