Irresistible Me Diamond Hair Styler Review

Having gorgeous straight hair is something that we all strive for, for me it takes a lot of time, effort and money. The hair gods blessed me with thick, black hair and up to the age of 13 very, very straight hair. So straight that I never had to use straighteners and curls just wouldn't stay put.
Then, as time has gone by its started to go more on the wavy side - which I personally prefer. It gives my hair some texture, movement and allows me to do different styles without it falling out within minutes. When it comes to going to work and looking professional, I love having that silky, soft, straight hair look. It looks so much better and nothing can beat it!

FORZA Stir It Slim Caramel Latte Review

I'm currently writing this post in the garden, sweating away my body weight. Safe to say this weather in the UK is amazing and the longer it lasts the better because I love summer - it is July after all. Yet, no matter how hot it is outside I always have a cup of something hot.

Its odd because you'd think I'd want a cold drink in warm weather, but I'm quite the opposite? These past two weeks I have been trying the Forza Stir it Slim Meal Replacements in Caramel Latte*

Jamie's Italian Leeds Review

There are so many places to eat in Leeds that it really is quite amazing. You can go down any street and for sure you will find a restaurant to suit your cravings. Last week, my family and I headed to Jamie's Italian in Leeds on Park Row for a lovely evening meal.
The restaurant is tucked in the corner, 5 minutes away from the train station and is an old bank that has been converted into this gorgeous, rustic restaurant.

Caudalie Radiance Serum Review

Caudalíe is fast becoming one of my favourite skincare brands, the sorbet moisturiser (full post here) is my holy grail and at the moment when its hot outside it seems to be working really well. Not too heavy, keeps my skin nourished and smells divine. These past few weeks I have added in the Caudalíe Radiance Serum* in to my routine and it too has become a favourite of mine.

Primark PS Pro Oval Blending Makeup Brushes

Oval makeup brushes are taking the beauty world by storm, they have become the latest craze. The problem is the price tag that comes with it, Artis brushes start at £28 and thats for a small one and MAC retail them for £34. Personally, I can't justify the spend on them no matter how amazing they might be (unless I win the lottery, in which case, I'll take 2).

Michelle from TSNC compared a Ebay version to the Artis ones and I was planning on buying them, until I headed into Primark one day. Hidden within their makeup brushes stand I spotted these oval brushes, a complete dupe for the expensive ones.

House of Wonderland Nail Transfers

Painting my nails is a hobby of mine, I honestly love it so much. or the last few months I was getting my nails done professionally but the cost of maintaining them is ridiculous. I've gone back to my natural nails and to be honest they aren't that bad! My go to nail look is just a coat of polish and maybe some glitter if I'm feeling fancy.

But, I've stepped it up a level and moved onto using the cutest nail transfers from House of Wonderland. A store opened by Tess, a entrepreneur from Edinburgh it features some pretty, quirky jewellery, mugs, cushions and newly released nail transfers.

I was very kindly send a packet of them to try out that has a whole bunch inside, from earth and space to cute little pugs. These are also super easy to use;
> Simply paint your nails as normal
> Choose the transfers you want to apply and cut them out as close as possible (recommend getting these ready before)
> Place the transfers under water for about 5 seconds and then you should be able to peel them straight off - like a temporary tattoo!
> Apply to your chosen nail/s and make sure there are no creases before you apply a top coat to seal it off!

Falling Back in Love with Jumpsuits

Jumpsuits are literally the comfiest things to wear in the world, they are like pjs and a dress in one. Heaven in an outfit. The Sia Jumpsuit from Boutique of Molly is my new favourite one for the summer and its perfect for both the day and evening time.

That's the great thing about jumpsuits they can be worn in the day as a causal outfit with some flats or even in the evening with heels and lots of jewellery.

It's time to show your feet some love

We're in July and slowly but surely the sun is making more appearances. I love summer because of the brighter and longer days but also because its sandals weather. After boots they are my favoruite shoe option and this year I have become obsessed with wedges 😍😍😍
Wearing nice shoes however means that your feet have to be in tip top condition, so last weekend I gave them a bit of love.

