Easy Pancake Recipe

A few weekends back randomly, me and my brother decided to make some pancakes for breakfast. Even though we had just had a fry up, oh well - it was Sunday! Or the perfect thing for the bank holiday! In our household, we don't eat eggs, eat them in things but not actually in the house? So, I have never add a scrambled, fried or boiled egg..its a long story. But we searched on the web for a recipe and combined a few we saw/picked the best one and adapted it to our taste.

About 30 minutes later, we had a stack of pancakes and two very hungry people....

This recipe made 8 pancakes, but two failed miserably - so 6 final ones. To make these delicious pancakes you will need...

* 200g Plain Flour
*1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder
*1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
*Sugar to your sweetness
*2 cups of Milk
*1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
*2 Tablespoons of Water

It really is as easy as 1,2,3. The first step is to combine all your dry ingredients in a bowl, making sure it is all combined thoroughly. Then in a separate bowl you need to mix the milk, oil and water and then add to the dry mix and stir completely until all is mixed together. At this point, you may need to add more water than required, due to the batter been too thick/gloopy. Don't add more milk, as this won't help - water is your best option.

Once you get it to a thin but not too thin consistency, you need a ladle and a hot pan. Dab some oil on the pan and pour your mixture on. Keep an eye out on the pancake as they cook really quick, once bubbles start to form on the surface it needs flipping

About 15 minutes later of experimenting if this is your first time, you should have some pretty amazing, fluffy and scrumptious pancakes. I can't even get over how nice these were and we made them by accident?!

If you try this recipe out, please let me know! What is your go to pancake topping? xoxo
