Nails Inc 'Notting Hill Gate' & 'Kensington Caviar Top Coat' ♥

Woah, it seems to be ages since I last wrote nails of the week post! I have been painting my nails weekly and always forget to blog about them, but not to worry I am about to gift you for my mistakes. Today I bring you a duo of polishes I received in my Latest In Beauty - Ultimate Summer Nails Box, I didn't end up using them in summer which is just plain silly! When I did finally get the chance to use them I am never been more impressed. Nails Inc to me is what you call 'high end' you are only able to buy them near me in big department stores and they don't come cheap either. Their polishes are from £8 onwards and the price you are paying is worth it. These aren't the full size bottles, which are much bigger but using the mini ones has made me want to add the full size bottles on to my never ending wish list.
Nails Inc 'Notting Hill Gate' & 'Kensington Caviar Top Coat'
I had to apply 2 even coats of the polish as it was very sheer the first time round, regardless it was just a easy brush to use and the formula is amazing! I waited for them to dry as long as possible to add the glossiest top coat I have ever used in my life. This top coat lives up to the hype it gets on shopping channels, it makes my nails look so glossy and shiny that they look professionally done with gels.
This photo doesn't show you just how bright the colour is, it is eye popping. Looking online for the links to this post it is actually a neon shade, who would have guessed! Pink must be the only summer colour I wear in the winter months, but who cares! It has done so good with not chipping as well.

Birchbox September Box ♥

I don't usually order these beaut boxes as I don't like committing to these boxes in-case I don't like the products and then I have just wasted my money; if you get my point! However, with that been said I found a discount code on twitter that meant I would only get this months box for only £5!! What a deal that is, so thank you to lovely twitter follower for that one! I didn't really read much into the products I would hopefully be getting in the box as I wanted it to be a surprise. And I was surprised and over the moon!

First up the body and skin care stuff! First is the molton and brown body lotion, and a body gel both of which have fragrance in them which means I have to be careful using them as I have very sensitive skin! And finally, the most exciting of them all. A mini bioderma, this must be the most raved about thing on you tube and I have always wanted to try it and now is my chance. This is a mini version but if I like it then I will be buying more of the amazing products - so lets hope the best.

No beauty box is one without a nail polish and this is the perfect deep plum colour for this time of year, this purple is amazing and I will be using it very soon. Next is a nude, pink lipstick and I love the packaging of this lipstick and having already used it the formula is amazing. Oh and  cheeky little green and blacks white chocolate sample which is eaten up and in my stomach already.

I don't know about you, but this box has one me over. I have cancelled the subscription as I want to try all the other ones, before I commit so let me know which I should try out next!

2True Be Clear 4 Foundation,Concealer + Powder Review ♥

Hello' This is the final part of the 2true reviews! Today I bring you the face products that I have received in my goodie bag/box. I have never tried anything from the face range that 2True have to offer yet alone the Be Clear 4 range that they have introduced. Each of the products also claim to do certain things to your skin so I was very excited to use and review! I tested these out for a few days before writing this and I am currently still using one of the 3 products in my everyday make-up routine.

2True Be Clear 4 Foundation,Concealer + Powder Review

First up is the foundation, this is in 'Shade 1' the lightest shade of the all the foundations they have. The products says that it
- 'controls shine'
- gives a 'matter finish'
- is a 'mineral complex'
- and is 'lightweight
I don't have really oily skin, so I didn't really see a difference in shine but it gave me a really matte finish which I wasn't used to - however I really loved it. It looked really nice on the skin and is very medium coverage. The foundation feels very lightweight, you can build up the colour yet you still feel like there isn't nothing on your face.
2True Be Clear 4 Foundation,Concealer + Powder Review

As you can see, shade 1 is very light on me! As far as I am aware there is only one shade for this product, which is a disappointment as I love the finish and formula. After blending it in on my hand I thought that the product may work on my face, which would mean that I could work with it. The product is very creamy and easy to blend in. I put it on one side of my face and it was too light; so I mixed it in with a foundation that I have that it is two dark for me and hey presto! It looked perfect!

