Upcoming|| Signature Fragrances

Through out the year I love to switch up and change the fragrances that I use, whether that be a body spray, perfume or even my new found love of fragrance oils. What scent you wear on your body shows who you are, and your personality shines through. Everyone loves different scents and for me I am a lover of all things sweet and floral. Today's upcoming post is all about Signature Fragrances ...
Who are they?
Signature Fragrances is a reformed contemporary fragrance house based in London. We sell unique blends of fragrance oils made from the highest quality of ingredients on the market. Our fragrances are characterised by oriental and contemporary blends found around the world. Due to our penchant love for quality and discovery, we have explicitly allied our fragrances using Michael Edward's popular 'Fragrance wheel', which we use to select the finest fragrances for our customers.
Where can you get them from?
Signature Fragrances will be released in Mid-August and I feel very lucky to have been given a sneaky little peak at them all, and I would like to share them with you!

I love the smells of all the samples I got in the post and have put them all in my perfume stash, I think that these three fragrances are all perfect for different occasions. Lola for me is perfect for the day time scent and I have honestly fallen in love it, different to anything else I have every found. Oudh Memlaki is a scent not really more me, but for any lovers of spicy scents out there, a little too strong for everyday wear but great for the night time when you really want to make a statement. Lurre is scent that I didn't think I would grow a liking to, but I ended up loving it! This is a much more of a fruitier scent than the other two and they describe it as 'unforgettable' which is definitely right I could smell the scent all day on me!

FOTD|| Work Experince/Office

Not done a Face of the day post in a while, so I decided to do one today all about my go to makeup from this past week - I am currently on Work Experience and believe that the office/work place allows you to wear minimal makeup yet still look amazing...I'm not a big everyday makeup wearer and his might seem a lot but trust me I use a little bit of everything!
The Base
FOTD|| Work Experince/Office
 Simple Illuminating Radiance Cream\\ Buy Here - Since receiving this in my Glossybox last month, I have been hooked! I use the tiniest little amount of this and apply it on top of my moisturiser and it gives my skin this lovely glow and gives that dewy finish.
Benefit Porefessional Primer// Buy Here - Still a little here and there about this so I am glad this sample came free in a magazine because I can't decide whether I like it or not but for everyday I guess it does ok.
Maybelline Better Skin// Buy Here // Review Here - Again another product I am a bit here and there about, I raved about it my review and I love it but for the summer months it is very heavy but I love wearing it for a flawless finish. Using the Real Techniques buffing brush which is amazing FYI.
The Cover Up
FOTD|| Work Experince/Office
Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer // Buy Here - I love this stuff! It cover those bad boys under your eyes up really well and I need to really buy another bottle of it and review it because it is amazing.
Collection Concealer // Buy Here - I love this stuff as does majority of the beauty world, this stuff covers all those nasty blemishes on my skin and covers up the nasty bits.
Rimmel Stay Matter // Buy Here - This needs to also be repurchased because I have hit pan..It takes a long time for me to hit pan on something and I can't believe I have already..this powder is something special and different to anything else I have ever used before.
Colour and Eyes

Collection Bronzer Glow // Buy Here - Again, since getting this in my Glossybox I haven't stopped using it. I would say it gives you a bronzed look but more of a shimmering look to your cheeks and using the RT Contour Brush I love applying this in my jaw line.
MUA Blusher // Buy Here I use my fingers to apply this because I find it to be the best thing possible, the formula of this MUA blush is amazing but too pink for me so using my fingers makes it much easier to handle and control.
Maybelline Rocket Mascara // Buy here - Best thing ever. This is so natural and pretty looking that I love wearing it everyday of the week. Not anything else on my eyes apart from the mascara completes this whole look in my opinion.
The Lips
FOTD|| Work Experince/Office
Kate Moss Lipstick in 08// Buy Here - What is not to love about this range of lipsticks from Rimmel, the perfect nude ever and it smells really nice as well. These last so long on your lips and its really moisturising. I only picked up the nude shades and I really want to try the pink and red shades.
Tanya Burr in Afternoon Tea // Buy Here // Review Here - This works really well with the Rimmel lipstick and gives you that natural looking finish.

