A Printed Jumpsuit for a lovely summer's day!

Okay, there is no doubt that I am in love with New Look. Every time I go in there, I just want to buy everything and for me there aren't a lot of stores that make me react like that! I want to be a lot of things, but my purse will have a hole in it by the end of the shopping trip; so I decided to do a wishlist of some of the things I would really like to have in my wardrobe for these next few months. This time round it is play suits. An item of clothing I have always wanted to wear, but never gone and got one because I am scared of how it looks like on me. The play suits I am about to show you, don't scare me because they actually look flattering and hopefully make me look nice!!

A Printed Jumpsuit for a lovely summer's day!
Picking play suits for this wishlist was a difficult job, there were so many I liked..these 4 stood out to me the most!

#1 The first is by far my favourite one of the lot! This very simple, yet elegant black embellished play suit is perfect for a night out! Whether it is just for a meal or even on a date, this is the best way to pull of that 'no effort look' as it just requires you to put this suit on and accessories with a silver clutch, bracelets and either flats, wedges or heels! Wearing something very simple like this; gives you the choice and element of freedom to dress it up how you want and allows you to wear it however you like! The collar at the top is also a great feature as it makes the outfit as a whole stand out. This can also be worn on a summers day for a lunch time date, as it is black. Making it suitable to wear whenever.

#2 Next up is this orange, patterned jump suit. This bright and bold orange colour makes it perfect for that summer day out! The print on this jump suit is amazing as it is different to something you would usually wear making it more eye-catching and different. My favourite thing about this one is the love heart cut out on the back, which gives you that element of something unusual, and makes it look super cute. This paired with a tanned coloured bag and wedges would complete your casual look.

#3 Anything floral has my name written all over it. A floral patterned t shirt, jumper, jeans or even jumpsuit just screams out girly and cute! The thing about floral is that everyone can make it work, and on a summers day it is your chance to jump out and wear something that is not only a pretty print, but is also a mix of bold and bright summery colours. This can be worn everyday and every night until you get sick of it; as it will never go out of fashion due to people always wanting to wear it.

#4 Finally, a jumpsuit that looks like a pretty blouse tucked into a pair of shorts. This is best for those of you that aren't ready to jump in the deep end with jumpsuits, if you start off with wearing this to see how a jumpsuit would look on you then you will defo go and buy another one! This pretty floral play suit looks so sophisticated and simple at the same time, that people will actually think you are wearing shorts! Great for a summer day out to do some shopping or even out for a meal, you can rock this all the time.

There are so many more play suits on the new look website and in store, it is just that these are my ultimate favourite choices to pick and choose from that I would personally wear if I were to buy my first play suit.

Starting Off; Skincare ♥

FINALLY!  Hello earthlings, today is the start of the 'TheSoProject' also know as 'The Starting Off Project'. Over the next 10 weeks, every Tuesday my self and loads of other bloggers will be posting everything that teens/ make up newbies need to know when starting off with make up. Everything from skincare to make up brushes, I have loved beauty related stuff for a while now and I wish when I first started going into the whole make up thing; there was a guide for me to read. So... here I am now helping you lot out there! To find out more about this project check out Steph's post (the mastermind behind all of this) over on here blog here.

Starting Off; Skincare

Writing this skincare post seems perfect for me at the moment, as I suffer from regular (mainly hormonal) breakouts on certain parts of my face a lot! August was a month that I set my self a goal to do whatever I can to clear most of it up. Just putting random face masks, and spot treatments on for one night won't instantly make a difference. It is always best to set your self a skincare routine; this doesn't have to be expensive nor does it have to be time consuming. Just remember that it is all worth it in the end.
Starting Off; Skincare

There is such a wide range and variety of skin care brands and products out there that can really help your skin to begin to clear up. One of the brands I love is Clean & Clear, I found this moisturiser in my local poundshop once a upon a time, and little did I know that it would become my best friend. I now religiously use this every night before going to bed to help with my acne, it feels very light - so you can also use it in the morning and it helps to combat and fight against those nasty spot and tightens up your pores. A small sizes amount of this goes very far!

Starting Off; Skincare

Next up is my holy grail skincare brand - Simple. This brand makes everything to suit your skin so that nothing makes it go funny, these wipes are my new discovery as they are exfoliating wipes. One side has a rough texture and the other is a smooth side to polish your face. I find that taking your make up off at night is the best feeling ever and these wipes make the job easier for you and leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh! Make sure that you always take your make up off before you sleep, your skin needs time to breathe.

Starting Off; Skincare

My final skincare newbie, is from the brand 'Witch' there products contain witch hazel which is a flower that is extracted into a substance so that it can be used in products to combat acne. There are several products in this range, and I really want to get my hands on them all as this beauty has really made a difference to my skin. The blemish stick is a solid gel stick that pops up like an ice lolly and allows you to rub it on the affected area and leaves no marks just a cool feeling.