2True Be Clear 4 Foundation,Concealer + Powder Review

Next is the concealer, again this is also in 'shade 1' this is just like any ordinary stick concealer that rolls up after taking off the lid. This concealer is also a very creamy and easy to blend. I was also afraid after using the foundation that it may be light, however I managed.
The concealer says that it -
-Conceals,
-Moisturises
- Conditions with Vitamin E
-It also contains antibacterial agents

2True Be Clear 4 Foundation,Concealer + Powder Review

To say this was shade 1, it was much more lighter than the foundation. After blending two shades of foundation on my face, and then using this concealer it covered and concealed most of my blemishes. The little spots could still be seen, it did however last all day and stay covered after being set.

2True Be Clear 4 Foundation,Concealer + Powder Review

And finally the powder, which is also shade 1 just like the rest! I have recently been on the hunt for a new pressed powder and I know think I have found it. It promises the same things as the foundation
he products says that it
- 'controls shine'
- gives a 'matter finish'
- is a 'mineral complex'
- and is 'lightweight
I wore this on a hot day when I was bound to get oily and this definitely controlled the shine and oil that surfaced on my skin. It also helped keep my skin matte all day, which I loved and have fallen in love with a matter look over dewy.

2True Be Clear 4 Foundation,Concealer + Powder Review

2True Be Clear 4 Foundation,Concealer + Powder Review

I THINK I MAY BE IN LOVE. This powder is the perfect shade for my skin and is the best match compared to the other two face products. It feels so lightweight and smooth on the skin and really completes your face. The texture is very soft and it is just perfect; this is now my everyday powder as it looks great morning and night - all day long.

2True you have impressed me so much! I will be mixing the foundation and concealer with my current uses to get that perfect shade and well the powder is a product I can't live without. All these are so budget friendly and won't hurt my purse.

The Autumn Tag ♥

The Autumn Tag

I have recently started to take part in the twitter chats that happen on a Sunday night using the tag #bbloggers, and on the first day of September everyone was talking about what things they were looking forward to about autumn and their favourite things. This got me well and truly excited about the next few months as autumn (fall in america) is my favourite time of year. During the chat, I saw that a blogger had created a Autumn Tag, my heart jumped with excitement and I just had to do complete it! The lovely Georgia from Makeup-Pixi3 created this amazing and tag and you should all follow her and check her blog out!
For Autumn, what is your...

1. Favourite thing about it? I have to really shorten down this answer, as I have a long list of things! First of all I love the weather, even though majority of people prefer being warm - i like the cold, crisp evenings where it starts to turn dark early and you get that little bit of chill at night! I also love the clothes; cardigans and jumpers are my favourite things to wear!! They feel so warm and are uber comfy that I could just live in sweaters!

2. Favourite drink? Anything cinnamon, pumpkin or vanilla spiced! It tastes so warm and yummy in my mouth and is to die for! I really want to try the drinks that Starbucks bring out at this time of year as I didn't get a chance last year!

3. Favourite scent/candle? Just like drink, I love cinnamon, pumpkin and vanilla smelling candles! Anything spicy will do for me! Yankee Candle have bought a new Salted Caramel range out and I want to get my hands on it! For perfume, I don't really change my everyday wear as I prefer wearing the sweet scents.

4. Best lipstick? Not a big lipstick lover, so around this time of year I tend to stick with the neutral colours or things that give me a natural lip tint! I do want to try a berry colour though.

5. Go to moisturiser? My Simple Moisturiser is great for the summer time as it is very light, but through the colder months .. my skin suffers! I switch to good old Nivea to tackle all that dryness!

6. Go to colours for the eyes? My favourite eye shadow combination for Autumn has to be a mix of deep purple/berry on the outer corner and then neutrals on the eyelids and crease. I also love wearing a bronze/copper coloured smokey eye.

7. Favourite music or band/singer to listen to? My music taste doesn't change! I just listen to everything on my ipod that is current!

