Everyday Work Makeup

During the week, I typically apply my makeup at about 6.30 and then don't remove until about 7pm. Just a little over 12 hours, and over time I have found hardcore products that stay put on my face and keep me looking flawless. There are a few things that get swapped out for other products from time to time but for the most of it, this is my staple go to look. I have oily skin, so my main goal is to have a matte face that doesn't shine throughout the day.

*Pixi Rose Glow Mist
I mentioned this in my recent favourites post because the love I have for it, is insane. It not only refreshes my skin first thing in the morning but it also gives me a good base for makeup. I love the subtle glow it gives, but I pile on lots of matte products on top so the glow part doesn't really do much in this case. However, it works wonders at priming my skin.

L'Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear Foundation
Another product that I have talked about quite a bit over here and on instagram because it is INCREDIBLE. This foundation is no joke when it comes to the claims it makes, it provides me with full coverage all day long, no shine peeps through, it doesn't cake or even look horrible on the skin. It just looks perfect. I don't have a bad word to say about this. If you need a new foundation that is cheap and from the high street - I urge you to try this!

Maybelline Fit Me and Eraser Eye
Maybelline are one of my favourite brands from the 'drugstore' they cater for so many different skin types and tones. These two concealers are fabulous at doing two completely different jobs. The Fit Me is so creamy and full coverage, making it perfect to cover any blemishes that might peek through. The Eraser Eye is great at lifting the under eye area and making me look more alive. I have worked my way through countless tubes of both of these.

Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder
This unfortunately isn't available in the UK and its such a shame that it isn't because it is the best powder I have ever used. I take the tiniest amount and dust it all over my face to set everything in place. It makes my skin all blurred and pretty,  which no other powder seems to do. I love that its so easy to use and perfect for oily skin. I just worry about what I will do when it runs out :(

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer
Can we just appreciate the amount of this that I have used? Some serious panning going on!! I bloody love this bronzer. The shade is ideal for my olive, Indian skin tone and the way it warms my skin up is like no other bronzer I have in collection. I hope they start being stocked in the UK soon because this is such a cult favourite and the thought of finishing it off is causing me stress.

Once my base is all done, its time to get on to the additions.

Urban Decay All Nighter
There isn't any other product that compares to this. I must now be on my 10th bottle at least of this magical spray. No matter what makeup look I am doing a couple of sprays of this and my makeup is locked in place all day long. The L'Oreal foundation stays put without this sprayed on my skin but with it sprayed it just keeps it on for longer. It also settles all the base makeup on my skin and avoids it looking or feeling cakey.

Tarte Mascara
Mascara is the only eye makeup that I apply on a daily basis, anything else is just too much faf and time consuming. I apply a little mascara to just make my eyes look more awake than they actually are. This isn't my favourite one to use, I much prefer the Lash Paradise but in a bid to shop my stash - this needs finishing up!

BarryM Highlighter
My makeup is not complete without a dusting of highlighter. I love changing up the one I am wearing depending on my mood. If I feel like going all out then I most definitely do. However, there are some days where I want a boom but not too much. This one from BarryM is so affordable and really packs a punch. Its gold, beautiful and perfect for everyday.

Lips
This is where my everyday makeup really changes. I can never just decide on one product, sometimes end up layering up lots of them on top of each other. I keep one at work in case I forget but these two stay in the downstairs bathroom, so that I can apply right before walking out the door. These two are of course nudes (all I wear for work) and are just amazing. Huda Beauty SheEO is from her demi matte range and is great to just pop on and go. Its a lovely nudey brown shade, it tingles slightly on the lips but I love how it compliments my skin tone. Then Fenty's Uncuffed is more of a pinky nude that looks lovely with any outfit that I wear and perfect as we transition into Spring. It lasts all day and doesn't budge.
I like to keep my makeup very quick and simple, saying that - this is a lot of makeup! What's your everyday makeup look?
