Tarte Shape Tape £4 Dupe

The much hyped Tarte Shape Tape Concealer is one of my favourite discoveries of last year. I bought it around March time on QVC and have used it nearly everyday when I wear makeup and the tube is still going. Would you say its a favourite of mine? Yes 100%. One thing that I don't like about it is the price. I have never spent this much on concealer in my life and don't really fancy spending the same amount again when there are other cocnealers out there that I love. 

Makeup Revolution (another cult favourite brand) have released so many products recently and their new concealer caught my eye straight away. The first Superdrug that I visited were completely sold out of it but another had lots in so I just had to get one. Upon purchasing, swatching and looking at it, it reminded me of the Shape Tape almost immediately. So, of course I had to put them to test. 

Not So Secret Santa Round 2.0 With Nishi

Through blogging I have met some amazing people, other bloggers that I consider close friends, regardless of me not meeting them in real life - it feels like I've known them years! Nishi from NishiV is one of those people. We've never actually met face to face (although I am determined for this to happen in 2018) but it feels like we have and have known each other for a long time. This year, we bought back our 'Not So Secret Santa', where we set a budget and do a swap of presents. Buying for Nishi is SO MUCH FUN. I just know that anything I like/may suit my skin tone ect will be perfect for her, sometimes making me wanting to buy two of the same things... When her parcel arrived for me, I was super excited to get it all opened and see what's inside. Let's just say she has completely spoilt me and I am in love with everything!!! 

Getting Organised for 2018

        Every time the new year comes around, I set myself the task of being more organised. I have my diary in full use, this year I am using a daily dairy and my goodness it is helping a great deal. I write everything that is due and that I need to book in there and having it all in one place helps a great deal. I always find that at the start of the year I am so much more organised than I am towards the end of year, it all just kind of goes to pot! 2017 went by as quick as flash, it sounds cliche as hell but time is going so quickly and I have no idea how to keep up! It was a busy year and this year is going to be getting even busier, just knowing that I have so many things lined up is making me both anxious and excited at the same time. After recovering from all the food over Christmas and lack of sleep, I am excited to get back on with the blogging. This is my very first post of 2018 and what a good one it is. These are my top 17 (for the year 2017) beauty favourites, I decided to only pick a number of things otherwise the post would be almost an essay and no one wants to read that much. NYE Prep for the Lazy Girl

Don't know about you but I am still recovering from Christmas Day!! I say it every year but this year for sure, I have eaten way more than my stomach can take and have been absoutelyu spoilt rotten. So thankful for everyone around me, it makes it all so magical. Now the next occasion is of course New Years. There are some people that plan for the occasion for weeks, but little me over here is more of a last minute, get things together a few days before and well do it the lazy girl way. 

                                                                                         

The Annual Festive Nails

My nails are something that I take pride in and care for everyday. This past year I have really got into getting them done professionally, basically I am an acrylic nail addict. Even after having them on constantly my nails are still in good shape underneath, not weak and still my nails so regardless of all the horror stories you read about saying how bad they are for your nails, I still get them done. I think it comes down to finding the right person to do them, my lovely nail lady has been doing mine for a few months now and she is more of a friend than just someone who does my nails. Find someone who doesn't use an electric file (they kill) and someone who takes pride in your nails, time to do them and is passionate about them.
