2True Mascara's Review ♥

Here is the second part to the 2True reviews! Today I share with you the mascara's that came in the package, one is a standard waterproof mascara and the other is a glitter mascara. I haven't actually tried any of the mascara's from the range before, which makes this more of a honest review as I am not being biased towards whether or not I love the product.
I was looking forward to trying out both these mascara's because I have never used a glitter mascara before or a mascara for volume as I wear glasses, it can sometimes prove difficult.

First of all packaging, the glitter mascara is a very small bottle, with a lot of product inside. The WOW! mascara is your average sized mascara bottle in this electric blue colour which really makes it stand out.
2True Mascara's Review

This WOW! mascara is part of their pro range, which means that it is slightly more expensive and a much better quality. The mascara claims to 'give wow effect lashes without clumping or flaking' it is also a volume water proof mascara.  It doesn't clump together on the eye nor does it flake, however I don't think that their is a lot of volume their. It is for sure waterproof, as I water tested it and nothing ran until after a great deal of time. This would be great as a everyday mascara because you can wear it without it looking like too much is going on.

2True Mascara's Review

The brush is a decent size, but the product does collect towards the end of the brush. On the other hand, the tip of the brush is easy to use on the bottom lashes as you can really get them stubborn ones. There is a weird scent to this mascara, I can't describe it - it just smells funny.

2True Mascara's Review

Now for the second one, this is a glitter mascara. The small bottle may confuse some but there seems to be a lot of product compacted into this small area. The bottle is such a cute size, and there is a star pattern under the lid that is adorable! I didn't know what to expect for this product, as I have never had a glitter mascara before or even thought about putting glitter on my eyelashes. It seems like a great deal of glitter product comes onto the brush however you need to give it a good couple of coats before you can really see the glitter.
2True Mascara's Review

The small wand is a big  advantage as you can get into those horrible little corners that you can never apply mascara to! Again, a very funny smell to the product..I don't mean to smell it but it is just the way I go! I think this would be great to give an evening look some sparkle and glitter!

2True Mascara's Review

I didn't think that I would be that impresses with either of these products, but I am! Will be using these now in my everyday make-up routine.

2True Lipgloss & Nail Polish Review ♥

I received a few products from a 2True goody bag, and thought that you guys would like to see a review on it all. 2True is a budget brand that is available to buy online and instore at superdrug, I used to buy lip products from this brand but nothing else..so when I had all this stuff given I was beyond excited!
I will be splitting up the reviewing into three sections - Lips + Nails, Eyes and then Face products, I find it easier to review in little bits, rather than bombarding you guys with lots of information and photos. On that note lets get into today's section 'Lips + Nails.

As I said above, I have used a few lip products from the 2True range and I have always loved them. The two lip glosses  that I received are definitely two shades that I never would have picked myself; so I was very excited!

These two shade are gorgeous and look great as a combo! I love layering these two on top of one another for a glitter sparkly look. 'No 16/Plum' is a really nice deep purple colour that looks for nude on the lips than plum, which makes it nicer to wear in the day and at night. 'No6/Rose Pink' which is the number on the back, however the image on Superdrug makes it look more like a pink that a clear that I can see.Regardless, it is also a lovely sparkly colour that looks great on its own and over the top of something else.

2True Lipgloss & Nail Polish Review

As you can see the colours are really pigmented, and this isn't even on my lips! And the packaging is very cute as well and it very compact.

2True Lipgloss & Nail Polish Review

Now for nail polishes, these two are such a good match! In fact I love that everyone matches together so well. I was very interested in using these nail polishes, because I had never tried them before and know I want to try more! The first is a gorgeous big chunked glitter that looks amazing at night. And the second is from their 'Pro' range, and is a Hi shine finish - similar to the BarryM Gellys.
2True Lipgloss & Nail Polish Review

The pink polish was very thick, I didn't realise that It would be a big struggle. But for next time I know that I need to apply very thin coats to build up the colour as it is a pale/pastel colour.

2True Lipgloss & Nail Polish Review

The glitter, is amazing! The mix of little chunks and big chunks of glitter makes it a perfect go to glitter. I never like putting glitter on it owns, or even on all my nails as glitter is a pain to get off. The advantage of this glitter being in a little bottle, is that the little brush made it easier for the glitter to spread over my nail.

