LIB X Style Beauty Awards Box

I am not the biggest fan of beauty subsciption boxes, I find the products inside are very repetitive and not at all what I like/actually need. Latest in Beauty however are always a little different, they make one off special edition boxes that put the rest of the boxes you can buy in a dark hole. Their newest collaboration is with the Sunday Times in honour of he Style Beauty awards and boy let me tell you its a cracking collaboration. The box costs just £25, which is pricey for one box but the contents inside is well worth it. You get to choose six products from their list, most of which are full sized and almost create a box that you want to try things from.  Brands include The Body Shop, MAC, Essie and Charlotte Tilbury. Yes you did just read that right. I had my eye on a couple of bits and when I read on twitter from Hannah (amazing blog is here), that something had come back into stock I jumped for the buy button.

I picked products from brands that I love and some from the ones that I have wanted to try for ages and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. One of the things you can select is a Real Techniques brush but this was sold out when I came to buying, other than that I was actually spoilt for choice. There was just so many options!

The Body Shop Matcha Tea Mask (£17) // This is a full sized mask from TBS, I currently own two from the range and my skin loves them immensley. This mask claims to help protect the skin from pollution and nasty impurities from everyday. I have heard nothing but glowing reviews about this mask and travelling on public transport most days means this will hopefully revitalise my skin.
Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid (Sample size, full size is £26) // I did not even care that this wasn't full size, I have wanted to try something from Paula's Choice for as long as I can remember its the brand for targeting everything and this exfoilant promises to renew the skin and minimise pores, I have a very funny feeling that I am going to be purchasing the full size of this very soon because in just a couple of days it has worked wonders.
Latest in Beauty Box Review

Even though I get acylics done, my toenails are now starting to make more of an apperance thanks to the wonderful sun we've been having here in the UK. I love having different nail options to switch on my toes throughout the next few seasons. A nude like Lady Like from Essie (£5.55 full size) was a no brainer for me and was probably the first thing I selected. Its such a gorgeous shade that looks great on anyone and will be the perfect transition shade. On the other end of the spectrum is the Jessica polish in Confident Coral (£ 8.95 full size), a very bright and bold orangey coral that just screams summer. Someone once told me that these polishes last up to two weeks on the nails chip free which makes me very excited to use it!

MAC Clouds in my Coffee

MAC Clouds in my Coffee (£18.00 full size)// I adore MAC lipsticks, some of my favourite lipsticks are from them and time and time again I know that I can rely on them to provide me with a gorgeous shade that lasts and feels comfortable on the lips. This is a lipstick from their Liptensity range, which is a gel based formula that promises to give lots of pigmentation yet feel lightweight on the lips. I haven't tried this range before buying this and I think it might be the start of an obsession. The formula is very creamy and lightweight and the colour is stunning, I love that this was included within the selection of products.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips in Pin Up Pink (£24 full size) // Now, you aren't going insane there isn't this product pictured in my post. The reason why I ordered this box when I did was because Hannah mentioned that this was back in stock and it is basically the price of the whole box. When my order arrived this wasn't in the box and I was heartbroken, it was one of the things I was looking forward to trying. I contacted the LIB team and they are very kindly sending me out one which should be with me soon, so hopefully I can still try it. Other people that I know ordered this product or the wand around the same time as me, were sent a replacement product from CT instead of the product they ordered orginally, seems to be a huge mixup somewhere along the lines of processing the orders.

Regardless, I am still very happy with my box and the total of the full sized products comes to £73.50 compared to the box price of £25 - how good of saving is that! I am beyond pleased with this box and if you haven't already then please do sign up to find out when some of the other products are back in stock because it is so worth it!

Have you tried any of these products I have selected, would love to know what you think!
