PM Skincare Routine

Thankfully, my skin is the best it has been in a long time. Its because of a matter of factors that play a part together, upping my water intake, cutting out dairy slowly and finding an evening skincare routing that is so good, I get excited to take my makeup off. For reference, my skin type is combination. Oily in the t-zone and the dry as hell everywhere else, its a struggle trying to find products that work well all over and benefit my skin in the right places too. The following seven products have been amazing over the past few weeks and I can't thank them enough.

Cleanse, Tone & Exfoliate

It all starts off with a double cleanse. Every time I remove my makeup, a double cleanse is what I do..it takes just a minute more and makes such a big difference because it ensures all your makeup is removed. Starts with the Good Things Manuka Honey Cleanser (£4.99), so cheap yet amazing! My skin loves honey based products and this really does the job in removing everything even waterproof mascara. Then, followed up by the Simple Cleansing Oil (£6.99) a new product from the sensitive skin brand and one that needs to be talked about more. A simple and effective oil that removes any last traces of makeup and dirt off the skin and it hydrating too if you have dry skin.

My latest obsession is the Body Shop Tea Tree 3 in 1 (£8.00), picked up on a whim and now the new love in my skincare life. It can be used as a cleanser, which I don't use it for as its too harsh. A exfoliate which I do use it for because of the small grains it really gets into the skin and unclogs the pores and then it can also be used as a mask! Perfect right?! The Pixi Glow Tonic (£18)  is what my skin has been loving as well because it has brightened it and given me a natural glow. Very harsh so only use it every so often but amazing when you do use it;

Treat and Moisturise

The next three products are the spot fighting trio! The Clarol Sebopure* (£12.95) is the newest addition into my skincare routine and one that will be staying for a long time. Its a cream  that has been made for oily and combination skin that suffers from breakouts, containing a natural plant active called pixalia to decrease the amount of sebum the skin produces thus decreasing the amount of breakouts. Its helped to unclog my pores and prevent them from being clogged further, as well as moisturising my skin as many spot treatments can be very drying. Using this every night for the past two weeks has made such a difference, not one spot around my cheek area, the one that is usually prone to breakouts!
One of the drying treatments is the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (£15.50), its amazing don't get me wrong because the hyper-pigmentation on my forehead is near to gone but so drying out on the skin due to it being so strong. Using this both AM and PM has given amazing results to my skin and I am excited to try more from LRP in the future. The final product that I have been using on an off is the Body Shop Tea Tree Oil (£8.00) its a oil that is made for blemished skin. Tea tree has a great deal of benefits, from being soothing, calming and rejuvenating for the skin. Its great but not the best thing in the world, still going to keep on using it and see how we get on.

Skincare is something that everyone must take seriously and investing time to look after your skin is very important. What are your current skin care go to's, I'm always looking for new products to try!
