Una Brennan Salicylic Acid Purifying Cleansing Wash Review

Hello, welcome to another episode of fixing Parie's skin. It has been a constant battle, that includes a lot of crying, healthy eating and the occasional chocolate bar because why not. In today's blog post, I am going to be reviewing the (amazing) Super Facialist by Una Brennan, Salicylic Acid Purifying Cleansing Face Wash. Phew, that was a mouthful. This wash has been my skin saviour the past few weeks and has worked like magic.

Una Brennan Salicylic Acid Purifying Cleansing Wash Review

Firstly, let me tell you about my skin. Its very sensitive, breakout prone and sometimes very dry. This product worked for me and my skin type and if you are very similar then it might for you. Please don't take this review as a 'this is what will happen with my skin' because everyone has different skin types and ways that it responds to things.
On a recent trip to Boots, I spotted this little gem in the bottom corner. A quick google search to find some reviews like this one/what it does I was sold and ended up buying it. Since the, I have been using it every morning in the shower and every night after taking my makeup off.
"Purifying Cleansing Wash is formulated with skin clearing Salicylic Acid to help detoxify and deep clean congested skin of daily impurities and excess oils without causing irritation.
With regular daily use, this lightweight, refreshing foaming gel infused with Elderflower will leave skin feeling balanced and looking healthier and clearer."
It is a very light -weight formula, with a strong elderflower smell which surprisingly hasn't reacted with my skin or made me feel really sickly. In the last 4 weeks of using it, I have seen a huge difference in my skin. Now part of my daily routine. It not only appears brighter but the breakouts are coming less and the texture is lovely and soft. Why does it do all these wonderful things? Well, the main ingredient in the wash is Salicylic Acid proved to help with breakouts and keep you skin at bay. It has cleaned my skin out from right deep inside and has uncovered a new layer. There are still marks and the occasional hormonal breakout but the rest is gone, this is also partly due to something else I have been doing but that is for a different post entirely.

It retails at £7.99, which I consider a lot of money for something that I will now be going through very quickly and using everyday but something that is an essential and will have to buy to help me. There is also a matching Clay Mask from this range that I have my eye on next because if this works well, just imagine the power of the mask.

If you need something to really clean and unclog your skin then this is for you, a wonderful treat!
