Blogmas Day 7 || What's in my Handbag? ♥

I don’t know how I have managed to be on this blog for over a year and not posted a what’s in my handbag post! I guess the main reason is because I am always switching up the bags I use, therefore if I was to post the contents it would change the next week! However, I have now found a bag that I will be using all the time and the stuff inside is there to stay!
What's in my Handbag

This is my most used handbag, it is from Store Twenty one and was reduced from £15 to £12! I loved the trapezium shape as well as the gold studded detail along the front. If it appears small on screen then I apologise as looking at it with your own eyes – it is huge! Well, I say big but not for me as I like to have a big bag as I put my whole bedroom in it! Inside is even bigger with two pockets and a zip one so even more room than you will ever need!
Let’s start with what is in my bag!
What's in my Handbag

Purse – This is a very old purse from Primark that I got last summer and haven’t stopped using since, it is the perfect size to fit everything in accordingly and has such a pretty pattern. I have been meaning to replace it but I just haven’t found the perfect one to get in replacement.
Compact Mirror – Again another purchase from Primark that I hauled a few months back it does the job and nothing else really. The sparkly pink top lifts to reveal two mirrors, a small one and a zoomed in one which scares me every time I open it.
Notebook* – My mind is always on the go so I have now started to carry around a notebook with me and even though this is big I love using it. This is from Little Birds and you can find out more about it here.
Deodorant + Hand Food – these two come with me wherever my travels take me. I have to have spray with me all the time for those sweaty situations and of course my trustworthy hand cream from soap and glory which tackles my dry hands.
Ipod + Headphones – When in the car I love listening to music or even playing different games which can become an addiction after a few hours. These headphones are perfect for my weird ears that don’t like to have anything it them. I bought them in the cash and carry for really cheap and love them.
Phone – This isn’t pictured as I use it to take my pictures but I have to of course have my life with me all the time because everything happens on that little device.
Makeup Bag – every girl must needed items in one place. I thought as I have a big bag I might as well but all the beauty related items in one bag so that they are all together. Instead of writing each thing out I took a picture and labelled it all down below after newly teaching myself something on Photoshop.

Blogmas Day 4|| Confessions of a Beauty blogger ♥

The lovely Della from DellaLovesNutella, tagged me to do the confessions of a beauty blogger tag..so here goes!
1)      How many hours a week do you spend writing/editing posts?
I spend my Friday nights and Saturday mornings writing blog posts, its when I feel the  most relaxed. I would say it take me no longer than 10 minutes to edit and then 45 minutes to write…some posts are very long ones so they take longer to write!
2)      Are you a spender or saver?
I am both if that counts?! I love to spend money on things, usually only the things I am running out of however since becoming a blogger I have found that I spend more on new releases or raved about products than anything else!
3)      When is it easier to blog?
Like I said before, when I am relaxed and in the zone. I never force myself to blog because I want to enjoy it, if I put the time into making them enjoyable then hopefully you will all enjoy them and read them!
4)      What makes writing behind a computer so comfortable for you?
I feel in my element. I am writing about something that I love and that I enjoy writing about therefore using my interest and skill of writing I combined the two.
5)      What is your worst make up/hair habit?
Ooh, I always have a tendency to scrunch my hair up with my hands when it is up to seem as though I am adding volume. Once I do this in the day for the first time I am off.
6)      What is one quote you wished the world lived by?
I love the quote’ Don’t let anyone dull you sparkle’ Not only does it sound uber cute but it also shows you that no matter what people might think or say you are your own person and being judged isn’t a bad thing – they are just jealous.
7)      How long do you spend getting ready everyday?
No longer than 45 minutes in a morning as I wake up and before I know I am out of the door.
8)      Who are your favourite bloggers?
I love reading Della’s blog and her name is so pretty as well as the recipe for hot chocolate she posted. I also love the usual ones like Tanya Burr and Fleur!
9)      Who is a blogger that deserves more subscribers?
There are so many amazing blogs out there that I cant pick!
10)   What is one thing you are excited about in the upcoming year?
I am looking forward to nothing, in the sense that I am looking forward to whatever life is going to bring me next. What it wishes to do is up to it and I will take on a challenge.
11)   What is your most awkward blogging moment?
No clue about this…yet to experience one. I think spellings are usually the awkward one.
12)   How long does it take you to prepare a post?
Not long to prepare, once I am in the blogging mood my fingers start typing and something comes out that eventually makes sense.
13)   Are you wearing trousers right now or jogging/pj bottoms?
Jogging bottoms – they are the cosiest things in my life at the moment. They go with everything and anything and are just great.
14)   What are you most proud of in your life?
It sounds right cheesy but this blog – it is something that I never thought I would achieve or even carry out this long. I nurture it and look after it like a pet or child and love the chances it has given me.

Blogmas Day 3 || Mini Superdrug Haul ♥

The 3 for 2 currently on at Superdrug/Boots is not good for my bank balance at all..I seem to always pop in after school and come with something..today's blogmas post is a haul of all the things I have bought from Superdrug starting with October to now as I haven't had a chance.
 Superdrug Haul
First of all I bought two new polishes from BarryM, the one on the left is 'Raspberry' and the other is new release 'Berry Cosmo' both are such lovely winter colours and look amazing with some glitter or sparkle on top. The huge lipgloss is from MUA in 'Buff' this is one of there out there pumping lip glosses and I love wearing it because it is such a lovely nude colour. Amazing for everyday wear. The white lip stick is also from MUA as part of their new matte range and this is in 'Wild Berry' I haven't stopped wearing this colour, I love how pinky it looks on my lips and how long it last as it is a matte finish.

Also from MUA I picked up these goodies! First is another lip gloss this is in 'Kiss and Tell' bought after Khila from MissBudgetBeauty bought it and it looks amazing on her.. so I thought I would give it a go. I also bought this eye duo, the felt tip eyeliner which will hopefully help me with eyeliner application and their basic black mascara. I got a cheap one because I don't wear it very often; so spending so much money on one is silly.

And that is it! Hope you enjoyed it :)

Blogmas Day 2 || Night Time Skincare ♥

To be fairly honest, only recently have I started sticking and following through with a strict night time skincare routine. Without fail every night I used to just use make up wipes, then I converted and started doing the full works so that I knew that my skin was getting a through clean.
Night Time Skincare

I start off first with these ‘Tea Tree Facial Cleansing Wipes’ which removes all the makeup from my face with one wipe and assures me that even sleeping like this is still okay. If I am wearing any eye make up then these smaller compact makeup remover pads come out of the draw as they are amazing! One wipe thoroughly takes off all my primer, shadow and even waterproof mascara – great!

After wiping everything off I then use a facial wash from simple, this brand for me is the best when it comes to washes because they are made for sensitive skin and doesn’t react with me. After washing and patting dry, I follow up with a moisturiser that I am running out of. This clean and clear one is very old packaging but does the job perfectly...it targets break outs and helps to reduce the redness overnight – genius.

My skin in winter gets really dry and after using endless moisturisers I have finally found something that works like a charm. This ESPA serum that I blogged about a few weeks ago is just the bomb, I use it every night on my cheeks and nose to help with the dry, flaky skin. Not lying that this thing is amazing, I have seen such a difference in not only the dryness of my skin but also the brightness of it!

As for ‘treatments’ I always go towards this eye roll on from Q10 for under the eyes, the cool metal roller ball helps to target the puffiness and the liquid that come out of it really helps with my dark circles as they get pretty bad when I don’t get enough sleep. Finally, if I have any upcoming spots or really ugly ones then I use this tea tree post stick that comes with a doffer application and apply it all over the place. When I wake up I can see such an improvement.
