June Favourites
Primark Oil Control Wipes// I seem to always go back to Primark wipes because they seem to do the job perfectly, these oil balancing ones are amazing and the other ones I love are the exfoliating ones. Every time you got to Primark and go to the till make sure you check out their wipes there is a whole selection and for £1 who can go wrong!
Victoria Secrets Strawberries & Champagne Mist // Summer fragrance right her ladies and gents. This is such a sweet and summery scent that you don't get sick of smelling it. The name is also very appropriate for this time of year and VS mists feel so luxury on you.
Revlon Lacquer Balm in Vivacious // Spoken about these Revlon balms a lot on here, so I am going to keep it short and sweet. Wearing a bright pink lip with bronzed skin and neutral eyes will look amazing in the summer sunshine and this one from Revlon is the perfect pink and the formula is very glossy.
Benefit Porefressional Primer// I got this sample in Elle magazine and haven't stopped using it. Why? Well because along with my moisturiser it works wonder in keeping my makeup on my face all day and I know that its on my face without looking in the mirror constantly.
Rimmel Salon Pro in Hip Hop// A summer staple for me has always been a coral/red nail polish colour because it looks great with anything as well as being one of those polishes that can be worn on fingers and toes. The formula of these Salon Pro things are amazing and worth the rave.
Rimmel Breakfast in Bed// To say I wasn't really a Rimmel girl, lately I have been hooked on buying things from them and this is another nail polish that started it all off. After seeing several people posting it on instagram, I had to try it for myself I am so glad the colour is the perfect minty blue for the summer and with one coat you are good to go.
Macaroons by Lulu// I picked these up in Manchester and have been eating them slowly every week, I bought a few and these are my final ones and I am saving them.

NOTD|| Avon Gel Finish Nail Enamel in Lavender Sky

 Avon Gel Finish Nail Enamel in Lavender Sky

I get the Avon magazine every two weeks and always stop my self from buying anything as I don't want to spend a fortune on things that I can't really return straight away. One of the things that I didn't hestiate from buying were their new nail polishes called the 'Avon Gel Finish Nail Enamel'
They Claim;
High impact nail colour with a gel like finish without a UV lamp.Base coat, protection, shine, colour and top coat, all in one nail polish.Strengthens nails by up to 42%.Comes off with normal nail vanish remover
 Avon Gel Finish Nail Enamel in Lavender Sky

Why Thoughts;
I agree with every single word. This stuff is amazing! As soon as I applied one coat I fell in love, with one coat I achieved the look above! ONE COAT. THAT IS ALL. How amazing is that, the formula is so gel like and glossy and I prefer the formula of this over the BarryM ones because this is so much thinner and applies evenly within one coat. It has also lasted me a whole week, there are a few chips that have started to appear but it hasn't bothered my as much as I thought it would! The colour is just stunning and perfect for this time of year and I think I will buying more from the range because they are great value for money!

They retail at £7 each which is a bit of stretch for me, to be honest...but on offer currently at £3.50 you cannot go wrong at all! I am sure these are new, but don't know as they seem to have been realised before as well as this summer...but no worries still love them!

Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover|| Review+Demo

Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover
This Magic Nail Polish Remover has been a favourite of many people for quite some time now, and I didn't really know what all the hype was about until now. This thing is amazing, and has changed the way I now remove my nail polish. You have all probably heard what it does and why it is so great, so I will just tell you briefly. Basically, all you have to do is put your finger inside the bottle, wiggle it around and then magically it takes off any polish you have on your nails!
Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover
The sponge inside is soaked with remover, so you don't have to go through a million cotton pads when removing nail polish. I find that it doesn't work as well for glitter, even though it does help slightly with the removal.

Here are the before and after shots! You can see that all the polish has been removed from my fingers and it took me less than five minutes in total! Amazing!

The Essentials|| A Nail Addict

Yes. That is right. I am a nail addict and I will openly admit to it! It has been something that I have lived with for a few years now, and today's post is what I think every nail addict/lover should have!
The Tools

The Essentials|| A Nail Addict

Avon Machine// This machine is the best thing in my life, my grandma bought me this at Christmas from Avon I believe and I love all the nifty little things it can do! They use a similar machine to this is the nail salons, but this is a cheaper alternative.
Nail File*// Well isn't this a obvious one! I love the Healthy Nails one at the moment because it is great to get the exact shape you want. You can read a full review here.
Buffer// These cuboid buffers are great to get that smooth nail surface, that makes applying your nail polish easier as you are getting rid of any bumps and the uneven surface.
Orange Stick+Cuticle Cream// These two things work together, by massaging your cuticles and pushing them back as often as you can, you are really helping your nails with growing in length and looks much better when they aren't there.
Nail Scissors// These ones from Model's Own are my favourite because they are shaped in such a way that it makes it easier to cut your finger!
The In-between Step!
This is what I like to call the 'in between' step because it is the optional step.
Nail Wheels// I love these! They are from Amazon, and cost nearly nothing as well as coming in packs of 10. They are great to test out nail colours before you paint them on your nails to see whether you like them or not.
Cuticle Oil// Even though cuticle oil is great for your nails, I don't think it is the most needed step because your nails can live without it and you can use alternatives like a cream, or even plain olive oil!
The Finale!

