Welcome to the final part of this spring series! I have had so much fun putting together beauty, skincare and now fashion. I'm hoping to do one in the summer too and then the rest of the seasons because why not. This seasons trends are bit everywhere, I can't seem to quite understand them but these outfits follow some of the things that are big now or will be big as the months go on this year. Spring is all about dressing pretty, flowery and having clothes that feel light and very floaty - if that makes sense. Whether this be a maxi skirt, custom vest tops or even sandals.

The Last Leg
Tuesday, May 1
I was so torn between calling this post 'The Last Leg' or 'The Final Countdown', but I immediately burst out into song! Trust me, you do not want to hear that. I went with the first option in the end as it works a little better with what this post is about. I am bringing you this blog post today in collaboration with Adexe, a brand that specialise in creating gorgeous watches that are perfect for every occasion, my upcoming occasion being graduation.
Smart Yet Casual
Thursday, March 22
One thing I can't be without on my wrist is a watch, everyday, no matter what occasion I just have to have one. I feel almost 'naked' without one! My wardrobe at the moment has been very smart but still quite casual, I hate dressing up too much so go with clothes that are comfortable yet smart looking. This outfit ahs been one of my favourites for a while now and the addition of the watch makes it all the more better!
Female Icons Who Transformed Fashion
Monday, March 12
We all take style inspiration from different sources. Everything from politics and culture, to fame and the media has the power to change what we wear — but who are the female icons that have truly transformed how we dress?
Pinpointing the moment a style leapt from the side-lines into mainstream fashion is near impossible. However, sometimes, all it takes is the drive and power of a single female icon to create a revolution. Check out the leading women fashion influencers and find out how to bring their iconic trends into 2018.

Winter to Spring Fashion
Tuesday, February 20
I don't know about anyone else but I am finding it really hard at the moment to know what to wear. One day its sunny the next its snowing (no joke) but I finally have some key pieces in my wardrobe. These pieces are going to be perfect for taking my style from winter to spring without having to invest in a whole new wardrobe. They also aren't that expensive and can be worn so many different ways I will be living in the same outfits for the next few months.
It's Not About What You Look Like
Thursday, January 25
I don't tend to write or speak out loud about many issues, but it is something that I want to start doing and what better time than the new year. I have wrote, deleted and rewrote this introduction so many times but I think the best way is to just go for it.
My whole life I have always been the minority, different religion, race and colour. Has it ever bothered me? No. Does it stop me from me being me? No. But it is so hurtful when you see people using things like this against you or other people of a different race. I love watching Deepica Mutyala on YouTube, she is such a great and positive women who spreads love and joy (and who is killing it at the moment!!!) This post is inspired by her xx

Tuesday, January 23

Sometimes they might all be beauty, sometimes a little bit of everything but hopefully it gives me a chance to share everything that I am loving that moment in time. This month I have more lifestyle favourites then everything else, I have so many things that I am trying at the moment - its hard to choose just a few things!

The Office Party Look
Saturday, December 2

A Smile for Christmas with Janina
Thursday, November 30
No word of a lie, I love to smile. Not only does it fill the room with love, laughing burns calories and it just puts other people at ease espcially if you don't know them. This festive season I have teamed with Janina, to share my tips on how to get a whiter smile in the comfort of your own home without harming or abusing your teeth. It is so easy to fall for the ads that claim to give you white teeth but just do more harm then good.

