As I've got older I've become one of those people that needs to use good quality bath and body products. Everything from the packaging, scent and the brand now matters to me more than before which is very odd. Brands such as Molton Brown are one of the best for a splash of luxury and always make me feel really fancy! I've been using their newest launch – the Molton Brown Suede Orris Collection for a couple of weeks now and its safe to say, its worth every penny.
The Suede Orris Bath and Shower Gel (£22)* has become a firm favourite in my household and is actually nearly finished! t!
It's a difficult cent to describe but it's familiar floral scent sits nicely on the skin. With this, I have found that the less I use the more impact it has on the body. Taking a tiny amount in my palms and bringing it to lather is much better than taking a huge amount and rubbing it all over. The tiny amount, gives off more of the gorgeous smell and leaves the skin feeling soft. The bathroom smells incredible afterwards as both my brother and I use this - it just shows that anyone can use it!
Body lotions for me are very hit and miss, my skin is so sensitive to them and I have to be really careful. I apply a small amount to my arms and legs every morning and let the product do the rest. It gives off less of a fragrance compared to the other two products but there is still a slight lingering. The lotion (£26)* takes a little while to settle and sink into the skin but its worth it, my skin feels nourished and there is no dry patches to be seen - anywhere! I love how this in conjunction with the shower gel gives me an almost natural odour and one that is nice too!
The product I'm most excited about is one that Molton Brown is the Eau De Toilette (£45)*as it is a lovely product to not only layer on top of the collection but with other scents too. Its got a very floral scent to it. With top notes of mandarin and others including rose and jasmine, the combination is heavenly. It is a fresh fragrance but very strong at the same time. I love spritzing myself in this right after applying the body lotion, this way the scent lasts a lot longer on me as my skin is wet. It really is a beautiful scent and wearing this makes me feel all sophisticated and grown up!
This whole collection has exceeded my expectations, at first I thought it would be a little strong for me but I've fallen in love with it all! Are you a fan of Molton Brown?
