EBAY FINDS| £2 NARS Kabuki Ita Brush Dupe

£2 NARS Kabuki Ita Brush Dupe

Yes, you did read the title of this blog post right, I have found a NARS brush dupe for just £2. When browsing Ebay a few weeks ago I came across the RT Dupes I bought a while back (full post here) and when scrolling down even further along came the image of a flat contour brush, that looked really similar to the NARS one!

The images on the Ebay listing showed it with the NARS logo but I never believe anything I see on the internet until it comes in front of me. Until the other day it came in the post and oh my oh my, i screamed with a great deal of excitement because it came with the logo on and looks identical to the real brush. I don't own one as it costs a bomb of £43 at John Lewis  but looking at pictures it is pretty similar.

I am beyond happy with the quality and it works a dream! For the price you honestly can't go wrong, and I am debating about whether or not to buy another one in case the seller stops selling it. It came two weeks after ordering if you were wondering, which isn't bad considering it comes from outside of the UK.

International Swap with Mollie!

International Swap with Mollie

AHHHHHH! I am screaming with so much excitement right now and I have the biggest smile on my face, a while back now I found the lovely Mollie on instagram and she loved the look of something (i can't remember exactly) and from then on we started emailing back and forth and soon it came to April and we posted out our parcels!! We told each other any items that we were desperate to get our hands on, and also send some sweets because American Sweets are hard to get in the UK and vice versa.
International Swap with Mollie
I am currently eating all these things at once because they are just too good, of all of them the Starburst jellybeans are my favourite - and the Reese's Egg is divine!!! I need to control how quickly I eat of all of this because you know summer body and all that...
International Swap with Mollie
The next thing I saw straight away was the Wet and Wild Eye-shadow this is a brand that I have always wanted to try out and more than anything the palettes because of the way it tells you where everything goes. This is in 'Walking on Eggshells' a colour that I have seen a lot of people talk and rave about before so I can't wait to get stuck in . Then something from ELF, I know this is a brand that you can get in the UK but everything i always want is always sold out which puts me off the brand, she was very kind enough to send the contouring blush and bronzer - one of the things on my list so thank you very much Mollie!!
International Swap with Mollie
I mean I really don't need any more lipsticks but if they are different to anything I own then why not have them! Almay is a brand I have never heard or used so I am super excited to use this liquid lipstick type thing and then a lipstick from Wet and Wild another item that is very hyped up in the beauty world - super excited!!
International Swap with Mollie
Now, she really has spoiled me! I have been wanting to try things from the brand Milani in forever and every time I see it on Ebay I am very very tempted but the shipping is more expensive than the product its self. Mollie very kindly sent me three products from the range, two eye shadows which I used yesterday and will feature them soon because they are awesome and a baked blush which is just INSANE. The pigmentation and the colour pay off is just amazing. THANK YOU SO MUCH MOLLIE!

All in all, she has truly truly spoilt me rotten and I can't thank her enough! This was my first time doing a swap and it was hard because the post caused me a lot of trouble but in the end it went well. You should also check out Mollie on all her social networks and her YouTube Channel which is beyond amazing ... and her accent is so cute I am very jealous. She filmed the parcel I got her on her channel which you can find a link to HERE

Review| Slendertox Tea, Does it Work?

Slendertox Tea
Slendertox Tea
I am a huge lover of herbal teas, in the past I have expressed my love for them and for green tea because of the many benefits they provide. When I got given the chance to try out the Slendertox Tea* for the 14 days I jumped with joy, anything tea related gets me excited!

What is Slendertox Tea?
From their website: '100% herbal, clean detox, organic tea will give you the best, most natural detox your body likely needs, especially if you have never done a detox before! It works by breaking down the fatty deposits which adheres to the intestine enabling your metabolism to work much more efficiently' Please please before trying out any sort of teas or any detox make sure you are able to drink it by checking the ingredients and getting advice from the doctor if you are on any medication.

DAYTOX INGREDIENTS:

Hawthorn Grain, Red Bean, Sterling Bean, Radish Leaf, Camellia Seed, Camellia Flower, Green Tea, Fennel Seeds.

SLEEPTOX INGREDIENTS:

Valerian Root, Large Hawthorn, Red Bean, Sterling Bean, Green Tea, Radish Leaf, Camellia Seed, Fennel Seeds, Camellia Flower.

