Kylie Cosmetics Holiday Collection

If you've not heard about Kylie Cosmetics, then where have you been? Ever since the popular reality tv star, Kylie Jenner released her own brand of makeup products the world has exploded. With her products been so in demand, she's now got a bigger factory and more items available.

Since the start I have wanted to get my hands on some of the products to test, try and see if they were worth the hype. After a long que, I managed to get hold of the Holiday Edition Kyshadow Palette and 4 piece full size Holiday Lipkit Set. Both were on my list and now I couldn't be happier.

Because I ordered over a certain amount, shipping to the UK was free (Winner!) and Royal Mail didn't charge me with a customs fee either so it was like Christmas had come earlier. I tracked the parcels all the way from the start and kept a good eye on them, hats of to Kylie for building an empire so amazing and successful.

Can we talk about the packaging though? Insert all the heart eyed emoji's here please, the silver packaging for this collection is so pretty. It goes perfectly with this time of year and looks amazing. The 4pc lip kit was an absolutely steal, you're getting the chance to try 4 lip kits for the price of 1! The set contains 2 matte liquid lipsticks and 2 glosses for $45 = £36.

The 2 glosses are in the shades, Cupid which is a rose toned pink gloss and then Noel which is more of the gold side. Personally, the glosses are far too sticky for my liking and very glittery. The swatches online/from Kylie made them look really subtle and easy to wear. But its the complete opposite for me, they just don't sit right.

Then we have the two matter lipsticks, which are my new favourite things to wear. The dusky pink, nude shade is Angel and is a great shade to wear everyday. Then the darker, more purple based shade is Blitzen and is the perfect evening out colour. The formula of these are INCREDIBLE and makes me want to try out the other Matte Lip Kits that she has to offer. They glide on like a dream, are pigmented to the max and last through anything and everything. The kind of lip products that you can apply at 8 in the morning and not worry about until 8 in the evening.

She also has two different applicators for these products, the glosses are a wand and the matte liquids are a dofer but both are amazing!

Now on to the main event, the Holiday Palette which retails at $42 which is equal to around £33. The packaging for the palette is a bit 'cheap' she could have made it that tiny bit more expensive looking but the mirror inside makes up for the fact that the packaging is so poor.

Each shadow has been carefully selected by Kylie and the mix of warm mattes and glitters combine together to make the perfect palette for the winter. I have no words, this palette is incredible - every single shade swatched and applied like a dream. They are creamy, easy to blend and have very little fallout. I particularly, love the gold glitter because it has a deep tone and looks stunning.

I was afraid that the blue shades wouldn't be for me, but I am proven wrong because they suit me so well. Infact, all the shades suit me and other people I know with lighter skin tones. She's made a palette that is for all and I am head over heels.

I have to say that Kylie Cosmetics did not disappoint, everything I have tried (a grand total of 5 things) is amazing and can't wait to save up some more pennies and try her other products out to get a feel for everything. If you are wanting to try something from Kylie then I urge you to keep an eye on her accounts for updates and then order - because once they're gone, they are gone!
