Currently Loving

There are so many products that I am loving currently, some of which haven't had a mention on here ever! Monthly favourites fizzle in and out fashion as a blog post, so I thought of just choosing some of my favourite products at the moment and mashing them together in one post.
I find myself using the same products so often and to death, that I end up using things up before I have even had the chance to talk about them, hopefully I can keep making these types of posts!

This past month or so, there hasn't been a day where I haven't used the Urban Decay All Night Spray, this setting spray is magic in a bottle. It is such a fine mist, that when sprayed on to the face it sets almost instantly. On my combination skin, this helps to keep it hydrated and locks in my makeup. No matter what base I am wearing, this helps it to stay in place and not produce any oil.

If you suffer from hair that is prone to oil and grease then you need the Khadi Nutgrass Shampoo* in your life! It isn't the most appealing shampoo to use, but the brown liquid lathers up into a really great shampoo that helps to purify the scalp, remove oil over time and give hair that bounce and shine it needs. When I first used this, I wasn't amazed by it as my hair just felt clean. The second time around, I fell in love. It felt like it lathered up more on my hair and really gave it some bounce,  this time round and now on, the colour of the liquid doesn't really bother me and neither does the citrus smell. It has helped with my hair washing routine as I have gone from every other day to every three!

My recent Colourpop haul (here) has gone down a real treat with me, there is not one product that I don't love. The two stand outs have to be the No Filter Concealer and Lunch Money Highlighter. The highlighter is incredible for a little pot, it packs a punch. The universally flattering pearly, gold shade just melts into the skin. Unlike other powder highlighters, this is a kind of cream to powder finish. By this I meant that when you touch it, it feels like a cream but once blended it is a perfect powder. I find that this has to be really buffed into the skin otherwise it maximises any texture. The concealer is one product I am really impressed with, there have been many mixed reviews on this, from people finding it too drying to it oxidising. On my skin, it doesn't oxide in fact, it is the perfect shade for me. I love using to cover redness and breakouts that my foundation doesn't. It is creamy and very easy to blend. I tried this under my eyes, but it isn't bright enough for me as I matched it for my skin. I am hoping to make an order in the future and get one lighter to help brighten under the eyes.

I recently become a Botanics ambassador (hooray!). This means that over the next few months, I get the chance to try their products and give you an exclusive discount code. If you use the code BOTANICS2 it gives you money off anything and everything from the range. The standouts for me are front he All Bright range for sure. The radiance balm* is the perfect morning pick me up. It has a lotion consistency yet feels so light on the skin. As soon as I apply this, my skin has this instant glow to it without looking greasy or like an oil slick. The All Bright range includes hibiscus which helps to brighten the skin without being too harsh. The day cream* works well also as a primer but underneath gives you an extra powerful glow.

Even though I am obsessed with wearing darker shades of lipstick at the moment, you can't beat a good nude. My love for Charlotte Tilbury's Bitch Perfect has been rekindled. I left this at my university house for when I came back and how I have missed it! The shade is my lips but way better, so buttery and applies like a dream. I love layering this with a gloss on top, to give that pinky nude look. I am really wanting to try her liquid lips, the shades look amazing!

On a side note, I am loving the DW Candles, you can buy these in both Homesense and TKMaxx. These small ones are only £2.99 and the largest ones are £8. There are a whole range of scents available to buy and once you have, I promise that you will want them all. They also look really cute on the side of your bed or in the lounge. In the TV world, Designated Survivor is back (happy dance) if you need something to watch, I suggest you get on with it! When the first season came out, I watched 8 episodes in one day - that was how engrossed I was.

What have you been loving recently?!
