Simple jewellery is fast becoming my favourite thing to wear and its the perfect thing to quickly put on in the morning and run out the door. Recently, I've been reaching for three things and nothing else because they look great mixed together and on their own. 

Little accessories and bits you add to any outfit ,really makes a difference to your whole look. It adds something different and new. 

Holiday Countdown Wishlist

Its officially the 'less than two weeks' countdown till my holiday, for one glorious week I am off to the sunny Crete - excitement levels are high and its right before I start university again, perfect timing!

However, my wardrobe is not prepared for the hot weather and cool nights that I will be experiencing. Here's a wishlist of some gorgeous pieces that I am in desperate need of... 

LOreal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation Review

Hello fellow foundation addicts, welcome! No idea what has happened to me recently but I keep buying everything base products. My skin is all over the place, dry then oil so I guess you would call it combination?! Who knows. When browsing the Boots near me, I found the reduced section. By far my favourite place to have a browse, picked up so many bargains and most stores have one, so be sure to find your local one! Hidden at the back I found the very talked about L'Oreal Nude  Magique Cushion Foundation. 

Since it came to the UK, everyone in the beauty world has been talking non stop about it and I was itching to buy it. The only thing putting me off was the price. It retails for £14.99 which in my opinion is a bit steep for 'drugstore'. In the US its so much cheaper, why is it so high here? In the reduced section I found this for £3.50, all because the powder puff was missing, which I wouldn't have used anyway. In my shade too - it was meant to be! 

Easy Pancake Recipe

A few weekends back randomly, me and my brother decided to make some pancakes for breakfast. Even though we had just had a fry up, oh well - it was Sunday! Or the perfect thing for the bank holiday! In our household, we don't eat eggs, eat them in things but not actually in the house? So, I have never add a scrambled, fried or boiled egg..its a long story. But we searched on the web for a recipe and combined a few we saw/picked the best one and adapted it to our taste. 

About 30 minutes later, we had a stack of pancakes and two very hungry people....

University Preparation

As this month draws to a close, the next month is back to school month! I finished with university for the year back in May and this time next month, I'll be back for my second year. Can' believe how fast time is flying, this second year comes with so much more responsibility, work and stress! 

I am so ready for it and can't wait to get stuck in, this post is a little hack post. Whether you are starting your first, second or even looking at starting in the near future - I do hope this helps you out!