8. Favourite outfit to wear (i.e. boots & a scarf combo)? There are so many outfits I love wearing around this time of year! My ideal one and favourite has to be leggings, a big over sized jumper with my knee high boots or ankle boots. It keeps me warm and comfy!
9. Autumn treat? (i.e. a new scarf or bag you have your eye on) I really want to splurge on some new scarf's for the winter and autumn seasons as I think they make any outfit look amazing! Also got my eye on the new Models Own Fireworks collection as that looks promising.

10. Favourite place to be? Home. There is no doubt in my mind that I love being at home, in my soft pj's with a movie on and sipping on a good old cup of hot chocolate. Nothing can beat time with the family!

Back2School Stationery Haul ♥

We are well and truly all into the swing of going back to school, and at the end of every august every year everyone goes shopping for stationery! I left mine until just recently as I wanted to know for sure what I was needed to take to sixth form, here are the little goodies I picked up on a trip!
Back2School Stationery Haul

Back2School Stationery Haul

The most important things that I needed to get were ring binders, this makes filing and organising your work so much easier to do! I bought them in different colours so that each subject can have a different file. They were also on offer so that was a bonus!
I also bough a mini Pukka Pad that comes with a planner built in, not only is this great to doodle, note things down but you can also add your timetable and important dates in the front. I also like that these pads enable you to move the dividers around and make them where you want them to go. A small jotter to note things down in one of my subjects as I don't need a folder, instead I can just use this when I really need it.
The spotty notepad is my fav,and I was really disappointed to see that they didn't have it in any other colours so instead I had to get the boring red one! Oh well.. I also bought some highlighters as I find them so helpful in my work and revision notes because it tells me the most important things I need to learn.

No7 High Shine Lipgloss - Coral Kiss ♥

A few weeks back, I got gifted this No7 goody bag from a good friend of mine and I was very excited to see what was inside! And I am loving everything I have got! No7 is a brand that I don't really buy from as they are only ever in boots and the stands always seem really busy..however I think after discovering this bag, I may be drawn towards them! I haven't really used anything from the bag apart from this lipgloss!
No7 High Shine Lipgloss - Coral Kiss

This coral lipgloss, is such a beautiful colour. It is slightly more pink that coral as I would describe it as it isn't as bright. The formula for these high shine lip glosses are amazing, they are so pigmented, glossy and most of all are super soft when on the lips. You can make it look sheer on your lips or even build up the colour if you want something a lot more bold. When I swatched it, it felt really sticky so I tried it on my lips and it wasn't sticky at all!
This is available to buy in Boots and there are also so many more shades to choose from!

Starting Off; Bronzer ♥

Starting Off; Bronzer

This weeks topic is bronzer, and I am dedicated to only one bronzer that I keep on repurchasing this on and on. This for me is the perfect bronzer, you  just get emotionally attached to the love of your life..I am currently talking nonsense! This is the Sun Tint Bronzer by Natural Collection and for me is the perfect in-between foundation. It isn't too muddy looking so you don't look like you have slapped on all this bronzer, instead it has this slight hint of shimmer that just makes you look natural, glowing and bronzed.

Application

• A large round powder brush  is best for applying bronzer fast and effectively - particularly to face and body.

• Tap the excess off so that you don't pile it all on.

• Using light circular motions  bronze the area you wish to colour. For your face, start around the hairline - including your neck - to ensure even coverage, and work your way in to the centre of your face using the colour is left on your brush. Don’t reload your brush to do the centre of your face. A graduation of tone from dark to light is the most flattering.

- Bronzer's come with different finishes – matte/semi-matte or shimmer. What you choose comes down to personal preference.

FOTD - Bronze Sorbet ♥

 Bronze Sorbet

I love doing make up, the way you can put random things on your face to make you look pretty and for you to look different just amazes me. This post is I guess a 'Face of the Day/Night' where I am going to show you what make up I am wearing that day. And this is my go to evening look - because it is so simple, glam and has that pop of pink lip colour to brighten up the evening.

Nivea Express Hydration Primer - This very light, soft feeling primer has so far made me fall in love with it. The pink lid that you can see is the little pot of primer from Nivea, and this one is designed for sensitive and dry skin and also doubles up as a moisturiser. I was never much of a primer person, but this is perfect for the night time.

