Styling Medium Length Hair

My hair is at its best at the moment, healthy, mid length and very easy to manage. I have straight hair, to the point where I can dry it upside down and it will still be straight. It is also very thick, so I have to go to the hairdressers every so often to get it thinned out, I usually have some layers put it in to help balance the weight out but find myself then hating layers when I want to do something with my hair - there is no winning. I am doing my hardest to grow it out for my graduation later on this year, which means keeping on top of the looking after it. I have also started actually styling it in different ways recently rather than just keeping it straight and these are the products I have been loving to use.

This Or That: Everyday Makeup

Sal over at UmmBabyBeauty wrote a post a few weeks ago titled 'This or That'' and the concept behind it was genius and it inspired me to do my own take on the post. These are my current go to favourite makeup products that I adore with all my life and always find myself choosing between either one of the other, but there are a few differences that makes one better than the other - hence the title This or That! You might want to grab a cuppa or some snacks, this is one long post...

Primark Beauty: The Standouts

There is no shopping trip without a Primark visit! I either plan my entire trip around going to Primark or sometimes only ever end up spending all my money there. It is my go to place for shoes, accessories, basics and now beauty. Over the last year or so they have taken the beauty game very seriously and launched some incredible products. The only problem with Primark is that if you don't buy something when you see it, it isn't going to be there when you go back. So, if you spot any of these things on your next outing - grab and go girlfriend, because they won't be there for very long.

The New Brand To Look Out For

A little while before Christmas I saw a video on Tati's channel all about gift sets that she had found in Target that we were affordable and actually quite good. This brand is Profusion, who established themselves a while back in the US and have now made their way across the pond to us here in the UK and hopefully other places around the world soon. They have a wide selection of different palettes that are designed to give you options, high quality and fun. When they got in touch with me to try some bits out, I couldn't help but jump to the chance and now I just have to share it all with you.

Skincare Diaries: CosRx

2017 was definitely a year of skincare for me, I wrote more posts about that I think than I did about anything else. Each month, I found myself falling in love with new and different products. Sometimes products that didn't work so well and sometimes products that blew me away. Instead of keeping all the products till the end of their use and then talking about them, I'm going to start just mentioning them when I can and come back to them in a almost review type post in a few months. Hope this all makes sense, it also gives me a way to track the skincare that has helped and hurt my skin. These two products are from CosRx and slowly but surely I have been adding them into my routine and they are now very much staple products. I have been reading a lot about Korean skincare at the moment and only after doing my research did I buy these two.

It's Not About What You Look Like

I don't tend to write or speak out loud about many issues, but it is something that I want to start doing and what better time than the new year. I have wrote, deleted and rewrote this introduction so many times but I think the best way is to just go for it.
My whole life I have always been the minority, different religion, race and colour. Has it ever bothered me? No. Does it stop me from me being me? No. But it is so hurtful when you see people using things like this against you or other people of a different race. I love watching Deepica Mutyala on YouTube, she is such a great and positive women who spreads love and joy (and who is killing it at the moment!!!) This post is inspired by her xx