Top 5 Foundations for Asian Skin Collab with Nishi V

Today's post is very exciting!! It's a collaboration with the gorgeous and very talented Nishi of NishiV! I discovered Nishi a while ago now, we stalked each others blog and then social medias - pretty sure we talk most days too. I need to meet this girl in real life!! She's a pro makeup artist, shopping enabler and amazing snapchatter.

In today's post we shall be talking about our top 5 foundations for Asian skin tone, which range from being really dark to medium dark. The problem however, is that many brands don't produce foundations for 'darker' skin tones. Bourjois for example have shades that are far too light for me, which is such a shame because their foundations seem amazing. Nishi wrote this post a while back about the problems with drugstore foundations and it screamed out to me so much because its true. Finding a foundation that is perfect for olive, Indian, Asian, yellow toned skin is really hard. We decided to compile a list of our favourites to help those of you out there, who are in the same situation. Even if you aren't, these are some great foundations to try out!

Mid-Summer Favourites

Its the summer season and slowly but surely the sun is making an appearance in the UK, wouldn't exactly call it the perfect time to write about my summer favourites - so these are my mid-summer favourites. The things I am currently loving, kind of like favourites but what I like at the moment and have been loving? Does that even make any sense.

Rush Hair York

The relationship I have with my hair is very odd, sometimes I love it and there are days where I want to cut it all off and have a Britney Spears moment. Its thick, stick straight and sometimes gets to a length that I love but hate. All sounds very complicated, sorry!

The other day I headed to York, which is such a beautiful city. If you ever get the chance to go, you must - discover the little cobble streets, the cute cafes and the lovely sites. Hidden within the market streets is the new Rush Hair Salon.  It opened just 3 weeks ago and from hearing what owner Jess had to say, business is doing really well. The salon is open Monday to Friday till 8, Saturday till 6.30 and on a Sunday till 5pm. To fit around working peoples schedules, brilliant or what?

The salon is absolutely gorgeous, all black and professional. It is also huge, you go to a fancy room in the back to get your hair washed - pretty amazing. Before the washing happened, Jess sat down with me and talked all things hair. I really loved the length of my current hair but when she looked at the layers in the back she suggested it might be better to take a little more off and then my layers will blend much better.

When! Mask Review

Sometimes you skin needs a bit of a pamper, but working all the time leaves you with little time. That is why masks are a great option as you can apply, do something else and then remove to leave yourself with glowing skin. Sheet masks seem to have taken the world by storm recently due to the convenience, already cut to fit your face and packed full of ingredients to work wonders.
When! Mask Review

I have been trying out two from When!* who create their masks using bio-cellulose technology. The sheet is very gentle on the skin and hydrating too. All the sheets are superfine and the fibers that makes them up allow it to stick to your face perfectly. Meaning that there is no wastage and the serum is locked in securely to get to your skin.

When® was born to provide SIMPLE, INTELLIGENT SKIN CARE SOLUTIONS for today’s women burdened with multiple roles and responsibilities – every time, everywhere, whenever your skin needs a ‘Mini Spa by Skin-Intelligence’ experience.

Keeping on Track with SlimFast

Let me just start by saying, that I cannot believe it is JULY! Which means it has been just over a month since I started my journey to become Summer Ready with SlimFast.  Its also been the same time since the #SlimFastLunchClub started on a Monday lunch time, which have been an amazing help. It involves other slimmers, who share their tips and meal ideas. From these chats I have learnt new recipes - eg mixing my shake with other fruit to give to give it more flavour.
SlimFast 3.2.1. Plan

When I started with Slimfast I was very scared, not even going to lie to you all. But the 3, 2, 1 Plan makes it less scary and easy to do. You pick 3 snacks a day, 2 meals, shakes or bars and 1 meal. It seems like a great deal, but I have found that meal planning on a Sunday so I know what I will be eating is a lot easier to do. Its also got me drinking a tonne more water, which I was doing anyway but the smaller meal size has made me drink even more.
