Spring Fashion Wishlist

I have become obsessed with this random occurrence of spring weather this week and my wardrobe is partly ready. It has a couple of bits but needs a bit more of a spruce to get it really ready. I've been hooked with watching Lydia Millen on Youtube and on Instagram to see how she styles such simple outfits and that's got me wishing for a lot of, high end items like these...Everything that I talk about in this post can be found online from Acne Studios, the place for all your spring and summer fashion needs!

These items are based on ideas in my head of different outfits that can be made and on trend with the catwalks for this spring and summer. There is such a wide range of choice on www.kture.co.uk, that you are spoilt for choice.

I started by looking at jackets, a easy way to style up any outfit.

A simple and long lined trench coat is a must have this season, you can throw it on no matter what the outfit or weather as it looks so classic and completes a look rather than ruining it. I love that this one is darker than normal ones as it makes it a bit easier for someone like, who has dark hair and skin, to wear without it making me look washed out. I have been seeing blazers all over instagram and in particular checked blazers. They may seem very formal and work like, but in fact they look amazing when worn with some jeans and a simple white tee. So many ways to wear one and I need to get my hands on one. Then we have the infamous biker jacket. Mine always come out at this time of year but they're really boring - I only have black and another black one. This bright, lilacy/blue one is screaming at me. Its so different to other shades that I've seen before and I can just imagine wearing it with a white dress, or maybe jeans or even in the evening with a sparkly dress - so many different ways!

Then we go on to basics that you can't go wrong with.

Items that simple and basic are great to wear all year round as you can make them look good in so many ways without  having to spend more money on new clothes. Anything striped is always a good place to start as its a print that never goes out of fashion. I love it in this thin knit jumper form but I also love striped shirts. They both look so effortless and are easy to wear to the office and out in the evening. 2019 really is the year for denim, I keep seeing it pop everywhere and this denim skirt is ideal for anyone who wants to wear a denim skirt but hates how so many are so short! This one looks like it comes just under the knee and has gone straight to the top of my wish list to buy and invest in. This paired with shirt, t-shirts, blouses, bodysuits - literally anything will look amazing.

To finish, we have to have accessories.

I am loving the recent trend of pearl hair clips and headbands that has come about and this new scarf trend is something I am also with. Did you know that there are so many different ways you can style a silk scarf? No need to buy one either, just raid your mum's wardrobe (well this is what I did) to find one. They can be worn countless different ways in the hair to keep it looking cool but also tied onto a handbag to change the look of it. A bag such as a classic white cross the shoulder one for example, like the one in the image above would be perfect with a scarf tied around. It not only adds a pop of colour but some elegance to the bag and makes it look a lot more expensive. Accessories really are the best way to round an outfit and completely change an outfit around.

I'd take advantage of the lovely weather and use it as an excuse to go shopping or browse online - its now or never!