Vegetarian Mexican Dishes with Old El Paso

Vegetarian Mexican Dishes with Old El Paso

Over the last few months I have become a little addicted to cooking and with being off from school at the moment it gives me more of a chance to explore different recipes! My whole family and I are big fans of Mexican food and being Vegetarian it is something that you can't resist, so when I got the chance to review to some Old El Paso goodies I was beyond excited! Last weekend as soon as the parcel arrived we started planning a menu and here is what we cooked up...
Vegetarian Mexican Dishes with Old El Paso
Nachos Dinner Kit//
Guacamole//
Sour Cream//
The Nachos Dinner Kit comes with the chips and a yummy salsa that my dad ended up mixing together with some salad topping. The salsa was very tangy and the chips were salty so it complimented one another extremely well! Topped off with Sour Cream and Guacamole for extra taste.

Extra Mild Super Tasty Tortilla Bake//
JalapeƱo and Tomato Mix//
Chipotle Chilli and Honey Mix //
For mains we had this new product from Old El Paso, this tortilla bake sounds really interesting and once reading the back of the box we were sold on making the veggie version. The kit comes with 8 wraps, a stir in sauce and a topping sauce. For the filling instead of meat we used a mixed beans tin from the supermarket with some random vegetables like mushrooms (my favourite vegetable!) and added the stir in sauce which added some real Mexican flavour and it also smelt amazing. For some extra spice you could also add the casserole mixes as well, and use them in other dishes such as pasta! To make the bake, you layer up the wraps then the filling and a sprinkle of cheese followed by more wraps and so on until your're all done. Then using the topping sauce cover the top of the wraps so it is covered entirely with some cheese on top and stick it in the oven until its all crispy and bubbly.

Mild Rice Meal //
Chilli and Garlic Rice Meal //
To accompany the bake we cooked, we opened up a rice meal as well, these one pot meals are great if you are in a rush and want something quick and easy to cook. It took less than 10 minutes to cook and all you have to do is add water boil it and then let the rice cook until it becomes all fluffy and yummy. I had this rice the day after as well for lunch and it tasted just as good.

And then finally it was time to eat! I tried my best to present it well but I was more bothered about getting it in my tummy than taking a photo.I find it so cool how when you cut into the bake you can see all the different layers and it might not look like the most appetising thing in the picture but trust me it was.

I hope you enjoyed this different style of post, I had so much fun cooking the food and writing the post even if it did make me feel really hungry 11 o'clock in the morning! Thanks to Old El Paso and Reprise Media for all the goodies I had so much fun!

5 Things to Buy This Summer

5 things to buy this summer

Hello! I'm Kayla from Microscopebeauty.com and I'm guest posting for Parie today! With summer fast approaching these five products are musts for the warmer months.

Summer makeup is all about minimalism in my opinion. Keeping things simple during hot days means your makeup will stay on and you can get outside to enjoy the weather faster. The Stila One Step Correct ($36) does wonders at evening out your skin tone and brightening things up. If you're looking for a really natural look, this stuff is perfect to smooth over your face and call it good. It's also amazing under foundations and tinted moisturizers.

If you want a bit more coverage than just a primer, the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer ($42) is the perfect light base for the warmer months. Plus it has SPF 30 to help protect your skin from the sun. It provides a nice dewy finish to the skin without making you look oily or sweaty. It's as good as everyone says.

For a nice flush glow you're going to need to get the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in "Peaceful" ($26). I've never had a blush look so natural and provide the perfect wash of color. I love using this on days where I'm going for a "no makeup" makeup look. It also can be built up for a more noticeable look. It also lasts for ages so you don't have to worry about it disappearing when you're out and about exploring.

For lips it's nothing but the Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in "Peach on the Beach" (£7.99). These lip crayons are the most moisturizing crayons I've ever used (and I've tried my fair share). "Peach on the Beach" is a lovely light pink shade that is incredibly pigmented and lasts well on the lips.

For nails you're going to need to pick up Essie's "Mojito Madness" ($8.50). I call this my "grass green" polish and it's the perfect eye-catching shade for summer. It's opaque and has a lot of dimension to it. I'm not one for green polishes, but this one is just lime enough to avoid making your fingers look like green beans.

What are your must buy products for summer? Be sure to stop by my blog microscopebeauty.com and say hi!
