A Lazy Girl's Guide to Summer Beauty!

Recently I got the chance to guest post over on Taylor's blog, and would just like to say thanks to her for the chance. This is 'A Lazy Girl's Guide to Summer Beauty'! I thought of putting the post on here as well as I love it that much.
Today I am going to take you through some easy steps to get you ready for the summer, and if you're anything like me - then you will agree that the summer brings out the laziness inside of you. No one wants to spend hours doing their hair and makeup, right? Summer is meant to be easy, carefree and fun! So here are a few cheats which will mean spending less time in front of the mirror. Shh!
A Lazy Girl's Guide to Summer Beauty!
1. BB Cream - No one has the patience to throw on a sunscreen then a foundation ect. Instead going with a BB Cream is the easier way out because you are combining everything in one. Garnier and a lot of other brands have started making ones with SPF included which keeps you protected from the sun.
2. Face Wipes - It's a big no no in the beauty world to use face wipes, but if you don't have a lot on your face everyday I don't see the problem with using good quality ones like these Simple ones.
3. Dry Shampoo - If you're wanting to make your hair last all day or can't be bothered to wash it, then dry shampoo will be your best friend. Why? This will absorb all the oil in your hair and make it look fresh and brand new.
4. Spray on Moisturiser - Moisturiser is like Marmite. You either love to cover your skin with lots of cream or you complain of sticky, non-absorbent formulas. Thanks to Vaseline this spray on moisturiser will absorb straight into your skin! One quick spray and you're ready to go.
5. Waterproof Mascara - This stuff is amazing in the hot weather because the waterproof formula stays on your eyelashes for ages, even though its a pain to get off.
6. Nail Wraps - If you are a big fan of nail art but are far too lazy to sit there and paint them all, then nail wraps are the greatest inventions! Long lasting and won't take you all day.
7. Texture Spray - Along with dry shampoo I love to use texturing spray to add some extra boost to your hair and it will help with those beachy waves.

DIY| Quick & Easy Iced Coffee

Quick & Easy Iced Coffee Quick & Easy Iced Coffee
Today, I have for you a quick and easy DIY summer drink that you can enjoy on a hot summers day! When I say its quick and easy I mean it really is, it doesn't involve any fancy equipment or blenders ect just a few simple things that you should have lying around the house! I used my tumbler from Starbucks so the amount of things I used doubled compared to a smaller cup or cute little jar.
Quick & Easy Iced Coffee

Step 1
Quick & Easy Iced Coffee
The first things you want to do is to add your teaspoons of coffee into your cup, I used 2 and a little bit and this Nescafe is really strong but I like some strong coffee. To this I added some Caramel Syrup but you can add sugar if you prefer or nothing as well - its up to personal preference.

Step 2

Quick & Easy Iced Coffee
You then want to add some hot water to the coffee, only enough to mix the coffee thoroughly but if you prefer your iced coffees a lot more stronger than add more water. Make sure you stir it properly so that everything is mixed well together.

Step 3

Then you want to fill it up with milk seen as though this is a iced coffee, we need something colder than the water to give it that iced feel as well as colour that it makes. I added more milk afterwards as I love more milk, but again its personal preference. Then you want to add some ice cubes, this will instantly add the 'iced and cold' feeling to your drink and that's it! Time to enjoy!

How easy?! Very. I will be making this a lot this summer, and its a lot cheaper than going out and buying one! Hope you enjoyed reading.

The Birthday Edit + First Ever MAC Purchase!

First Ever MAC Purchase!
Last Friday it was my 17th Birthday! Time flies and I honestly couldn't believe that the year has gone so fast and turning 13 seemed like yesterday. I thought I would take pictures of all my celebrations and a teen tiny haul! Not bragging or showing off, but it has been ages since I have a haul on here!

On the actual friday I was actually at work experience, and decided to go there with this birthday girl badge on that is really cute. The dress I am wearing is from Primark and have fallen in love with because the fit is beautiful as well as the pattern of it, I wore it with some black pumps but think that some heels in either nude or black would look great as well! Then on my nails I had this gorgeous colour on from Rimmel; Breakfast in Bed by Rita Ora is my go to shade at the moment.

The first two things were bought a little earlier than my birthday, as when we went to the Ideal Home Show in Manchester there was a makeup store (Cherry Berry Cosmetics also online) and their prices were a tiny little bit reduced. So I bought a MAC Glaze Lipstick in Hue which is such a gorgeous colour to wear everyday and I now want to buy lots more lipsticks because they look so pretty! I also picked up a MAC Bronzing Powder as I have been on the hunt for a new bronzer for months and when I saw this I didn't even think twice about it.

Then my lovely friends also spoilt me rotten this year! With all these lovely gifts that I have fallen in love with. Aamira bought me a MAC Lip gloss that goes great with my lipstick so that is my new everyday lip combo I can already sense it. Along with that she also bought me a box of chocolates which I gobbled up very quickly as well as the white statement necklace you can see in the 2nd picture, which I already know how to wear and what to wear with. The other necklace was from the work experience placement I was on last week which was very sweet of them, and the perfume is from my brother! The Debenhams gift card which will be spent very quickly is from Nicole as well as a Little Mix cup that I am currently drinking out of as we speak. The candle is a firm favourite in our household as well as that I received an entire pack of stationery from Charlotte the book, notebook, folder and everything to keep me organised for the new school year!

I feel very lucky to have got all these things and much more which I didn't photograph, thank you all for reading!

Top Summer Lip Products

Hi lovelies, you won't know me yet, or you might; I don't know - but I'm JennieWren3 and I'm guest blogging for Class & Glitter today! I'm going to share with you my top Summer lip products - both high end and drug store.

First up is the Topshop lipstick in Petal, which is my most wearable lipstick at the minute. It's a pink nude so if you're somebody like me and you rarely wear nude lipsticks then this is a safe one because it's got a great pink tone to it so it's not too scary! I wear this pretty much everyday at the minute, it gives that bit of oomph to a natural look or it tones down the drama if you're wearing a smokey eye. It's quite a creamy texture but becomes matte over time. It's also pretty affordable - £8!

Next up is the MAC lipstick in Impassioned, which has the amplified finish meaning it's pretty bright! That I can agree with. Impassioned is my go-to Summer bright lipstick, that I usually wear with a nice summery dress or if I'm being pretty dull with my clothing I'll brighten it up with this shade. It's £15. (which kind of annoys me - I remember buying MAC lipsticks for £12 and I thought that was expensive; will they ever stop increasing the prices?!)

Thirdly is the Revlon Matte Balm Crayon in Elusive. I was a little weary of buying this because I'd never really thought much of the crayon lip products but I ended up just picking it up for about £8. I wouldn't recommend this for people with very dry lips (like mine - so why am I recommending it?!) but I would buy it for the minty fragrance it has. It made my lips tingle a little and I find tingling lips something very exciting so obviously this would make my list! The colour is a very natural pink - it's so easy to wear for an everyday look but I wouldn't say it could work that well for an evening look - please correct me if I'm wrong!

Finally, is a little bit of an odd recommendation - it's just a plain old Nivea Pearly Shine Lip Balm. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a lip balm so much! It gives so much moisture to my lips but it's also got a pale pink tint to it and sparkles so it gives off colour as well as looking after your lips - win, win right?

What are your Summer must-have lip products?

Lots of Love
