I love buying nail polishes and store them on a acrylic storage unit, this means that I can see that every shade I have side by side and also the brands of polishes that I own. One thing I struggle with is that when it comes to choosing one to wear, it is very hard and trying to see if colours are similar to something I want to wear is a even bigger task. Anyone else know of the struggle? Well, let me introduce to you Nail-Buff, changing the way we buy nail polishes one step at a time.
How does it work??
The first step is to log on through Facebook, just so the website knows who you are. It also saves you having to fill in a form with lots of information. Then you have two options: My Collection which is where you can add all the nail polish colours you own and then Compare Polish which is another feature I will talk about later on. One by one you add the colours that you own from the list, and store them in a digital database.
Where did it all come from?
Nail Buff is run by two sisters, Harpreet is a qualified nail technician and Kam is a qualified beauty therapist. Between them they own a lot of nail polish and no doubt that is where the idea came from
and after being out shopping one day for more polishes, Harpreet realised when she got home that she a) had a different polish colour on every finger and b) had bought two polishes she already owned and the plan for Nail Buff formed…

Above is a list of all the brands and colours that are on the site, majority of them are your higher end brands which I rarely use because they are too pretty, but Nail-Buff is making me want to use them more, as I forgot how nice they are!! One by one you input each polish you own, I recommend sitting down next to your collection and listing them, it will be worth your time - trust me.
Now, the best feature in my opinion and what makes this site really unique and worthwhile is the Comparison tool. From the brands listed you are able to input two different colours and see them swatched side by side. Why is this great? If you are wanting to buy a colour but think it looks similar to another one, try before you buy also it lets you see what goes with an outfit you want to wear.
