Boutique Of Molly Dahlia Dress

Today I am talking all about the gorgeous Boutique Of Molly Dahlia Dress*. When autumn hits I am not really a dress and bare legs kind of girl but there is something about this dress that I love and will be wearing it as much as I can this Auutmn/Winter and in the summer as well.
The first thing that I love about it is the skater dress style, I don't own any skater dresses or skirts because my worry is of it looking unflattering however the shape of this one is amazing and I have fallen in love. It comes to just above my knees and the floaty-ness of the dress makes it comfortable to wear and move around in.
The colour is why I love it for the autumn, its navy blue and a very deep one as well. It goes nicely against my skin tone and can be worn numerous ways, such as with tights for a more informal look and with or with some nice heels. The main feature of the dress is the floral pattern that is running throughout, I tried my best to photograph the print as clear as can be because it is stunning. A mix of big and small flowers that are spread across the dress but not over powering it, and the pattern works all the way down to the bottom where there is a pink mesh insert.
The dress has cute little cami straps which calls for me to wear a shawl over it during the night but perfect for those summer days. The neckline in my opinion is 'sweetheart' but correct me if I am wrong. I usually go for scoop or turtle (my new obsession) but this one is just as flattering, it is slightly too big under my arms but nothing that a little bit of sewing can't fix!

I think this is either going to be my Diwali dress for one of the events or for Christmas!

You can buy your very own Dahlia Dress on their site!
p.s if you order before 3pm your parcel is sent out the same day (Mon-Fri)

This dress was kindly sent to me, however all opinions expressed are my own.

Brantano Autumn/Winter Wishlist

'Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world' what a great saying. I truly believe that the shoes you wear can make you feel like woman in power and that you are going to have a great day ahead just by putting on a pair of comfy shoes. Sandals no longer have a home in my heart but fluffly slippers and winter boots do! Brantano have recently bought out their Autumn/Winter range and I am just slightly in love. Here are my top 6 picks from the range...

Brantano Autumn/Winter Wishlist

Shoes in the winter have two be two things 1. Practice and 2.Stylish, that's where Wellies come in. They are great for a day out in the cold weather and if they look as nice as these tweedy ones why wouldn't you want to wear them.
One thing that I love to do in the Autumn but don't do enough of is go for a stroll. The crisp autumn leaves underneath your feet and the fresh air that surrounds you. My university is all on campus which means that I really don't get out much, but maybe a pair of walking boots would encourage me to get out there and walk. Its good exercise and a chance for me to listen to all the music on my ipod that hasn't been listened to. I love that the detailing on these boots is purple my favourite colour.
England isn't really known for the typical snowy winter weather but when it does come we do enjoy it to the fullest! I never seem to know what shoes to wear when it does snow, do i wear boots and risk slipping over? Or do I wear wellies and get them wet through? Brantano have a range of snow boots which are to die for. They look so warm and cosy that I want to buy some now and wear them just so my feet are kept warm. The Laverock ones don't look too bulky either so they won't be weighing you down.
4.  Caravelle Leather Antique Knee High Boots - Was £90.00 Now £49.00
Now we get into the wishlist that consists of your more everyday footwear. First up is a gorgeous tan coloured pair of knee high boots. I seem to only ever buy black boots that go over the knee but these tan coloured ones look stunning and the heel is a perfect size for me. They seem to be slightly ashy as well which is unusual but paired with blue jeans and a white shirt would look amazing.
Then we have my newest obsession of footwear - ankle boots. These are great if you love boots but don't like the whole knee high thing as they sit nicely on the bottom half of your leg and come in various different styles. My personal favourites are ones with a little heel on as the flat ones make me feet look huge. The black ones are your typical style with the quilted design at the back it is perfect for informal and formal days. But then there are the red ones which are just unbelievable. The snake like pattern gives them this edge and matches the majority of lipsticks and nail polishes I currently use - who doesn't love coordinating?

The whole Brantano A/W range is amazing and I could spend hours browsing the site to see all the different shoes if you fancy it then you can view the entire Autumn/Winter Range over on their site!

SEVENTEEN Falsifeye HD Mascara Review

Mascaras are so much fun to buy and use. They come in all different sizes and types it amazes me that each little thing can do something different. My latest mascara obsession is the Falsifeye HD Mascara from Seventeen, it is become holy grail status.

