Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Lip Blur Review

I've officially broken up for the summer and have no excuse to not be blogging and posting! To kick things off, I am talking all about my new favourite lipsticks. The Flawless Lip Blur's from Charlotte Tilbury are my current obsession. I never thought I would go back to liquid lipsticks but this may have just turned me.
These are a matte liquid lipstick, which has some sort of amazing powder blur technology in them to smooth and mattify the lips. Despite being matte, they have something in them to keep them hydrating on the lips and are formulated to last all day.

There are a total of 8 shades in the range and the two I have aren't enough! I need more. These are comfortable, lightweight, long lasting and so beautiful on the lips. I love wearing these for work as I can put them on at 7am and know that they will still be on at 6pm. It fades slightly from the sides but nearly every lip product does that to me.

The applicator is the shape of a diamond and makes application really easy. I love pairing both of these shades with the Pillow Talk lip liner and sometimes love adding a gloss to give me a slightly different look altogether.

If you can remember the L'Oreal liquid lipsticks that came out a few years ago or you love the NYX ones, these are very similar. They are a whipped formula which look and feel lovely on the lips. I am utterly obsessed with them. Great if you love lipsticks and need something new to try!

Pillow Talk Medium is a a cool, dark nude. I love the medium range of pillow talk (lipstick and liner are amazing) and this is just the perfect everyday nude.

For something a little different and more pink, Rose Blur is perfect. Its warm toned and gives me such a pretty summer look.

Have you tried either of these? They are honestly beautiful!!

NARS Soft Matte Concealer Review

If you are in the mood to buy some new makeup, I highly recommend buying a the NARS Soft Matte Concealer. It is the most versatile concealer I have ever come across and lasts for ages. The pot that it empty, I purchased in December 2021 and it has only just finished! I made sure that I used every last ounce of the concealer before replacing it.

For me, NARS is a brand that has iconic products/staples. Foundations that everyone loves, a blush shade that everyone owns in some form ... if you love the brand or want to try the brand, make sure the pot concealer if first on your list to buy.

Topicals: Worth the Hype?

It has been a while ... apologies for the very long absence! I'm hoping to be back and active again, but I'm not promising anything! I've missed blogging and there is so much that I need to talk about. Starting things off with a brand focus 'Topicals'. A brand that I have always heard and see but never went for. I bought their 'Faded' serum about 6 months ago and then they kindly sent their moisturiser a few weeks back and I have some thoughts on them both ,,,

Currently Loving #13

Oh wow, hello. This feels very strange, I haven't published or posted anything on here since March! Similarly on instagram, its been well over a month. Truth be told, I've been crazy busy at work as my class had SATs, which we haven't had for the last two years due to COVID and now that I've sort of switched off for the summer, its time to start a fresh and get back into what I love to do the most. I thought I'd come back with a favourites post and talk all about what I'm loving at the moment.

Rare Beauty Setting Spray // I was very lucky to try out some minis from RB back in January before they launched in the UK, due to a lovely trip to Venice. I've fallen in love with the brand and this setting spray is making me want to try even more. It is the finest mist I have ever used, and works so well as a primer, to give my skin a glow and some hydration.

Catrice True Skin Concealer // Oh how I wish Catrice was easier to get hold of in England! I love the bits I've tried from them thanks to JustMyLook, who stock a few bits but I want to try more. This hydrating concealer is perfect for under the eyes and covering blemishes. It works really well with my skin and I have a few different shades to spot conceal with.

*Obagi Vitamin C 10%* // I've always loved the idea of including Vit C in my routine but have never settled on using one for a long period of time due to a number of issues - some a too sticky, some don't well under other skincare/makeup and pill. This was until I discovered this one from Obagi, which of course will be wonderful with its price tag of £79! I use a couple of drops in my daily routine and have found that consistency is definitely the key. If you have any recommendations for cheaper alternatives that feel good on the skin and work, please let me know!

Samsung Galaxy Watch // I didn't see or understand the hype around smart watches, until I went to Barcelona a few months back and my friend had one. She loves hers, it came in so useful whilst we were away that she swayed me to try one. I can't imagine my life without one! These little gadgets are so handy for someone like me - the person that always has their phone on silent! I can track my fitness, answer calls and messages, pay for things, so much from a tiny little thing - its life changing!

*Revive Collagen* // My summer has so far consisted of lots of reading, and some of that reading has been about the body, it is so true when they say 'you are what you eat'. My diet and lifestyle reflects on my skin.
I've incorporated collagen into my morning routine thanks to Revive and I can't believe the difference in my over all skin and body. I tried it mixed with water at first, but taking it straight from the sachet is so much easier. I take the shot every morning and over time have noticed such a difference.
I've been taking it for almost a month now and the dry skin on my arms and legs that no amount of cream has been able to cure, seems to have gone. Revive contains Hyaluronic Acid and Aloe Vera Juice, which has clearly worked wonders with my skin and I can't wait to see what other difference it makes to my body. My only issue is the packaging - I wish it was smaller and easier to store!

Books, Movies and Everything in-between

I've really got into reading in the last week or so and its been so refreshing to switch off from everything outside and online and just read. I've loved lots that I've read recently but the one that has had the most impact on me is Verity by Colleen Hoover. I don't want to spoil too much as it might be on your list to read soon, if its not then read it and let me know what you think! I'm still confused, amazed and baffled by what I've read but WOW.

A complete opposite was The Un-Honeymooners, which was such a light hearted, quick read but so lovely! If you like romance, with an enemies to lovers theme then this is for you. Its wonderful.

My favourite movie, which I only watched at the weekend, but am obsessed with is Purple Hearts on Netflix. My bestie and I had a movie date and watched it together - it is truly wonderful. Such a great cast, with fabulous chemistry and a story line that I didn't quite expect but it exceeded all expectations. Well worth a watch. In the cinema, I watched Where the Crawdads Sing, another brilliant watch!

Sorry for all the rambles, I need to get back into things! Hope you enjoyed and I can't wait to get back into a groove ✨🤞

Spring Makeup Haul

I went all of January and February without buying anything new in terms of beauty. As soon as March came around - I went slightly mad. The two months of not buying anything, showed me what kind of makeup I enjoyed - want to try more of and that I really didn't like. I decided to buy items that I can try and are new to me but have been out for a while.
