Three to Try from DECIEM

More recently than ever skincare has become my obsession, everything I see, read about and try is skincare related. It has taken me years to realise that the key to good makeup is a great skin underneath, as I aim to improve my skin tone and appearance this year these three products from DECIEM have been my favourites. 

Back in December I posted a review all about the amazing serums from The Ordinary, which are running very low as they are well loved. The use of serums in my skincare routine has changed my skin for the better, now there are three more products that have helped my skin transform over the past few weeks. 

L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation First Impressions

Its a bit L'Oreal crazy on the blog at the moment but they are killing it base wise and I just have to try and buy everything! Through Ebay I managed to get my hands on the US version of the Infallible Pro-Matte foundation (full post) as well as the Pro-Glow (coming soon), but next on my list was their newest release the Infallible Total Cover. As per usual, the US had it first and then I saw on Kaushal's youtube that it was coming over here really soon, since then my eyes have been looking out for it. Last friday, on a random trip into Superdrug, I spotted them just as they were being put out! 

Fashion Blogging Can Be Scary

Last year, I set myself the challenge of improving my blog photography. This not only included photos of products that you see but also the fashion that you see. Buying, styling and wearing clothes is a hobby of mine and always has been. Therefore, fashion blogging alongside beauty always made sense to do. As part of my goal to improve, it meant finding a 'professional photography' to take photos for me, someone that does editoral work not just in a studio.

I find myself falling in and out of love with makeup, sometimes I'll wear the tiniest amount of just concealer and other times it will be a full glam face. One of my resolutions for this year, makeup wise was to wear more of what I own and experiment more. Part of the experimenting is wearing more makeup on a daily basis, not layers of foundation but putting a lot more effort into what I apply and use. But in the last few months, I have been getting to grips with the skincare jargon and getting on the bandwagon.
