Kiko Universal Fit Foundation Review

kiko universal fit foundation review

I've found a new and very unhealthy obsession, foundation. In the past week I have worn a different foundation/base product every single day. Its become a fun thing to do, testing them out and trying them. One that I keep coming back to was kindly given to me as part of a secret santa with Nishi. Its one of her holy grails and my new favourite, Kiko's Universal Fit Foundation.

Being an asian skin tone is very hard, you have yellow undertones, most brands don't stock darker shades and to top it all off you have oily skin too. In other words, finding a base product that does everything is so hard, but I have found a few favourites so expect a few foundation reviews in the next few weeks.

KIKO describes the foudation as having a 'pliable consistency' and a foundation that provides a medium-full coverage. It claims to hydrate your skin, making it look smoother and feel softer. In addition, KIKO also claim that this foundation is 'ideal for all skin types' - which is quite a claim to make! In the winter time a hydrating foundation is always a good idea because your skin really needs it.

When I first applied this foundation, the texture really was 'pliable', it glided over the skin seamlessly and blends out very easily - a little goes a very long way! It felt like I was applying moisturiser, so airy and light on the skin - whilst still providing coverage. My skin has actually felt a lot less dry since I have started using this. Even though its a hydrating foundation, it lasts amazingly well on my oily skin even after powdering my t-zone, it still looks pretty good after a whole day at work/uni!

The foundation hasn't broken me out since using it - partyyyy. It retails at £6.90 and there are over 20 shades in the range, if you pass a Kiko go ahead and get matched or guess like Nishi did for me! You can read her review here.

Whats your current foundation favourite?!
