The AM | PM Routine Tag

The lovely Mollie from ModernMollie tagged me to do the AM| PM routine tag, I haven't taken part in a tag blog post in such a long time, this was the perfect time! So, thank you Mollie for tagging me, she's the cutest person - so check her out! 

I am more of a morning person and always have been, up early in the morning ready and showered everyday before everyone else. When it comes to the night time, my head will hit the pillow and I am out. If you like the idea of this tag, please take part and then let me know! 

The AM | PM Routine Tag


What is your morning beauty routine? 
I didn't have much of one before but now I am obsessed with skincare. I blame the legendary Caroline Hirons and her words of wisdom. I use the Garnier Pure Active Face Wash in the shower to save time, then follow it up with the Pixi Glow Tonic and a lathering of Cocoa Butter.

What’s for breakfast? 
A good old bowl of cereal. My body only functions if I have food in the morning, so matter what time it is. Crunchy Nut is my go to or recently I am loving Weetabix.

Coffee or tea? 
If I am in at 9am and have a full day then a coffee, milky too. But if its a normal day then tea always.

How long does it take to get out the door? 
It takes me an hour at least to do everything, I hate been late so I would rather get up earlier and be ready before I have to leave then wake up later. I love faffing in the morning, takes me forever.

What is your go-to makeup look on a fuss-free morning?
My menu for the morning is usually, moisturiser, a quick layer of foundation, powder and highlighter. Its fuss free for me and easy to apply. 


What is your evening beauty routine? 
This changes depending on the state of my skin! It always starts with Garnier Micellar Water, followed by the Una Brennan Cleanser. When my skin is awful I use a spray of the Serozinc and the Pixi Glow Tonic on other days to give it a gorgeous glow. Followed by Rose Hip Oil that has been helping with the dry skin and my acne scars and finally the Eloquence Eye Gel!  

Snack time! What’s in the bowl? 
At the moment I am loving having fruit! Berries are my favourite to munch on! 

How do you wind down and prep for bed?
I have really got into reading before bed, my current read is Me Before You! The cutest book and soon to come out, film as well! I also have to scroll through instagram and twitter, its like reading the news. 

Cozy up! What are you wearing to sleep?
I am a pyjama's lover. At the moment I am wearing ones from good old Primark - thin and easy to sleep in when the night is hot.

What are some things you must do before hitting in the hay? 
I have to brush my teeth, can't even fathom the thought of waking up with the day before's food in my mouth - ew.
