Travel Makeup

When I'm writing this, its approximately 24 hours until I leave the UK and head off to the glorious Crete, sound the claxon! When you're reading this I'll be in Crete - how how time is flying by, packing my makeup has always been something I do right at the last minute.  As I'm going somewhere that is hot, a full face of heavy makeup isn't always necessary so this was all pretty easy to pack. Saying that, no doubt I'll shove 100 things in last minute.

Face

First up is primer, the tea tree one from TBS is my current favourite and its so small too, perfect for travelling. For foundation the L'Oreal True Match is my favourite thing to take away on holiday, its lightweight, dewy and perfect for day and night. Also, taking the Cushion Foundation with me because of how quick it is to apply and go. No doubt everything will slide off, so powder is a must! The Natural Collection Loose Powder is amazing and great to just dust over the t-zone and keep everything locked in.

I'm packing three palettes with me as well, both multi purpose and very handy to keep with me as they have mirrors in - praise the beauty gods! One is the Seventeen Contour Kit*, which I love to death, if you can't tell by the amount that is left. The contour shade is gorgeous and matches me perfectly. The Sleek Face Form is a new addition in my makeup bag but the fact that there's a blush, bronzer and highlighter in one little compact makes me super happy. Last but not least the Sleek Highlighting palette is coming with me because its so damn beautiful. Every shade is gorgeous and so long lasting, hoping that with a slight tan it will look stunning.

Eyes

I love wearing eye makeup but get so lazy at home even when I have all these gorgeous shades, So, the small Z-Palette filled with 9 gorgeous Makeup Shadows is coming along with me in the bid to use them as much as I can. Packing the Lash Sensational Mascara with me too, its very good at making your lashes look long and luxurious.

Lips

My favourite part of packing and just to note these five are in my makeup bag that is going in my suitcase, there seems to be another 5 in my liquids bag oops. If you know me well or read this blog regularly then you'll know that lip products are my weakness, narrowing them down to 2 is hard so I need 10 ok. Please don't judge me. The lip lineup includes the Maybelline Colour Sensational in Nude Embrace, from the mattes range - a gorgeous and creamy formula. Another Maybelline product in the lineup is the Colour Drama Lip Paint in Stripped Down, its a glossy yet long lasting formula that smells like cake! I've packed NYX Cannes with me for an evening nude because it lasts throughout eating food and the deeper toned pink looks stunning. NARS Chihuahua Lipgloss is my go to summer shade and on the lips makes your lips look better, its a non-sticky formula and  works great on top of other colours. As I was looking at the lip lineup carefully, I noticed that there were a lot of nude shades so to mix it up I added the Seventeen Mega Matte in Back to the Fuschia a deep pink that compliments my skin tone really well and the matte look is amazing!
