Summer Favourites

The beginning of September is here and its time to reflect on the summer that seems like its so long ago! I've loved the summer - its been great to relax, recharge and reset. I've also had a lot of time to waste money and spend money on myself! These are the products that I've loved..

Dermalogica Bio-Lumin Vitamin C Moisturiser*

I adore the entire Bio-Lumin range from Dermalogica and this moisturiser is no different. The addition to Vitamin C to my morning routine has worked wonders to the overall appearance of my skin. It is looking less dull and slowly but surely its working on my marks and fading the scars. I need to get the serum back into my life to give myself a power duo.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Light
Since receiving this in my mystery box, I have become obsessed! Its the perfect consistency to wear under makeup and gives my face the perfect base before makeup. I love that it has some SPF in it too as I always forgot to apply otherwise.

Facetheory Azeclear Serum
This is a product that I have been using for a while and just seeing the results now, its taking time but its getting there. Azelaic Acid is the strongest ingredient I think I have ever used on my skin and boy is it working wonders. I am really seeing a reduction in my breakouts, both hormonal and other spots.

Born this Way Matte Foundation
A newbie in my collection but one I am madly falling in love with. Gosh its taken my a long time to try anything foundation wise from Too Faced and nothing makes me more excited than a matte foundation for my horrendously oily skin. I love wearing this in hot days, humid days, even when I've been back at work. It gives me a gorgeous, flawless finish and lasts well throughout the day.

NYX Butter Gloss
When it comes to lip products NYX never do any wrong, they kill the game very time. I have never been disappointed with any of their products. The butter glosses are incredible. If you are looking for a gloss formula that will give you colour, shine and not feel heavy or stick then this is the one. It is honestly just like butter!

Cuticle Oil

As you may or may not know, getting my nails done is my favourite thing. I love sitting in the salon, talking away to the nail lady and watching the magic on my nails unfold. With having my nails done, comes a lot of aftercare to look after them and keep them in top shop. Using a cuticle oil on them every night (or when I remember) has made a huge difference to the overall health of them and I can't be without!

Charlotte Tilbury Cream Eyeshadows

I've banged on about these SO MUCH and I will continue until someone tries them! There isn't a bad thing to say about the little pots of wonder that Charlotte Tilbury has created. She's got my oily eyelids loving cream shadows that give off a beautiful sparkle, long lasting colour and come in an array of shades. I have a lot of pinks and hope to get more to give me more choice.

Live Tinted Huestick

Over the summer, I have really got into colour correcting. I never understood the importance and now I can't not do it, infact the other day I didn't and saw a huge difference in the overall appearance of my skin. The Huestick is designed by Deepica, who is a south asian woman with skin just like mine. She has created such a versatile product. This pen corrects, covers, can be used as blush, shadow and so much more!

Monica Vinader Rings*

Monica Vinader have launched a huge affiliate programme recently and I honestly didn't expect to be accepted but much to my surprise I was and I still can't believe it. I had the choice of being gifted items from their collection and went with two dainty, rose gold, gorgeous rings. These look perfect on their own and stacked on top of each other. They shine so much in the sunshine and when worn with a summery dress, they look perfect! You can get 20% off anything using the code MVINSIDER18-7364

As well as all the beauty and fashion, I've loved so much TV!

I've started watching The OC and am in love, the cast and story lines are just brilliant. A few bits came out on Netflix and Disney over the summer and most likely I have watched them in my spare time - I mean what else do you do when you're on holiday?

What have you loved in the summer?