Elegant Touch Spray// Full Review Here This IS BLOOD AMAZING! I do apologise for the caps and my language, but this spray is my life saver and you will be converted when you try it! I love using it because it dries my nails uber quickly and I can do anything after painting them!
Remover// I have only recently discovered this product and will have a review up in a few days. But this pot of remover is amazing. All you have to do is put your finger in the pot, move it around a little and then viola! Your polish has disappeared!
Top Coat// Everyone has their own preference when it comes to top coats, but for me I like one that shiny and makes my nails look really gel like and lasts a long time. This one is from Nails Inc and I love it because it lasts a long time and the formula is grrreat!

The Spring Edit|Nails

The Spring Edit|Nails

The sun has been making a few little appearances over the past few weeks and to me that means one thing, SPRING! I love the spring time because of the beautiful flowers that start to grow, the brighter and hopefully sunnier days and it's just a fresh change from the gloomy winter days! Spring time means some gorgeous nail polish colours that look beautiful on you. Most of these are pastel colours as I find them perfect for spring and then when you get into the summer, you have your more bright pinks and coral colours.
The Spring Edit|Nails

Essie Cascade Cool -
This is an all time favourite, I love wearing this as it is very cool toned and not to in your face pink. The formula of Essie polishes are amazing and this is the shade that started my obsession off.
Sally Hansen Good To Grape -
A poundland beauty, this polish is for someone who doesn't like wearing pastels or still wants to have colour on their nails without it being too dark. One coat of this polish and you are good to go, great formula and colour that lasts ages!
L'oreal - Pistachio Drag -
I'm confused whether this is called Drag or Drag as everywhere has it different even the bottle! Since, seeing these on other blogs a few weeks about I just had to try one of the colours out and I went with the mint green colour because it is my favourite shade to wear in the spring time and I have it in so many different tones. Never used a L'oreal polish before and this so far has not disappointed me.
BarryM Rose Hip-
One that has been on my blog already, Rose Hip is the prettiest off white/pastel pink there is. It doesn't look too washed out and dreadful on your nails instead makes them look pretty and pink. Love the Gelly's from BarryM as you all know well, and this is another to add to my constantly growing collection.
BarryM Huckleberry -
This polish along with Rose Hip and another I don't own are colours that BarryM secretly came out with a few weeks ago, and to be honest are amazing. This baby blue colour is gorgeous and perfect for the spring time, I know ice cream colours were last year but I think they are adorable!

Fresh Therapies Remover+Wipes||Review

fresh therapies

I paint my nails alot, and sometime they can get really tired and weak because of the nail polish and the acetone that I put on them. Even though I leave them to rest every once in a while, they still look weak and cracked. So, when I came across Fresh Therapies I was amazed that you can create nail polish remover and wipes that are natural and kind to your skin and nails. I put the Natural Nail Polish Remover* and the Replenishing Wipes* to the test to see how they work and if they beg to differ from normal remover. The wipes and remover both have hints of lime and that hits you straight away when you start to use them. Neither of these products harm your nails as all the ingredients are natural and fresh, doing no harm to the body and perfect with those like me with sensitive skin or even ill or pregnant.

Before and After. Nails; BarryM Guava

I used the wipes and remover on one hand, but split the usage up between my fingers. I found the wipes much easier to use than the remover because it was already soaked in the remover. These wipes would be great for travelling as well, as you don't have to carry everything around with you. The packet says that the wipe is suitable for all 10 fingers and I think it would just stretch to all of them, if you have a dark nail polish on or one that is likely to stain then it does need a real good scrub. The remover is equally as good, is removes the nail polish off your nails and leaves your nails feeling amazing.

If you are wanting something to remove your nail polish that is quick and easy then these products are definitely for you!

