Boots Haul

We've all done it, walked into Boots with a list of essentials like nail polish remover and ended up walking out with a 5p bag full of makeup because you can't handle yourself. Just me then.  Going into Boots the other day was very exciting because all the stands had just been stocked up again and there were so many new offers on all brands, the beauty addict inside of me couldn't resist.

sleek haul

The first stand I headed towards was Sleek, for one thing in particular the infamous Solstice Higlighting Palette (£9.99) everyone and their next door neighbour raves about this palette, for its pigmentation and amazing highlighting payoff. After months, I managed to buy one and it is gorgeous - can't wait to start using it. Sleek is currently on offer 2 for £12 at the moment in Boots, so buying two over £10 products is a great steal. The other product that went straight into my basket is the Face Form Palette (£9.99) it contains a contour, blush and highlight shade all in one - making it a great all in one product.

revlon haul

Revlon is fast becoming one of my favourite 'base' brands. A few weeks ago I picked up the Revlon Colourstay Foundation for Combination/Oil (£12.99) and I've fallen in love with it. The formula is perfect for my skin and it lasts all day long, I had to grab another bottle whilst my shade was in stock because you just never know when you'll need it. To match the colourstay foundation, the concealer (£6.99) seemed a very good idea too. If this formula is anything like the foundation then it will be a match made in heaven. If you can't tell already highlighter is my obsession right now, the highlighting stick (£9.99) just wanted to be bought off the shelf and well its stunning. Very creamy and a golden iridescent lying through it.
natural collection highlighting stick

Keeping with the highlighter theme, Jasmine from blogsallbeautyy tweeted about how amazing the Natural Collection Highlighter Stick (£1.99) is and that its a must buy. In fact, a fair few bloggers have been talking about NC in general lately and so they should because its an amazing brand and the one that started my makeup obsession. Its the same thing as the Revlon one but so much cheaper, so I am very excited to put them both to the test!

maybelline haul

Then I visited Maybelline for a browse because their new releases are always interesting. Especially the newly released Colour Drama Lip Paints (£4.99), they are similar to gloss but a lot bolder and with a sponge applicator you could call them the high street version of the Too Face Melts. Looking forward to using this gorgeous nude colour. Another 'I'm very late to the party purchase' is the Lash Sensational Mascara (£7.99) duped to be exactly like the Roller Lash from Benefit I am very excited indeed to try it out and hopefully fall in love with it.

Safe to say that I didn't end up buying nail polish remover but who cares, all the pretty makeup!!
