I never really used to be a shoes person, the cheapest pair of ballet pumps from Primark used to do me. Until last year, I suddenly became more aware of how a good pair of shoes can make or break an outfit, similar to how accessories change the look of something. My love for them grew and I found myself spending more money on a good pair of them and finding an interest in styling them different ways. They are also the one item that I love to transition throughout the year, for example boots in the winter, pumps in the spring and then sandals in the summer. This summer, I have found the pair of shoes that will literally go with anything and everything all year round.
Rimmel Stay Satin Lipsticks
Tuesday, August 7
When liquid lipsticks first became a thing, they were my favourite type of lipsticks to wear. The lasted all day, looked amazing and did not budge. Then I fell back in love with lipsticks, and rarely touch let alone wear a liquid lip. This was until Influenster, very kindly send me eight of their new stay satin lipsticks.
Dermalogica Clear Start
Thursday, August 2
I seem to be finding that my love for skincare is taking over makeup, it excites me so much more when I buy a new cleanser or use a face oil at night. Sounds really sad when I say it back to myself, but I am sure that fellow beauty lovers (may) agree with me. The feeling of using something new for the first time and seeing it make a difference or go horribly wrong on the skin is the best thing ever. My skin is combination to oily and breakout prone, the tiniest amount of a product my skin doesn't like will make it explode. The Dermalogica Clear Start range is a targeted system to help those of us who suffer from breakouts. It is mainly for young teens who are just starting out with skincare, as there is a capsule collection of nine products but can be used by anyone.

Wedding Guest Makeup Look
Tuesday, July 31
Wedding season is my favourite time of year, the pretty outfits, gorgeous venues and of course the food! I have one event this coming weekend and then one at the end of next month, it is such an exciting time! This is going to be my go to look for sure, its very simple but full glam that will last me throughout the day without budging. The look is very similar to what I usually wear on a special occasion but a wedding makes everything that little bit more special.

Blog Photography: Phone vs Camera
Friday, July 27
Photography in my opinion is the most important part about blogging, its the thing that makes people want to like your photo on instagram, visit that blogpost you shared on twitter or allow a brand to work with you. Over the years, I have found different ways of taking my photos to suit me - my favourite way being a flatlay. I am by no means the best at doing them, some people slay the flatlay but I think I do a pretty good job, most of the time.