The reason why I love it so much is because of the brush, it has two sides to it. one side has shorter bristles to hold the mascara bulk and then the longer bristles allow the brush to comb through your lashes. As it individual combs through each lash, my lashes become more defined, appear longer and super voluminous. You can also see in the images above that the tip of the wand is like a cone, and this great for those bottom lashes - mine are horrible. One coat gives you extra volume but putting two coats on gives it even more volume, that much that I have to push my glasses forward to see.

I can't believe that a mascara that retails at £6.99 works as well as this. My lashes look amazing and wide awake great when I have a 9am lecture.

Have you tired this amazing mascara?

What I've Been Loving - Milani Baked Blush

Milani Baked Blush
 Milani Baked Blush
Milani Baked Blush

How beautiful is this Milani Baked Blush? It has become my new obsession and taken the whole highlighting thing to a new level.

What Do Milani Say?

A luxurious powder blush that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous. Silky smooth application leaves your face looking healthy and radiant all day.

The Milani blush comes in a gold packaging with the blush showing on the outside, you can also flip the blush upwards and underneath is a mirror along with a small brush that isn't all that as usual.
The texture of this blush is very powdery yet soft, sweeping/tapping the blush ever so lightly can lead to you not needing all of that on your face and this can lead to product wastage. It is very well pigmented and thus you only needing a small brush and the lightest application of product. It also avoids your face looking overpowered and like a barbie doll with lots of pink blusher on. Due to it been pigmented and really good quality the staying power of it is around a whole work shift 9-5.

Rose D'Oro is the shade that I have in the picture above and is peach/coral shade with very fine gold glitter particles running through which gives it the metallic finish. It is also a very versatile colour as are the other 8 shades. You can use them purely for adding a highlight to your cheekbones and high points or even for blush and something that I saw over in a video a while ago for bronzer.

An amazing blush that is worth all the hype and love from the USA!

Maybelline Creamy Mattes Review & Swatches

More lipsticks I hear you say? Yes more lipsticks! I have been eyeing up the (not so new) Maybelline Creamy Mattes for a while now and I needed something to really push me to get them and two things finally did. First was Khila's review of the lipsticks and second was the love that Kaushal has for them and in this picture one of the colours looks amazing. Here in the UK there is currently 6 shades available compared to the US who have over 2 shades to choose from, one of which is 'All Fired Up' which I love the look of.
What Maybelline SaysNow, lips slip into our creamiest matte. Sensuous matte cream formula meets bold pigment colour for our smoothest, most seductive mattes. In 6 make-a-statement shades.
Worried that matte lipstick with make your lips look and feel dry? New Color Sensational Creamy Mattes give you matte lips that look smooth, moisturised and more plump, and feel comfortable all day.

What Parie Says:  Matte lipsticks that are true matte, highly pigmented and long lasting are very hard to find but Maybelline seems to have out done themselves with these. They are so sift and creamy that when you apply them you can be as quick as you want without it getting everywhere because it doesn't drag. At first you can feel them but then they set and look matte. The creaminess of the lipsticks is amazing when applying them but it does also mean that bleeding will occur, for the Nude shade I used a lip-liner and saw a huge difference but I don't own a berry liner, but presume it would be the same. I only own two shades but can't pick between them both as they are truly stunning. the nude is great for the day and then at night you can vamp it up with Divine Wine and look glamorous pairing it with a smoky eye.

Final Verdict - AMAZING. After wearing them everyday I have completely fallen in love and will be going out to buy the other shades.

Primark Autumn Trench Coat

Primark Autumn Trench Coat

I hate winter coat shopping. Going round every single shop and having to try on different colours, styles and sizes until I can find one that fits me like a glove. This year I was determined to find a coat that isn't like my previous ones, I don't want one of those baggy, parka coats I want something different.

What this different style was I had no clue at first, then on a recent trip to Primark I managed to pick up this beauty of a trench coat. Never in my life have I owned one but see Victoria from IntheFrow wearing all the time, and she kind of persuaded me to buy one/try one. The colour is a subtle pink but yet neutral. The buttons  and the strap around the waist is black plus as bonus has two pockets on the side.

I AM IN LOVE. It goes with everything in my wardrobe everything from informal jeans to my posh going out dresses. I can't remember the price off the top of my head but it was around £15 which I think is completely reasonable.

Do you love it or hate it?
