Dainty Doll Eye-shadow's 'Frankie Girl' & 'Teach Me Tiger' ♥

Hellooo! For a long time now, I have been debating whether or not to buy anything from the Dainty Doll range that Nicola Roberts launched for fair skin. I have dark skin, so I though maybe buying products for fair skin wouldn't suit me?! But I popped into good old Pound World... I was amazed! They had two of the eye-shadows from the range in store! I of course had to buy both, surprisingly they aren't actually that bad (considering I didn't know what colours I was buying!) x
This why I didn't know what colours they were, as they packed in a plastic bag as are all products they stock!

The packaging for the line are sooo cute! They are very professional and the cartoon on the front is uber cute!

The first is a eye shadow in shade '003 Teach Me Tiger' it is a wonderful orange/pink shade! I think it a gorgeous colour for this time of year and is defo suitable for any skin tone! As a added bonus there is also a mirror with the eye-shadow, making it easier to travel with!

The second is a eye-shadow base that I am really excited about using! This has such a smooth, creamy formula that I can't wait to start using it!

The lighting is awful, but you can kind of see both shades here!

I hope to purchase more Dainty Doll products in the future!

Rimmel Apocalips 'Apocalyptic' Review & Swatch ♥

This is something I am really, really excited about! The Rimmel Apocalips Lip lacquers have stormed into the beauty industry and have gone down a great treat! Every blogger has raved about them; and now it is my turn! I finally, purchased the shade 'Apocalyptic' and holy cow.. you guys it is the best thing ever.

First off,  the packaging is uber cute! I mean I love the element of a like 3D bottle! It's like an alien shape.. itf that makes sense.

The consistency of these products are amazing and is what impressed me the most. They are really sort of creamy and full coverage that they last all day!. The applicator has a little well in the centre that collects product so you can apply it with only one or two dips, meaning it uses less than a lipstick would and more than a lip gloss would.

'Apocalyptic' is such a deep pink colour, and the swatch you see on your hand is just how it is on your lips. They smell amazing as well, which is a added bonus! Hat's off to Rimmel!
They are so pigments though! I have a love hate relationship with lip products, because I find that many don't stay on long, yet are lovely colours and so on. So this product for me was a test, and it passed! I shall defo me buying more!

TeenTalkTuesday; DIY; Honey Face Mask ♥

Today I bring you a really simple, quick and easy DIY! I have heard a lot about the benefits of honey, and I thought that I would try out a honey face mask! All you need for this DIY is HONEY! You can also do this face mask and add different ingredients to it; such as... yoghurt, banana, apple, milk and cinnamon!

 Honey Face Mask

You can use whatever type of honey you like, whether it's raw, pure, natural! Whatever! Let me tell you some of the amazing wonders that honey can do!

Honey Face masks are hugely popular because of several skin benefits that honey offers. Honey as a basic ingredient in a facial mask helps to cure acne, scars, wounds, wrinkles and even dry skin.
Skin Benefits of Honey
- Honey has antibacterial properties, which helps in fighting acne and pimples. Honey reduces infection and is very effective home remedy to treat acne.
- Honey is also antiseptic. When honey is diluted with water, it produces hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is an antimicrobial agent and is used as a mild antiseptic. Honey is useful in treating cuts, wounds, and abrasions.
-Honey is a good cleanser for skin. It soak ups impurities from the pores of the skin, leaving your skin clear and clean.
-Honey is a very effective moisturizer for skin. It retains moisture making your skin radiant, soft and supple.
-Honey properties protect your skin under the sun and assist the skin to rejuvenate and stay young.
-Honey is a natural remedy to prevent wrinkles. Honey slows down the ageing process.

Now lets get started! First of all you want to tie your hair back, or clip it back so that nothing gets in the way of the honey!

You then want to apply a even layer of the honey to your skin, it is very sticky so be careful and apply it in a safe area that you can clean up any mess!

 Honey Face Mask

I leave it on for a good half an hour, so that my skin can soak up all the goodness and then I jump in the shower and wash it off! You can leave it on for a shorter amount of time if you wish, and you can also wash it off over the sink and then pat dry and apply moisturiser!

Hope you guys enjoyed this! For DIY's coming..!
