Pizza. Who doesn't love it? I don't think since starting university that I have gone one week without having pizza, the diet starts tomorrow. Last week I have invited to the grand opening of MOD Pizza in Leeds - a pizza lovers heaven. This is a very picture heavy post apologies and if it makes you crave pizza I am also very sorry!
MOD PIZZA - Who? What?
MOD stands for Made on Demand, they started up in Seattle in America and after conquering the states they have made the move over the seas to the UK. With Leeds, Kirkstall Road been their first branch. The concept behind the brand is amazing, you can't reserve or walk in asking for a table for two you walk in and go for it. Select your pizza, either one from their menu or create your own (which is what we went for). You tell the first server your preference and your name, because once its been cooked you get shouted over to collect it.
Then you choose from an array of toppings, everything from pesto for the base to asparagus for the topping! As vegetarians my whole family love more topping so this is like a dream as you pick anything you want. Another great thing about MOD Pizza is that their pizzas cost one price. No matter what topping, filling it will only cost you £7.47. What a bargain.
The pizzas were amazing and the place itself is just out of this world. A very weird pizza place to go to but great for a get together with your friends or meal out with your family. We left the event with a big smile on our face because we enjoyed every minute of it. We also had the professional photographers take quite a few photos of us, so when they become available I shall add them to this post.
If you are ever in the Leeds area and in need some food, MOD Pizza is where you need to go!