2True Lipgloss & Nail Polish Review

I am loving all the 2True stuff so far and can't wait to use the rest and review it! I reccomend all these products to you guys out there. And they are so budget friendly as well. WIN WIN,

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee' - Review & Swatches ♥

I love buying nail polishes, whatever chance I have I always have to buy one! Today I bring you a review of one of the BarryM Gelly's; when this range came out I was so excited and I am slowly building up a small collection! I started off with buying the Gelly in 'Blueberry' which you can read here. And then bought 'Lychee' because I was really attracted to the colour - I was worried about purchasing it, as I didn't know what it would look like on a dark skin tone ... but I love it!

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

I adore bottles that have a cute packaging as it looks great when it is on display in my stand, and this bottle is very sleek. The silver metal lid, is different to all other BarryM polishes they have which gives it this unique look. And I love the fact that they categorize their nail polishes my the bottle loo.

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

All the colours in the range are really nice and lovely for the summer colour! This is 'Lychee' my go to nude polish! I think that this is the perfect nude for that natural, no look, it looks subtle and looks great on every skin tone!
BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

As far as Application goes..I really didn't find it difficult! This is a very thick and cream nail polish which gives you that glossy finish. Now only if it is applied in thin coats, can you get that shiny and glossy finish!I applied one thin coat and waited for that to completely dry before adding the second coat as I didn't want any unevenness.  I also found that I had to really be careful with the amount of polish that I put on my brush, other wise it would all collect on my nail.
BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

Overall, I am in love with this polish! It is so glossy and lovely and a perfect warm nude tones colour. I finished it off with a glitter accent..this is The Colour Workshop in 'Silver Streak' it is a very fine glitter and I love it!

Have you got any Gelly polishes? If so what colour's would you recommend!

Essie Haul ♥

For my birthday I received some gorgeous Essie nail polishes! And I am in love with the colours that I just had to blog about them! *WARNING YOU MAY BE ABOUT TO SPEND SOME MONEY* I had to put that disclaimer in, because you will be in love after reading this post oops!

Essie Haul

I think that the Essie packaging is beyond beautiful. It just looks so professional and the clear bottle helps you to know the colour you are buying!

First up is 'Fear or Desire' which is a lovely bright orange colour. I don't usually go for bright's, but I am attracted to this colour so much! The above picture is with 2 coats, and the polish as a lovely creamy formula to it which makes it very easy to apply.

Next is 'Bikini So Teeny' a colour that I have been wanting for so long! It is a baby blue with very fine specks of glitter in, this is a very sheer polish and needs several coats to get the colour of the bottle. You also  need to be careful and make sure that you be careful as it is very streaky...I did 2 coats and still couldn't see the shimmer that I can see in the bottle; which is a disappointment.

And now my favourite of the 3, 'Off The Shoulder' a deep pink polish with again a creamy finish. For me this is the perfect all round pink, it has warm and cool tones which makes it great to wear whatever the season! Another thing I love about this is that I only needed to use one coat and it came with a glossy finish!

Are there any Essie nail polishes I should try? Leave your recommendations below!

New Look Haul ♥

Let me tell you the truth. and nothing but the truth. I did not plan for this haul! I just somehow ended up spending money and well here we are...I love the stuff New Look bring out, and this year some things really caught my eye  - I had to splurge the cash. So I apologise for a double haul but, what can I say. I LOVE SHOPPING!
New Look Haul

So here is what i bought. These gorgeous sandals and the beautiful earrings. Both of which I instantly fell in love with. I love wearing shoes like this in summer time, as they look great day and night! And of course, a girl can never have too many pairs of shoes - and earrings.

The shoes have this beautiful detailing that really caught my eye as well as the design of the shoe; they just look like something different and I adore having fancy shoes! I have also worn these twice and they are uber comfy, they aren't hard to settle into nor are they uncomfortable after a long day of walking. I like road testing shoes before giving a review.

Then these earrings. I have no words. They are beyond beautiful, very heavy though! Even though they are heavy, I love wearing them as they look stunning in the evening. I love wearing a statement item and earrings are something I have always worn.