The Body Shop Oil Free Balancing Foundation - This for me this the perfect full coverage foundation for the night time, it isn't too heavy on the face and gives me that coverage I need at night without looking over the top and plastered in make up. This is also great for those who like me may have sensitive, dry and oily skin.

Collection Long Lasting Perfection Concealer - You have no doubt, heard about this concealer before! So many bloggers and youtubers rave about that I just had to see what all the hype was about. Even though the foundation is full coverage, I still like to just conceal some stubborn blemishes and those under eye circles so that they are hidden.

Natural Collection Pressed Powder - I think I talk about this powder way too much! For me this is the most affordable and medium coverage powder I have ever owned. It doesn't make you look like you've over done the make up and sets your foundation and concealer into place so it lasts for a lot longer on your skin.

Natural Collection Bronzer - This is also a fairly new purchase and I am still not sure whether I love or hate it. I prefer matte bronzers and this has a very subtle hint of shimmer to it which for me can get annoying, but I have learnt to live with it. I always have to wear bronzer, because I like that glowing look.

Dior Blush - This is something I dug up when tidying up my make up, this little box contains the perfect rosy pink blush for people who don't like to wear too much or too little. The shade is amazing for when you are scared of looking too pink, yet need some colour to add to your cheeks for an extra glow.

Urban Decay Primer Potion - The only eye primer I have ever used and what got me into wearing eye make up more frequently. The formula to this tube of magic is amazing, it helps your eye shadow to sit on your eye all day and all night without creasing at all.

Urban Decay NAKED palette - Where do I even start. All the shadows in this palette are perfect for you girls that prefer neutrals to heavy smokey eyes, this palette contains so many colours that you are spoilt for choice. For the night; I love applying half baked all over the lid, blended in with smog on the outer corner and using Virgin as a highlight.

Collection Big Fake Mascara - I have the original formula of this mascara and love it for adding volume and length to my lashes.I really want to try out the newer version to see how it compares to one another.

Natural Collection Eye Liner - Time after time I have tried to get a perfect neat line on my top lid, but it just doesn't seem to be happening. So instead I just use this pencil to line by water line and my tight line so that my eyes look like they've got these thick lashes.

Revlon Lip Butter in Sorbet - You will not be hearing the end of this, I promise you. My very first lip butter purchase and it certainly won't be my last one. These things are mega pigmented and feel like heaven on your lips because they just moisturise and leave them looking amazing.

I wore this look when I went out with my best friends to celebrate our results! Here are a few pics from the night out at Pizza Express and then a cheeky trip to Starbucks!

Glitter Chat #1 ♥

I love love love blogging, but sometimes I just I don't want to post something that is beauty/fashion related and post about normal things - LIFE! It just gives me a chance to use this blog as diary, I have tried in the past to post things like this and then deleted the posts as I didn't like it! But I have now come to the conclusion that every so often I will just take a breather and write this like my journal. So, What's been going on in Parie's world then I hear you ask? Well, I have just started sixth form at a brand new school and I am really really enjoying it. The work load is totally different to what I am used to, but I guess I can manage as long as I keep my self organised and prepared all the time - that is the key. Apart from that; nothing really big and exciting has been happening!

Currently, I am reading and blogging (multi-tasking I know!) the new Company magazine with Lauren the current Britain and Ireland Next Top Model Winner. I am so glad she won, not only was the final a tough one but the top three were all amazing girls; they all deserve success in life and I hope to see them all in my magazines one day! I love Company in general however only usually buy it when there is someone I really want to read about featured in the magazine. There are some amazing pieces in this months issue, so if you want a good read I suggest buying! Also posted this on instagram which is something I will always love!

Also burning my recently purchased yankee candle tart in 'salted caramel' which just smells divine. I can't even describe to you just how perfect this smells, I start off with tarts then if I like the smell work my way up to a jar! It smells like sweet burnt sugar and salt mixed with caramel - I also smell a tiny bit of vanilla. The scent will linger too, you can smell it around the house!! After posting this, I will be painting my nails with that beautiful, bright pink colour; bright and beautiful!

