Guest Post| How to give your locks a moisture recharge

Hello! I'm Laura from musthavegirl.co.uk and the lovely Parie is kindly letting me guest post today. - very exciting! I want to tell you all about a fantastic little product to help whip your hair into shape before the summer. I have been struggling recently with dry and tangled hair that has been in need of a bit of TLC. So off I went to Boots in search of something to remedy it.
I picked up a bottle of the Aussie Miracle Recharge Lightweight Conditioning Spray as I am already a huge fan of their shampoo and conditioner. The conditioning spray contains Australian macadamia nut oil which is a great ingredient, packed full of nutrients and vitamins that softens your hair, rejuvenates it and also works to protect it. Proteins in the oil help to strengthen hair, preventing split ends which makes dry hair look worse.
I have been incorporating the spray into my existing hair care routine which includes brushing my hair with a Tangle Teezer before I hop in the shower then double shampooing and conditioning  using products designed specifically for dry/damaged hair. Then I use the Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Mineral Masque for a couple of minutes before rinsing.
Once I get out of the shower, I gently squeeze any excess water from my hair. Please, please do not towel dry your hair ever! It damages the cuticle (the outer layer) of the hair causing it to look frizzy and can lead to breakage. When your hair is wet, it becomes more elastic and prone to breaking so be gentle!
To soak up some of that excess water, use a microfibre hair turban while you brush your teeth, put your makeup on, or whatever else you need to do to get ready. Then once ready, remove the turban and liberally spritz the lengths of your hair with the conditioning spray, followed by a heat protection spray, then dry and style your hair as normal.
If you follow this routine, you will inject moisture back into your hair and it will look smoother, shinier and healthier in no time as well as smelling amazing! For more reviews, top tips and wish lists pop over to musthavegirl.co.uk

Ebay Wishlist #1

I browse Ebay far too much during the week, here is a list of all the things I am currently swooning over! If you see anything you fancy just click the small items below! Both the bags come in a variety of different colours, I seem to be more attracted to the navy blue colour and may just end up ordering it! Benefit is such an amazing brand but so expensive if you don't end up liking the products, buying little samples make it easier for you to see what you like and what you don't! I have a lot of makeup bags already, but this one has two cure little sections in and the polka dots are adorable, same with the makeup brushes I have way too many but I am wanting a brand new packet to take on holiday with me (more next week!!) And then the slogan on this sweater is my favourite thing ever.

Haul| Lip Products

Who doesn't love a good old haul? But this isn't any sort of haul, this is a lip product haul - yes all about those lip products so you addicts out there are about to be excited! A few weeks ago I entered a competition on Instagram to win a few goodies from BeautyStash, I don't want to reveal too much about what I won because it will be a surprise and a post of course very soon! But along with the 'big' prize I was also very kindly gifted with all these goodies...

First things are the essentials of your lip base, a brush to apply the heavy colours and a lip balm to help with those chapped lips. The 17 Lip Brush is the perfect sized brush to use on my odd shaped lips and is really soft to help with precision. Balmi lip balms are something I ALWAYS see when shopping or scrolling on instagram and I am really excited to start using this one, This one is he strawberry scent, so lets hope I don't eat it!

Then we have 3 different Rimmel Products, all three are completely different and right up my street! First up is a Provocalips in Dare to Pink, I will have to do a post on these soon because this is my fourth one and each one just keeps getting better and better despite the other reviews I have read about them - I love them! Then a Oh My Gloss by Rita Ora a really pretty nude lipgloss, perfect for on top and on its own. Then the summer colour of them all a Kate Moss Lipstick a bright pink that is getting me in the mood for the hot weather!

Now, I really have been spoilt by the lovely people over at BeautyStash, not one but two MAC lipsticks!! These are actually two colours that I have had on my wishlist for a while now, the first is Pure Zen and the other is Please Me. Both are right up my street as they are pinky nudes, both shades are also great for the summer as are the rest of them. Will be using these very soon and then talking all about them..

Hope you enjoyed this very different style of haul, and look out for the second part of this giveaway prize very very soon ....

Welcoming Spring

Hello Spring 🌸 by far my favourite season after all the rest of course, I love the warm but not hot and sweaty weather, pretty pastels and rose gold everything because it shines in the sunlight. If the weather stays like this in the UK for a lot longer then everyone's happy mood will last longer. Today's face of the day/what's on my face (whatever you want to call it) is inspired by the lovely weather outside and my happier mood, it's not very bright more rose gold and pretty!

FACE

For the base for which I used the +L'Oréal Paris UK & Ireland Infallible Matte , don't let the matte put you off as it leaves a nice sheen on your face that lasts all day. Followed by the +Makeup Revolution Protection Palette which contains three concealers for covering everything.  The lightest is perfect for scarring, middle one for under the eyes and the dark one for spots. The texture of them is like jelly like but soft to blend in and the coverage is amazing, such a shame that you can't buy them on their own. Now that it is warmer I prefer having bronze skin. Not the best person to tell you how to contour or bronze the right way but if you are a beginner like me then try out the blush stick, easy. And the protection palette has a blush, bronzer, highlighter that are all amazing too. Finishing it all off with Rimmel +RimmelLondon Stay Matte Powder.

See my recent MR Haul (here)

For the eyes I kept it very simple but rose gold with the Pure Cult Palette I used the 1st, 3rd, and 4th shadow on the top row and then the third one on the bottom row to just darken it up a little bit. For the price this palette is truly amazing and the lousy brush isn't that bad either. Still madly in love with +Benefit Cosmetics UK & Ireland  Roller Lash because it just makes my eyes look wide awake and coat my lashes to make them longer.

This is my current go to and favourite nude lip combo, these three together are a perfect sandwich. First up one of two liners from Primark out of the both of them this nude one is by far the one I love using because it's my lip colour but better! The other one I got was the red one which isn't getting as much use yet as it should do (here). Followed up with Eva's Nude the best one for me from the range as it isn't too pink and has more cool tones it it and then finally finishing it off with +Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Chic that I only got recently because I love it when she wears it and now I love wearing it as well!

Woah that was a long post, I hope you enjoyed this spring inspired makeup look! I would love to know what products you are loving at the moment and also any brighter lip options...