New Look Haul

I forgot to add these to the first image, but I also bought these cute set of earrings. I love the range of different styles in this set and am in love with the two pairs on the left! They are extremely gorgeous and I will be wearing these a great deal. The only thing I don't like is the back, they are very loose in my ear so I changed them.

Rimmel Apocalips 'Celestial' Review & Swatch ♥

This is well overdue! So my apologies! Here is another Rimmel Apocalips Review! After purchasing 'Apocaliptic' and falling in love with it, I couldn't resist buying another one. You can read the review on that here I recommend these lip lacquers to anyone, and everyone!

As I have said before, and will carry on saying ... the packaging is uber cute! I love the way it looks and the product as a whole.

V

Celestial is on the other end of the spectrum to Apocaliptic, this is a nude/light pinky colour whereas the other is a deep/bright pink. That's why I bought this one, because it is more of a colour you can wear all the time and not just for a bold lip colour.

Rimmel Apocalips 'Celestial' Review & Swatch

The formula of these things are amazing, they don't feel sticky at all and glide on your lips perfectly. The brush on this one collected a lot of product which means that you only really have to apply it to the bottom lip and press together as the colour transfers perfectly!

Rimmel Apocalips 'Celestial' Review & Swatch

This also smells amazing, which is a win win!

If you haven't tried these out then I think you should! And if you have which are your favourite colour's?

Primark Haul; Bargain Buys ♥

Another Primark Haul today for you lovely lot,on this miserable day! When I go into Primark I always come out with something I didn't need..story of my life! And whenever I do get the chance to go I pay extra attention to their reduced items rail! This time round I got two items that I have fallen in love with and the price was a bonus!
Primark HaulPrimark Haul

First of this dress! Something, that caught my eye straight away, this is a lace dress with a diamond cut back that I think is great for this time of year! The fit is actually what made me buy it finally; because it is very snug yet not too on you! Which I like about dresses, I want to feel comfy at the same as showing off my figure!

Primark Haul

The back isn't that revealing either! I love the fact that this is a diamond shape cut out, as I am noticing a lot of items out there with cut backs. The lace detail is beautiful and makes you feel like a princess. You can also wear this dress day and night, which makes it easier to transform your look.

Primark Haul

Look at that! Reduced from £15 to £7! What a bargain...

Next is this blouse/top that I got a little bit before the dress, this was reduced to £5 from £10! I love the material of this, it is very light weight and loose fitting which makes it easier to dress up or even down and makes you look professional or even laid back. I really like the fact that it is much longer at the back, this is a trend I have always loved and love trying!

Primark Haul

The sleeves are cuffed with this pearl beading that makes it look super gorg and summery! The sleeves are slightly cuff which just brings it all together. The pearls are also a added bonus as it is adding a different element on such a plain blouse.

Hope you enjoyed this mini haul, more to come!

Avon Colour Trend Nail Polish Review ♥

Hey there!! My lovely grandma recently bought me some Avon Colour Trend Nail Polishes, and when I saw the colours I was amazed to see that she had picked them all out! I love the ones she has bought me and you can buy them and many more shades here.
Avon Colour Trend Nail Polish Review

First off, I am loving the packaging! These little pink boxes look so cute on my desk and they all match! The bottle is also an amazing size for storage and to carry around, I have also found that the brush for me is the perfect size for my nail bed width making the application easier and quicker.

Avon Colour Trend Nail Polish Review

This is a gorgeous deep purple colour that is perfect for that night out! Two coats of this polish gives you the colour of the bottle.

A sheer pink polish, that is perfect for either a French, on its own or even as a glitter top coat!

Avon Colour Trend Nail Polish Review

This is a lovely deep red colour that has a glossy finish to it. Again, two coats of this will make it look perfect.

The above two polishes are my favourite! They give the effect of a shiny nail foil. They do actually dry matte however applying a top coat gives you that shiny look.
Avon Colour Trend Nail Polish Review

Please ignore my fingers and the bumps and lumps around them!

My thumb is pictured with a top coat over it and 'soft violet' is the matte finish you get when the colour is applied at first.

Avon Colour Trend Nail Polish Review

I have really fallen in love with these polishes and will be definitely buying some more!
