Faith in Nature Aloe Vera Shampoo+Conditioner| Review

Faith in Nature Aloe Vera

I love washing my hair even if it does take up a lot of time, I like standing in the shower as well as my hair feeling clean and fresh! Since becoming a blogger I have become a lot more aware of the nasty things that are put in products but didn't realise just how many of them are in hair products!

I was recently contacted by the lovely people at Faith in Nature to review their shampoo* and conditioner range and I immediately jumped at trying out the Aloe Vera range because I am obsessed with the smell and the plant in general. They are a brand that are all natural, they don't use anything horrible in their products and offer body care as well as hair care, so maybe take a sneaky peek at their website to discover more.

The bottles are 400 ml each and retail at £5.35 each which is a whopper of a bargain for the amount you are getting. The packaging isn't very out there but should that really matter if the product inside is amazing? I've been using the two of these* combined for over a week and a half now so that's around 6 times in total and lemme break it down..
Smell - The smell of a hair product is the most important to anyone I think, you're hair has to smell nice. This set of products have a citrus smell to it, very lemon like but not too strong that it burns you're nose when you smell it.
Texture - At first the shampoo was really runny and watery but after a good shake it was a little better and lathered into a soapy shampoo that filled my hair with freshness. Following up with the texture much more thicker in texture, I used it on my ends and my hair felt/feels so soft! I love the feeling of it, sometimes conditioner can feel really oily and I hate it but this is different.
Afterwards - After drying my hair I was left with volume, and my hair feeling super soft it was as though it has stripped it of everything bad and left a lot of good it in!

My mum who has thick, curly hair also tried both the shampoo and conditioner and she has fallen in love with them! She loves the smell of them on her hair afterwards and the way it feels in her hair and she is a lover of thick conditioners as they do the job well!

If you want to look at the full range of products faith in nature have to offer, check them out and let me know if you fancy any of their shampoo scents they have chocolate, pineapple and grapefruit!

Festive Nails #1 - BarryM Raspberry

BarryM Raspberry

Its the first of December, EEEEPPP!! This month you will see a whole range of festive posts, and every monday for the whole month I will be posting different 'Festive Nails'. I did this last year as well, feel free to check them out here hope you enjoy and hopefully I can remember to post every Monday! Today I am bringing you one of the polishes I have had for a while but haven't used before! This is BarryM's Rapsberry with Rose Gold Glitter on top and is the most beautiful combination I have ever seen, the colours work so well together and I wish that this polish was in gelly formula because it doesn't last as long! But never mind, still love it and have worn it for the the past week on my toes and fingers!

RT Mini Brush Trio & Miracle Complexion Sponge |Review

Mini Brush Trio & Miracle Complexion Sponge

I got sucked in again by cohorted and let me tell you, it is such an easy way of spending money but you're spending it on things that are discounted so its ok! My most recent purchase was the amazing real techniques duo above, the mini brushes and the sponge two things that I was going to get around Xmas time with my boots points but cohorted saved me and did a cracker deal for these two things for only £13! After road testing them for a few weeks, I thought I would share my thoughts with you..

Mini Brush Trio & Miracle Complexion Sponge

RT Mini Brush Trio//
I find it really difficult to fit makeup brushes in my handbag and even school bag, so these are the perfect invention! The pink one is a small powder brush, then the orange one is a foundation brush and the purple is a eye-shadow brush (also great for concealer). They are super cute and so small that they are the size of my hand! At only £9.99 the set is also super affordable, the brushes come in a small plastic pouch which again is great to carry around and keeps your bag tidy so you don't get any makeup stains in your bag.
I was a little hesitant at first because sometimes when products are shrunk down they don't work as well and aren't as good quality but these have proved me wrong. I love them!

Buy the sponge

I am sure you have all heard of the famous Beauty Blender that everyone seems to have, but for me its too expensive and seems like a lot of hassle to keep up with cleaning it. When I first heard that RT where bringing out a way more affordable and budget friendly one I was buzzing..but wanted to wait to get my hands on it. Now I am regretting the fact I didn't buy it earlier. This cute little egg shaped sponge works wonders and has been crafted to make it easier to do certain parts of your face. The orange colour was a bit off putting at first but then I realised that your foundation doesn't really show up much and that makes me a happy chappy. I made the mistake at first of swiping my foundation over my face using the sponge and then thought to myself that I was doing this wrong and watched to tutorial to learn that you press and roll to work the product into your face!!!
The one problem I have with it is when you wet it, even if its only slightly the water doesn't really go away when you ring it out there is still some on the sponge sucked inside other than that I love this sponge a lot, but would choose my buffing brush over it any day!

Have you tried either of these?