Does it work?
Now the biggest question of them all, does this tea actually work? The previous tea I tried just helped me feel better but this one is definitely a lot more powerful and kicked in with the first few days. For two weeks I have been having the tea, the day one in the morning/lunchtime and then the night one is to be drank on a every other day basis hence why the packet is a lot smaller and you only get 7 teabags.
The first two days I didn't notice anything different with my appearance, weight or natural feeling. After about 5 days I noticed it, and by it I mean a dramatic change in my stomach feeling. I started experiencing a grumbling feeling (like when you are hungry but this was quieter and controllable) which worried me slightly, especially with being in the middle of school but after that it went away. The website warns that you could experience some serious symptoms like nausea, but luckily I haven't come across any situations where I feel like I am not in control of my insides. After those 5 days my toilet trips increased (apologies for it being TMI, but I want to be truthful and honest) this time luck was on my side and I was at home and any bloating sensation went away.
Final Results?
From day 5 to day 14 the last day and the last tea bag, I definitely feel detoxed. I am no longer bloated constantly and have seen a reduction in the size of my stomach, not tons obviously that can't happen straight away. This is partly due to the tea and due to the water I have been drinking in-between and a healthy diet that consists of my good old 5-a-day. If you are wanting to detox using tea then Slendertox is the one for you, just be prepared for the side effects! Are you a fan or not?

Contouring/Bronzing for Under £5

contouring under £5

Contouring and Bronzing are two words that don't mix with me very well. There are people out their who are amazing at them both and can make it look easier and effortless when it really isn't in real life let's be honest. As the weather has been getting a little bit better I haven't been opting for blush and instead for bronzer and recently Makeup Revolution are my go to brand for it and the other day I realised that I have 4 different products from them that work amazingly well and are just about for under £5...

Contouring/Bronzing for Under £5

First up is the most natural bronzer/contour of the lot, this huge bronzer is completely matte making it perfect to use on your cheekbones. It is also very sheer which gives you chance to build it up to a high intensity and it is also great to take with you for touch ups due to being light weight but I would love it even more if it had a mirror. The one thing that annoys me is that the bronzer is very very fine and when you put your brush in it, it goes everywhere - is that normal? Maybe, but I have never experienced something like it.

Contouring/Bronzing for Under £5

Protection Palette £6.00 and Contour Kit £4.00
Next up is the contour kit from MR a dupe for the much raved about one from Sleek, I don't actually own the contour kit which comes under £5 but the bronzer, blush and highlighter comes as part of the protection palette that also includes concealer and a powder. This whole palette is the perfect thing to keep in your handbag and carry around with you because you have everything in it to look a little bit normal again. The shades range from light to dark and in each one the trio to contour matches your skin tone. This is well worth the investment!

Contouring/Bronzing for Under £5

The cheapest one out of this entire lot and probably something that I would have never even thought of, a eye-shadow that you can use for contour and let me tell you it works amazingly well. It looks like a brown shadow but it is very grey toned and that actually makes it perfect to use, especially if you are like me and have darker skin then finding a contour product can be really hard but this is amazing and I can't even explain it!! If you want to see it in action then see the picture below and you will see the difference it makes, might I also add that this is the easiest way to contour that I have found.

Contouring/Bronzing for Under £5

This out of all of them is the more daring product and to tell you the truth I get really scared every time I use it because of it being so dark as yo can see in the swatch below. But then when it is on your skin and you really blend it out (clean brush works best) it doesn't look half bad. I have the normal version but there is also a matte version on the market and I may just by that next time around because it won't leave a sheen on my cheeks once it sets. I highly recommend this stick to get that Kim K look but you might need some bronzer to tone it down.

Contouring/Bronzing for Under £5

In the above picture I have a blend of the contour stick that I applied with a fluffy eye-shadow brush and really blended it in, then to define it a little bit more I applied the mocha love eye-shadow with the same brush and then to get a nice bronze glow I used the chocolate bronzer. I found that using these three together worked amazingly well and lasted all day as well, this isn't something that I would do every day more on a night out or day away. For every day the bronzers in both the protection palette and the chocolate one is amazing and not too much that you look full of makeup.

Overall all these products from MR have really changed my makeup routine, I can't imagine life now without them and they are much easier to use than they look - I guess you just have to be daring.
