Beauty Lovers Gift Guide

This time of year is so exciting and I'm sure you have probably heard this a million times already but it is going so fast. Like, it is Christmas in less than a week! I know for sure that it has crept up on me without any warning. As far as gifting goes, I have just about bought everything with a couple of bits still on the list - just the wrapping to do. How are you going? This is a very last minute but one that I hope will help you buy gifts for those in your life who love a bit of beauty. There is everything from budget to high end.

Starting with the top of the budget, these are the most beautiful gift sets from Gatineau*, one of mine and my mum's favourite skincare brands for when we want a treat. They have so many Christmas collections you will be spoilt for choice. What I love about them the most, is that you are getting more inside than what you actually pay for. At the top of the photo above is the boxed giftset, that retails at £36 (currently on offer). It has their powerful cleansing cream that smells so sweet and delicious along with their enhancing gommage to brighten the skin. Then finally the cleansing brush to help rejuvenate the skin during the winter.

The DefiLIFT set retails for £77, a lot more expensive but well worth it. This is the set perfect for those in your life who are wanting to keep their skin healthy and firm. It has a eye cream, moisturiser and lip balm that promises to lift, nourish and for the lips - plump them up. Anyone would love to open this on the big day and see it all wrapped up in a gorgeous travel bag too. The other bag (white with gold detailing) is also filled with goodies. This retails for £77 and is the perfect Smoothing set. A bag of goodies that are customer favourites, the mask (which I have used from this set and loved). It is so hydrating on the skin and gives me such a lift - perfect before a party. Then we have their beauty cream which is a firm favourite and their expert serum which is so much fun to apply.

All these sets from them are great for anybody in your life that you really want to spoil and treat!
boots last minute gifts

Ted Baker Sets from Boots or even Boots 3 for 2 gifts in general are always a good shout. You can find some lovely presents for others as well as yourself! I love the TB sets because they are affordable and worthwhile, the Soap and Glory ones are just as fab! Popping into boots on Christmas Eve is the best, as there are still presents out on display so you are guaranteed to find something for someone. The 3 for 2 offer means you are getting more for your money, and who doesn't want to save at this time of year!

Sometimes, buying small more sentimental gifts are worthwhile. One or two of my friends have always said that they have wanted to try Fenty but never know where to start. After buying the lip stunners for myself (parents evening survival gift) I just had to buy them for other people. A great stocking filler too - under £20! I love the red and nude shade but the whole range in general is ideal for small gifts. There are also gifts sets of mini's which are sooo cute.

nivea gift set

I have loved Nivea since I was a little girl. They have basic, do the job products that never disappoint. Little did I know that they have gift sets too and at Christmas for people who are really hard to buy for / if you're doing secret Santa these are perfect. Most of their gifts seem to be available on Amazon and in Superdrug. This water bottle set for example is only £6 and is adorable. The little mini products come inside a water bottle - two gifts in one! There is a men's option and a ladies option for you to pick from.

Any bargain is a great Christmas present, I love popping into little shops near me to see what they have to offer. There is a Littlewoods Outlet near me who sell all different brands and products, such as this little Carvela number. I got this for my mum as she has been wanting a small, going out bag for so long and this is ideal. It was reduced from £65 to £22, I just hope she loves it.

If you are finding the pressure is piling up and getting more and more as the time gets closer, don't panic or worry. Make a list and write how much you want to spend for each person along with any ideas you have for them. Then do as many online orders as you can, its easier than going into the shops and then just tick things off once you've received them in the post.

Don't put too much pressure on yourself though, people are so stressed financially at this time of year but there is no need. Only do what you can and no more!

How are you feeling in the run up?