Being The Girl Who Goes For It
Saturday, September 23
''The past is your lesson. The present is your gift and the future is your motivation.'' Who doesn't love a good quote? I think that just reading something really motivating can change your whole mood, day or even the task you have at hand. I love positive thinking and everything that comes with it, a firm believer that what you aim/strive for is what you get and in life even though you get obstacles, never give up. This academic year (new year, new goals) I am going to become the girl who just goes for it, saying yes even when I'm nervous and saying no when it doesn't feel right.
Day to Night Outfits
Tuesday, September 19
As I head back to uni this weekend, it is time to sort my wardrobe! I hate having to choose which clothes to keep at home and which to take, not because I have so many but more because I don't ever seem to have enough in one place. There is always something at home that I had wish I had with me over there and vice versa. The struggles of living in two places is very much real and a real pain too! I tend to go for outfits that I can wear both in the daytime for a lecture and then in the evening, whether its for a meal or even a late night shop. Here are three of my favourite outfits perfect to wear whenever, wherever featuring some stunning pieces from Tobi ❤
Making the Most of Summer
Tuesday, September 5
Even though I love everything that comes with Autumn, nothing can beat the clothes in summer. Floral prints, dresses and skirts - it is all my favourite and even now as we come into September I am still living and breathing in my summer wardrobe and hope to drag it out as long as possible. Last bank holiday weekend, I went to Germany for a short city break. Packing for this was really difficult as I don't know what quite to expect, but one fail safe option that came with me was a maxi dress.
Maxi dresses have become popular to wear not only in the evenings but also everyday too. From a night out in the city to the beach as a cover up, they are so easy to wear and style. The main benefit of this trend is that a max dress, without a doubt looks very feminine and classy. Take this maxi dress from Very for example, it couldn't be anymore perfect.
The dress has a chevron pattern going all the way down and this is a creative pattern that can spice up any summer look. The widening of the stripes might seem daunting at first as it is quite eye catching but it means you don't have to put much effort into styling it up. I've kept it very simple as the dress is the main attraction. Majority of my wardrobe is monochrome and no matter how hard I try to adjust, I always come back to it and this is the main reason why I love this dress. The chevron is monochrome, but then you have a pop of orange going through that just makes the dress stand out even more. It isn't a neon orange either, so very flattering on everyone.
The tan wedges are actually from George at Asda a few years back, they lace up and work perfectly with this maxi and so many more outfits in my wardrobe. They are also very, very comfortable to wear even after walking around for the whole day. I wish that I had a denim jacket to pair with it as that would look perfect, but a leather jacket looks just as good and is the perfect way to style the dress up for the evening. Adding a jacket and some boots would also work really well in the winter, making sure the dress isn't hung up and worn well!
I haven't stopped wearing this dress since having it in my wardrobe and so many compliments on it too!
Style on a Budget
Thursday, August 24
Today we are talking all about student style, as a student I have two moods. The lazy mood where I will throw the first thing I see on, then the effort mood, where I put thought into my outtfit and make sure I look the part. Dressing as a student doesn't have to be difficult and to make it easier PrettyLittleThing have a dedicated page on their site for every outfit you ever need. Both of these can be worn so many different ways and are perfect to take you from summer to winter.
Thanks to the lovely Laura from Laura Haley Photography, we have lots of outfit posts coming up and I hope that this is the start for them being more frequent and of high quality. Do you remember the days where mirror pictures were on my blog - gone were those days and here come the professional ones. Laura is the best to shoot with if you are around the Leeds area, she is so accomodating and comfortable to be around. Check out her facebook page here!

Has Social Media Redefined The Fashion Industry?
Wednesday, August 9
In recent years, in the worlds of music and fashion, ‘likes’ have become essential to a clothing brand’s or artist’s overall success. When users like or comment on an image, this is now what solidifies the success of a campaign, as opposed to gaining exposure through traditional methods such as billboards and television advertisements. Together with Trilogy Stores, retailers of designer cropped jeans, we investigate how and why social media is having such a significant impact on the world of fashion:
Dressing For In-between Weather
Saturday, July 29
Guess who finally has an outfit post, this girl!!! I have loved doing these more often, they really allow me to put together some outfits that represent me and what I'm all about. Each post I put up has been carefully thought out and planned so that it what I wear all the time, rather than something random. This time round, I shot with the lovely Laura from Laura Haley Photographer. Being a blogger herself, Laura knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel so comfortable. We had the perfect weather and some gorgeous locations, I can't wait for you to see the rest and for me to work with her again! You can follow her on facebook, twitter and instagram via the following links.
In today's post we are talking all about ways to dress in this awful inbetween weather, by this I mean when its sunny one minute and raining the next. Its hard to know what to wear in the morning because you can't judge anything!
June Favourites Collab with NishiV
Monday, July 3
It sounds cliche but I honestly can't believe that June is over. Along with October it is one of my favourite months in the year, not only is it my birthday month but it's the start of summer (its currently raining) and the time to start afresh and get ready for what is to come for the next half of the year. To celebrate my love of the month, I thought of doing a monthly favourites post, these don't appear on here very often because I use the same things all the time. However, this month I have been loving new products and have slowly become obessed with them.
For this monthly favourites post, I have collaborated with the wonderful Nishi from NishiV her birthday was also in June, we were basically destined to become friends. You can read Nishi's post over on her blog and leave her some love too!
Turning 20
Tuesday, June 13
Today, the 13th June, I turn 20! So long teenage years and hello 'adult life'. I'm the last in all of my friends to turn this grand old age, feels like a long time coming. I am actually spending my birthday in school, as I am currently on placement. So teaching, like I will be doing (hopefully) for the rest of my life. I've never had a rest on my birthday, for as long as I can remember, its either been during exam season or I've been working/at school. Its not a bad thing, as I never quite know what to do with myself apart from shop and eat. Sounds ideal!
In celebration of turning 20, here are 20 things you may not know about me/things I have learnt over the years. Claire also tagged me to do the Blue Sky Tag and it has taken me so long to do it, so here are my answers, they are intwetwined within.
Summer Work Wardrobe
Thursday, June 1
Happy June Everyone! Can you believe we are half way through the year? This is a very exciting month indeed because its someones birthday! Hopefully, this is also the month that we see more of the sun and not just for a few days but most of the month. When the sun is it out, it makes all the difference, people are happier, the day goes by quicker but there is one issue that is a constant battle - the wardrobe. What do you wear to work that isn't going to be too revealing but keep you cool?