Autumn Ready Skin ♥

We are in AUTUMN! I love this month, there are so many things about it that I just want to marry the season. As this season begins and we draw closer into the colder, winter months your skin really needs looking after! This is really a Teen Talk Tuesday..however my Tuesday posts for now are TheSoProject, so I thought that this can have it's own post!

Autumn Ready Skin
Source

Even though I adore the summer months, the warm weather, holidays and frequent dips in the sea..it can play serious havoc with your skin even if you have been looking after it. This is why autumn is a great time to scrub away all the damage that the summer has done to your skin and properly prep it for the colder months.! So let's begin to scrub away summer! First of all run a nice warm bath and scrub away all fake tan and dead skin that tends to pile up during the summer months. Think of yourself as getting rid of the old and getting ready for the new!

The weather in the winter months can make your skin go one of two ways: either you will have a beautiful inner glow complete with rosy cheeks and lips, or you will look grey, washed out and in need of a skincare overhaul. This is why it is so important that you switch your skincare products to those that will protect your skin against the colder elements and leave your skin looking and feeling radiant!

In the summer months make-up should look as natural as possible, however when it comes to autumn and winter it’s time to vamp things up. Think about the colours you usually associate with falling leaves during autumn and try and co-ordinate your make-up accordingly. Red, gold and brown are all great colours to experiment with, however just make sure that you pick the right shades for your skin tone otherwise you could end up looking washed out.

Starting Off; Foundation ♥

Today we will be chatting about foundation. The do's the don't and my personal favourites, thesoproject is about helping you and the basics always come from the teachings and the help guides. No clue what I am on about then check out this post here to find out more.
---
Picking a foundation can be so confusing what Colour? what formula? Now if you know your skin type that's a start! If you need to know what tone your skin is then check out my previous post here. No matter your age or even experience foundation is the hardest make up step of its all. (please note that these are my views, I am no way a professional and my best advice would also to go see a professional.

Coverage - If you know your skin type then the next step is the type of foundation coverage you want and would prefer.

Sheer Coverage- a little bit of coverage almost transparent, you will be enhancing your skin with this formula of foundation and even out your skin.

Medium Coverage- this foundation will cover most of your minor imperfections on its own, this is the most common for everyday wear.

Medium to Full Coverage- Build able coverage which means that you can apply your foundation in a medium coverage and go back and cover problem areas again making it full coverage in those areas, natural yet covered.

Full or Opaque Coverage- this is going to completely cover your skin it is the most pigmented foundation, these foundations cover heavy scarring, discolourations, are used in dramatic make up, or just the Appearance of Flawless Skin!

Finish - This is to describe how your foundation will look when it is set and applied.

Satin- Doesn't shine yet has a slight shimmer to it.

Matte- Makes your skin feel like it has powder on.

Luminous- Gives you a shiny glow.

Natural- Your skin basically appears how it is without foundation, but with it on.

Types - There a so many types of foundations that are available for you these days, it is always best to test them all before picking one you prefer.

Liquid Foundation- The most common one that people use because , it blends easily, and comes in a variety of coverages.

Powder Foundation- This gives you more coverage when you build the amount up.

Creamy Foundation- Comes in different ranges of coverage and is blend-able on all skin types.

Starting Off; Foundation

I also have three favourites, all of different coverages and types.

- Natural Collection Foundation - This is my everyday favourite  it gives me a medium amount of coverage that isn't too heavy for the day. It covers what it needs to as well as evening out my skin tone at the same time. It is also very affordable and great for sensitive skin like mine.

Starting Off; Foundation

- The Body Shop Oil Control Foundation - Do not be scared by the name, I have dry skin and this foundation works on me as well. This is more of a high coverage foundation and is perfect for an evening out or when you need that little bit more of your face covered and it hides all imperfections.
Starting Off; Foundation

- Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse - A mousse foundation is great for light coverage and high because the amount you use can be adjusted to what look you are trying to achieve. A lot like powder you are able to build and blend as you go along to great a flawless finish to your face and make it look dewy.
Starting Off; Foundation

The way you apply foundation has to be down to your preference, there are so many ways these days as to what you can use, but the finish I find is always the same.