I have found sticking to the same products for some time and doing it all regularly can really help you out. There is also help available where you can ask the professionals about your skin, whether this be a skin specialist / doctor or even these online advice questionnaires, where you answer questions and they find out about your skin type and what can help. Top 5 Summer Nail Polish Picks ♥

If you guys don’t know me by now then I love painting my nails, and the summer time is favourite to paint them because of all the bright and pastel colours. These are my top picks for the summer that I personally love wearing throughout the summer months they look great on their own and mixed together as a matter of fact. Majority of these have already featured on my blog, so I will link them down below.

Top 5 Summer Nail Polish Picks

First up is a colour that is not great for just summer, but for all year round. This is ‘Lychee’ from the gelly range that BarryM have bought out, all the colours in the range are amazing and because the nail polish is so thick you get this lovely shiny, gel like finish with and without a top coat. This colour looks amazing on its own and with a spot of glitter over it and it is that perfect no nail polish look. I can’t describe this colour; it is like a cream beige nude colour that is just well perfect.

Next up, is a new purchase from NYC. A brand that I go on and off purely because the first nail polish I got dried up and went all lumpy and I was really disappointed. This however has changed my expectations of the brand and has turned that frown upside down. This ‘Raindrop’ colour is a gorgeous blue colour that for me looks like the sky on a lovely summers day and I can’t stop starring and wearing it.

This is a little gem isn't it? MUA have just stolen my heart. There nail polishes are only £1 a pot and live up to the hype and the price in my opinion. This is my favourite of there nail polishes ‘Pistachio Ice Cream’ the name makes me hungry all the time as well. This is a lovely mint green colour which is slightly more pastel toned than other mints I have previously had and with two coats you get such a pretty colour on your nails.

Avon nail polishes are something that I don’t think get shouted out about lots, maybe because they are a magazine? Who knows! I love the colours and ‘viva pink’ is my favoruite of them all so far. This nail wear pro colour is such a exquisite deep pink colour that looks amazing on your nails all the time. With two coats and a top coat you get a lovely shine and finish that lasts for up to a week. The brush in these bottles is also really good because it covers your whole nail.

And last but not least, a sunshine coral. Maybelline have bought out so many amazing colours in their new colour show range and ‘coral craze’ has just ticked every box for me personally. The formula looks very watery but on your nail is it perfect and even with one coat you could get away with it but two just seal the deal. They last on my nails for more than a week and then it decides to slightly chip in corners but the colour is just the perfect peachy coral for the summer time.

The Urban Decay's Oz The Great And Powerful - Theodora Palette
This pallet represents the evil behind Oz and the people who created this palette really went for it and picked key colours that popped out as being evil!

The Urban Decay's Oz The Great And Powerful - Theodora Palette

I have used all these colours and they all turn out really well on the eye I like how I can use the darker shades of brown for the eyebrows and as well as a an eyeliner. All the colours have been given a specific name, the top left is called broken it’s a pale cream shade and is mainly used as a base this colour really helps set the other colours as it gives a clean base to work on and also if you want to go for the natural look this is the colour you want to use.

To the right of broken there is Beware now beware is a orangey brown shade this really blends in well with a darker shade as it helps bring out any eye colour.

The last one on the top row is called Beware this is a purpley brown coloured is probably my favourite one to use as the brown shade stands out well on my eye and if you have small eyes like mine it will do the same with yours

In the bottom right there is one of the duo colours which is called jealous I like using the shade jealous because you can use the lighter shade for your lid and the darker one for your crease and also this kind of a daytime colour because of the lightness so if you want to wear the colour at night use one of the shades of brown and it will give it a bold statement

Next to Jealous there is another duo colour which is called Spell which consists of a gold shimmer shadow and a black with glitter pigments these colours are really easy night out colours because lately most people have started to use dark shimmery colours because it blends in with the night and you will be able to see the colours pop more because they are darker

The last one on the bottom row is called West this is a dark shade of brown and I tend to use this for my brows as it fits my colour and blends in well you can also use it for the crease of your eye and blend it with a lighter shade this will really bring out your eye colour

With the palette you don’t just receive the eye shadows you also get a red supersaturated lip crayon I love this lip crayon because it moisturises your lips and gives them a great colour at the same time.

Plus as well as a lip crayon you also get a black liner crayon. What I like about the liner is it is soft and only needs one layer on and you get the full colour because you find some liners these days are hard and you need to apply them a few times for the full effect of the liner

As well as all the make up you receive a photo of Mila Kunis as Theodora and on the back there is a how to get the Theodora look I have tried to recreate this look and have been successful on the first try the steps are simple to follow and teach you where the colours work best on parts of your eyes.
