Home Sweet Home Restaurant || Manchester ♥

During the half term the family and I popped up to Manchester to have a day out, and after a long day of shopping and getting drenched in the rain we were hungry monsters! It was one of those days where we just wanted to eat something warm, hearty and delicious! When I was doing some research on where we could go and eat that night as vegetarians I stumbled across Home Sweet Home that is located right in the centre of the city and when reading the menu online I was dying to try it out and I am so glad we did!
As we entered this american diner/ western restaurant it was packed and looked like we would have to wait for a while to be seated, but that was not the case! We walked and got directed to the back where there was a cute little corner table waiting for us and when I took my seat I knew I was in heaven.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing, and there is something on the menu for everyone, as veggies we all really enjoyed it as there was so much to choose from! Not only were the mains sounds good..but the drinks where amazing! I ordered the Nutella Milkshake that was topped with roasted marshmallows and was truly heavenly! I just had to take a picture to share with you all, and then for mains I had there halloumi cheese and falafel wrap with sweet potato fries on the side - this was amazing. Every bit was so tasty and I felt like I was eating my life away.
If you ever happen to pop into Manchester, then I could not recommend this restaurant to you all more the food, service and just everything was amazing! Here are a few pictures to melt your heart and you will be very jealous of me!

Starting Off; Makeup Tools ♥

makeup brushes for beginnings
No way is this the last ever week of #TheSoProject!! I can't honestly believe that 10 weeks have gone so quickly, and that since first signing up to do this project my knowledge has grown so much more! For the final ever time, I will be taking to you about how to apply your make up.. there are so many different ways to apply it that you are spoilt for choice on what to pick and when and how!

makeup brushes for beginnings
First of all is the most common one which is brushes! There are so many brands out there that you could choose from and use, but my favourite has to be Real Techniques because there is something for everyone for such a great price. It would be something I would add to your wish list because they are amazing! In the below picture you can see two gold brushes, these aren't actually RT they are 'dupes' I bought this on Ebay for £3 each or you can but the whole set for £12. Just like the real ones they work perfectly! The on the left is mainly for foundation and is great for all different types! It also helps create a flawless finish on your face.. the one on the right which is pointed can be used for either blush or bronzer as it is tapered.
The one in the pink is from the actual RT travel collection and is the multi-task brush, you are able to use this one for everything - foundation, powder, bronzer and blusher. Just like the dupe ones it works perfectly on your face and picks up just the right amount of product!

The next thing you could use is make-up sponges that are now available to buy anywhere! These are great used damp with foundation and again give you that flawless airbrushed look to your whole look. For such a great price you can achieve such a lovely look and they come in all different shapes and sizes so you are able to find the one that is the best for you to use.

As well as using brushes and sponges for your face you need tools for your eyes to make them look amazing as well. The two black brushes in this picture are from a make up brush set I actually bought it in a set for Morrisons and haven't stopped using them since! The one at the top is a eye shadow brush which is flat so it makes it easier to really pack on that eye shadow and really bring out the vibrant colours that you want to show off. The other is a eye smudge brush that I love using to mix together colours on the eye and use it more on the crease line so that there aren't any harsh lines that make it look a little like a dolls make up. One of the best tools ever invented has to be the eye lash curler, this one from Primark is my favourite. Why? Well, it was not only cheap but also great at curling your eyelashes before you apply that lovely mascara to give you even longer looking lashes!
TIP - heat your curler for a little while with a hair dryer to make it easier to curl them lashes!

Thank you for being with me for the past 10 weeks and I hope that you have all enjoyed these posts, and if you want to go back and read the rest then click here to find them all together!

Favourite Yankee Candles for Autumn/Winter ♥

I have a serious obsession with candles, not just at the moment but all the time. After a cheeky few purchases I thought I would share with you my favourite ones for the up and coming seasons, there are two sweet scents that you class summery but I love them for autumn!

Favourite Yankee Candles for Autumn/Winter

First up we have two sweet scents that I love burning in the autumn as I think that they are great for the summer into winter transition. Vanilla Cupcake has a delicious and sweet smell to it, and very rich vanilla smelling! When I first heard the name I wanted to buy the big jar, but then I thought that it may be a little too sickly! So, I decided to just stick to the sampler to see how the smell does.
Vanilla Frosting is one I bought from Tesco so it was slightly cheaper than normal, again a very sweet vanilla smelling candle however isn't as strong smelling as vanilla cupcake, this is great if you don't want something heavy smelling and just a sweet note.

The next two, were kindly gifted last Christmas to me and I love them for the winter winter time. By this I mean in the run up to Christmas and after as well. I have burnt a little bit of each last year to get a sense of smell and I love the way they just fill the room with this scent.
Christmas Cupcake has to be my favourite scent for Christmas, it just makes you feel so cheerful and happy and makes your house smell like a cake making factory! This doesn't smell sickly either!
Next is Winter Wonderland, this straight up smells like fresh pine. I love the smell of pine, oak and real christmas trees and this is all them smells in one compact jar. You seriously can get the house smelling all cosy and warm with this scent of wonderland.

I have always loved burning tarts, they last for a super long time and they are a great way to test whether or not you are going to like the smell. These are ones again purchased from Tesco smell just amazing, Both are very spicy scents that are perfect for the fall time as they just fill the room up with all these amazing smells and makes the house feel very cosy and warm. If you like your strong, infusion scents then these are both for you!

And finally, are two fairly new tarts to the growing collection. On the left is Vanilla Chai which just smells heavenly that I can't honestly wait to burn it! And on the right is my favourite candle scent ever! Salted Caramel just smells amazing and it isn't too sweet smelling either as there is a hint of salt.

Nails of the Week; BarryM Gelly || Blackberry ♥

It has been ages since I last showed you what was on my nails, and I will now be changing all of that! I love the pastels and neutrals in the summer, but I must say that I prefer the deep colours of the Autumn/Fall! This past week I have been wearing another BarryM Gelly in Blackberry! When I read the name and saw the colour I knew it didn't match - I think there is some confusion with the packaging but never the less... I still love it!

Just like any other Gelly polish; the formula is very thick so you either do one thick coat or two thin even layers and it gives you the perfect 'gel replica' nails! So glossy after two coats, I didn't feel the need to apply a top coat but I wanted them to last for a long time so I did and I am glad I did as they have lasted a whole week!! I fall in love with BarryM more and more each time I purchase something new.

The pictures on the top have been taken at different times of the day, I took the one on the left in this morning with no flash and the one on the right at night with the flash on. The colour is more of a deep, dark blue not a blackberry colour!

I may have also purchased a few more other BarryM nail varnishes when I picked this up!