- Sponges/ Beauty Blender - Make up sponges are the cheapest tool you can buy to blend in your foundation this and a beauty blender takes time, but you can defiantly get your foundation to be blended in nicely.

- Brushes - Whether it be foundation brushes, stippling brushes or even an expert face brush these are the most common tool to use because it speeds up time and really helps to blend in all that product to even everything out.

-Hands - Yes, this might sound disgusting but trust me if you are ever in a hurry and need to quickly apply foundation then this is your best bet. Not only is this easy and free, you will be able to make sure that the look of your face is what it is meant to look like.

If you want to see my favourite tools then you will have to check back soon!

a girl can never have too many bags ♥

We all need a bag in out possession that can be used for everything! It can be very difficult sometimes to choose the right, bag or even clutch that matches that very pretty outfit, here are a few of my favourite designer splurges that you should treat yourself to - as you all know we are so worth it!  These are a few of my favourites but you can shop more here or instore!
a girl can never have too many bags

#1 - You can't ever go wrong with a simple black clutch! This one from Vivienne  Westwood is simple, elegant and chic at the same time. No matter what you are wearing, black goes with basically everything! The added gold chain is also a bonus as you can then carry it on your shoulder as well as in the day as it doesn't look too over the top and dressy!
#2 - I believe that you should always have a printed bag hidden away in your collection, I only say this because it always comes in handy. If you are wearing the simplest outfit ever, then pairing it with a patterned clutch like this cheetah print one can really bring your style to light and show everyone how fashionable you are. Cheetah print also looks amazing with a LBD and red shoes.
#3 My must have staple item for all year round, a nude/beige coloured bag will be your best friend in the summer and winter months. You can use it to dress up and down your outfit as the colour just blends well and matches your style perfectly whether you know it or not. If you can get your hands on a big, loose bag like this one then you will not regret it! Everything can fit into this bag and the colour will compliment everything you wear and choose.
#4 Again, with the black. I can't get over the fact that black is such a simple and boring colour however looks amazing with anything. This Marc Jacbos tote bag is amazing for work, school and a trip out somewhere. It will make you look sophisticated and looks like you know what you are doing. There is so much room in these bags that you will be amazed at how much you can get in! The shape and style may take some getting used to, however it is all worth it in the end.

*In association with Harvey Nichols All opinions and choices of bags are my own.

Maybelline Baby Lips | Review ♥

Maybelline Baby Lips | Review

These lip balms must be the most anticipated UK release in the beauty world this year, if you've not heard of the Maybelline Baby Lips then I do not know where you have been hiding, They were originally released in the states and have grown such a huge following that they have finally come across the pond into our local Boots and Superdrug stores! I couldn't wait to get my claws on these things and see if they live up to the hype and all the talk. I have 5/6 balms that are available and I really wanted them all for this review, however every where I have been have been sold out of pink punch - so expect that in a separate review!
Maybelline Baby Lips | Review
In total there are six, I have only five (L-R) Cherry Kiss, Intense Care, Peach Kiss, Hydrate and Minty Fresh. As far as packaging goes I think they are very cute, they are the ideal size for you to be able to carry around and fit into the smallest of bags and they are all different coloured which makes them stand out and for me cries for me to use them as they are brightly coloured. The blue, yellow and green bottle are all clear lip balms they apply and look clear on your lips - these for me are the best if you have dry, cracked and chapped lips because there aim is to nourish them.
The orange and purple are both tinted lip balms, which means that you have a slight hint of colour on your lips when you apply them. I can't seem to get a colour out of them when they are on my lips which is a shame as I love some tinted lip balm, if I apply coats then the colour starts to slowly build up.
Maybelline Baby Lips | Review

Overall, I am deeply in love with them. I think that they are great moisturising lip balms because they contain petroleum jelly. And after using them for a good two weeks, my lips feel and look amazing which I think is a bonus. I know that there are better and different lip balms available, but for the price you are paying these are amazing. They are my lifesavers at school as I can just get them out of my bag and quickly apply them.