Elegant Touch Nail Spray|| Review

Elegant Touch Nail SprayElegant Touch Nail Spray

A few weeks back I went to Superdrug and found this Elegant Touch Rapid Dry Nail Spray and after reading the front of the bottle I just had to buy it. It claims to dry your nails in 60 seconds and conditions your nails with Vitamin E, this is perfect for any girl like me who loves to paint her nails but cannot sit still to wait for them to dry without doing anything. I was amazed at the fact that this is a spray that dries your nails, unlike a top coat that also claims to dry your nails really quickly.
I love it because it doesn't smell at all and you don't need to wash it off afterwards, all you do is spray it onto your nails from a 10cm distance and then I recommend to let it sit for a while until it dries for about 60-90 seconds. The only thing is the that it leaves a oily residue on your nails, but not worry just rub it in to your cuticles and then you are conditioning your nails at the same time!
I honestly can't find the words to describe how amazing this product is, if you happen to pop into boots or superdrug then pick a bottle of this stuff up for around £3 because it is life changing!

New Year's Eve Nails || Nude Sparkle ♥

Seen as thought its the end of year, and new years eve is tomorrow...I decided to add some sparkle onto my nails! If the rest of me is a mess I do not care - as long as my nails look good I am a very happy girl! Instead of just having my stand accent nail or applying glitter all over. I decided to step out of my usual zone and attempted a glitter gradient..and here are the results.
New Year's Eve Nails || Nude Sparkle
I love the way that it has turned out, I used the Colourworks Glitter on top first to build up the gradient and then used the barrym one. Having small and big glitters in this bottle made it so much easier to use and I didn't use any sponges or anything fancy! Easy as pie!

I decided to paint all my nails with the Rimmel red and then the ring finger with white and a Rudolph on my ring finger, I did it in such a messy way that I really didn't want to take pictures of it all step by step..I follow this tutorial from MissJenFABULOUS!

Nails of the Week; BarryM Gelly || Blackberry ♥

It has been ages since I last showed you what was on my nails, and I will now be changing all of that! I love the pastels and neutrals in the summer, but I must say that I prefer the deep colours of the Autumn/Fall! This past week I have been wearing another BarryM Gelly in Blackberry! When I read the name and saw the colour I knew it didn't match - I think there is some confusion with the packaging but never the less... I still love it!

Just like any other Gelly polish; the formula is very thick so you either do one thick coat or two thin even layers and it gives you the perfect 'gel replica' nails! So glossy after two coats, I didn't feel the need to apply a top coat but I wanted them to last for a long time so I did and I am glad I did as they have lasted a whole week!! I fall in love with BarryM more and more each time I purchase something new.
BarryM Gelly Blackberry

The pictures on the top have been taken at different times of the day, I took the one on the left in this morning with no flash and the one on the right at night with the flash on. The colour is more of a deep, dark blue not a blackberry colour!

I may have also purchased a few more other BarryM nail varnishes when I picked this up!

Next up is this 'Rituals Nail Polish Corrector Pen' and I have very mixed thoughts about this, only because I used to have one of these and it failed on me, hopefully this will change my thoughts and do it's job. This is great though for when you are in a rush and need a quick fix, plus I always smudge and ruin my nails so this will hopefully be my god send.

On the left is I'Notting Hil Gate' which is a great vibrant pink colour for the summer time and looks so pretty with the butter london polish. And on the right is the 'Kensington Caviar Top Coat' which I have been wanting to try forever and ever due to meaning to give you that glossy gel like finish.

This box is amazing, and for only £15! But I am afraid that the box has gone again, I would still sign up to Latest In Beauty because they have some other amazing boxes!

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee' - Review & Swatches ♥

I love buying nail polishes, whatever chance I have I always have to buy one! Today I bring you a review of one of the BarryM Gelly's; when this range came out I was so excited and I am slowly building up a small collection! I started off with buying the Gelly in 'Blueberry' which you can read here. And then bought 'Lychee' because I was really attracted to the colour - I was worried about purchasing it, as I didn't know what it would look like on a dark skin tone ... but I love it!

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

I adore bottles that have a cute packaging as it looks great when it is on display in my stand, and this bottle is very sleek. The silver metal lid, is different to all other BarryM polishes they have which gives it this unique look. And I love the fact that they categorize their nail polishes my the bottle loo.

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

All the colours in the range are really nice and lovely for the summer colour! This is 'Lychee' my go to nude polish! I think that this is the perfect nude for that natural, no look, it looks subtle and looks great on every skin tone!
BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

As far as Application goes..I really didn't find it difficult! This is a very thick and cream nail polish which gives you that glossy finish. Now only if it is applied in thin coats, can you get that shiny and glossy finish!I applied one thin coat and waited for that to completely dry before adding the second coat as I didn't want any unevenness.  I also found that I had to really be careful with the amount of polish that I put on my brush, other wise it would all collect on my nail.
BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

Overall, I am in love with this polish! It is so glossy and lovely and a perfect warm nude tones colour. I finished it off with a glitter accent..this is The Colour Workshop in 'Silver Streak' it is a very fine glitter and I love it!

Have you got any Gelly polishes? If so what colour's would you recommend!