August Favourites ♥

It is that time again, and to be honest it doesn't feel that long ago since I wrote my July favourites and now my august favourites - this is just crazy. This month has bought me to the end of my long school holiday and September brings me a new school, a new start and a new me! Here is what I have been loving this past month just gone...

August Favourites ♥

This month I have loved these little compressed deodorant bottles that you can now buy, these smaller bottle make carrying spray around in small hang bags much easier. I even managed to squeeze it in to clutch bag. The hot weather is lovely, and I would love to have it more often - however I do prefer to stay cool and not sweaty/sticky all the time. So carrying these little bottles of wisdom around is the best.

My skin this month has been really good, I seem to have everything (break outs wise) under control and I can mainly thank, this little wonder here. This is the Witch Blemish Stick, you pop the lid off  push it up like a ice lolly and you have this gel like stick that is for blemishes. You just put this on the affected area whenever you can for a constant week or so and you see results instantly - well I did! The smell is funny, however the smell doesn't affect the product and doesn't make your skin irritate either and I have very sensitive skin.
August Favourites ♥

Summer is the best time to let your skin really breathe, I hate people who slap on layers of heavy duty make up because it is just going to melt away and leave you with nothing/ very minimal stuff on your skin. My go to product that been the Dream Matte Mousse from Maybelline, I usually only get this out in winter time..but this year summer has called for it! As it is so light and foamy you can apply one even layer on your skin and it gives you the coverage you mainly need for a sunny day.

I am no make up expert, but I do like to try and go a little crazy from time to time and this trio eye-shadow set from Collection (2000) in Silver Storm has my begging for more. With these three simple and very pigmented shades you can create that very easy smokey eye without it looking dreadful and as though you have no idea what you're doing. The shades are great on there own and with other more bold/bright colours as well - as long as you blend it all well.

This next little beauty is something I carry around now in my handbag because of the colour and the easy application. This is a  Revlon ColorBurst Lipgloss in the shade Peony. Which is by far the best nude/pinky toned with a shimmer lip gloss I have ever owned, not only because it lasts on your lips for ages! But, it also has the perfect sized brush for my awkward shaped lips that hate having a brush on them.

And the last beauty product is a nail polish - as per. This is from the summer issue of BLISS Magazine that I bought whilst being away and it has got me to fall in love with it. The colour is indescribable and looks very pretty on your nails - that you just want to stare at it constantly! This peachy/orangey coral nail polish is that perfect colour for dark/tanned/olive toned skin in the summer because it just contrasts with your skin perfectly. It does take a few coats to get the colour, and doesn't however stay on your nails for very long before it starts to chip.

The only random favourite I really do every month is my music choice, which I will still be doing..but I thought I would include some more because I like to change it up every once in a while.

Above you can see a nearly finished packet of the new Extra white chewing gum in a bubblegum flavour. This is such an amazing chewing/bubble gum! It tastes amazing when you first bite into it and it tastes just like juicy fruit or hubba bubba (childhood cravings!) and it also leaves your breathe smelling minty fresh yet it doesn't taste minty. Weird?

For anyone who doesn't know me... I love my coffee! Whether it is hot, cold or even mixed, I just love buying it from Costa and Starbucks. When we went to Scotland; I popped into good old Starbucks and saw that they had these 'Refreshers' now available. I love trying new drinks and was very interested into what this would taste like! So I went ahead and bought the 'Valencia Orange' refresher and you guys..I cannot explain how yummy it was to drink! It was quite sour but enough to bare with and it just makes you feel very wake and energetic!

My favourite song, with out a single doubt this month has been 'Best Song Ever' by One Direction. Now, I am not here to argue - I really don't care if people hate them or love them I really like there music and have a slight crush on them all! This song is so catchy and since I heard for the first time I fell in love and haven't stopped listening to it at all!

So that is my favourites for this month, hope you enjoyed :)
