February Favourites! ♥

I'm going to be doing 'Monthly Favourites' from now, if you're not familiar with this then it's just basically my favourite products (beauty and non-beauty) from the past month. It is going to be something I am going to be trying to stick to!

Beauty Favourites!
First thing is the blushes and a few eye shadows from the MUA palette. You can read a full review and view swatches here. I have been loving these blushes so much recently, they are really complementing my skin tone and have a nice (not too overpowering) shimmer to it. I am also loving the eye colours 'Grape' 'Chocolate' & 'Cookie' these three in my opinion are the most pigmented in the palette and look great on their own and together. Definite favourite for this month!

models own liquid liner

The next thing is my models own liquid  eye liner which I briefly talked about in My Models Own haul which you can read here. Just like I said there, I hate using liquid eye liner - I don't have a steady hand when it comes to drawing a neat line, however this eye liner is different. I don't know what it is!! It just comes on
perfectly every time and is also very easy to remove unlike many liquid liner which take forever to remove!

nyc nail polish

The next  - a nail polish! Got to got to have a nail polish in!! This one is by NYC which I think is a very under-rated brand in my opinion  They have a lovely range of nail colours and this colour has been my Favourite for this transition from winter to spring. It is a really nice deep plum/purple colour that looks amazing! I only applied 2 even thin coats to my nails - however more can be applied to build up the colour, it was very long lasting and looked fab!

This is more random! HAIR GRIPS! Oh my jelly babies, you guys.. i don't honestly know where I would be right now if I didn't have any hair grips in my world. These small things are such life savers. Trust me - my bad hair days cope with these. I have the 200 pack from pound land which have lasted me a long time and a of a really good quality!

taylor swfit wonderstruck

We are never ever ever getting back together! I love love love Taylor Swift, she is just amazing! Her style, her music, her make-up, her hair! LOVE it all! I am also loving her perfume 'Wonderstruck' the first of her two perfumes she has. This smells so fresh, sweet  and fruity at the same time that it makes me fall over, I could bathe my self in it! It also lasts for such a long time after you put it on - amazing!

Random Favourites!
My song of the month has to be .. 'What About Us' by The Saturdays! The girls are back with a new song after being in America for a while - which is being shown on their new series on E! 'Chasing The Saturdays' which I also adore. The song is just so catchy and the girls look amazing in the video.

At the moment and probably forever and ever! I will love the programme Hawaii Five-o. Now I know in the US the series is in front of us here in the UK. So please NO SPOILERS PLEASE. I love the programme and I look forward to watching it every week.

10 Beauty Products Every Woman Should Own ♥

Well hello there! I am now officially on half term for one week! Which means blogmania! I will now have so much time to blog ect. and I'm off to London on Wednesday, so loads of pics! And I shall also be uploading outfits of the week..
Today's blog comes from my winter essentials post, it is 10 products that every woman out there should own! If you carry these around, you will never have a bad day again!

1. Blush - Blush is the ultimate instant picker-upper. Whether it's  rose, apricot, raspberry, or fuchsia, gel, cream, liquid, or powder, nothing livens up the face faster than dab a fabulous flush with a pretty pop of colour swiped across the apples of your cheeks for an instance glow!

2. Concealer - If you find yourself affected by dark circles, blemishes, pimples, and redness on a regular basis, it’s high time to become a pro at masking your minor imperfections. Make concealer your beauty BFF—nothing stands a chance against this cosmetic camouflage.

3. Eye Cream - Even though wrinkles are unavoidable you can get rid of them for a while by sticking to a good preventive care regimen. Start using eye cream now to smooth over fine lines, reduce puffiness and the appearance of under-eye baggage, and brighten dull, sallow, shadowy skin.

4. Red Lipstick - My fav!  Much like your signature perfume scent, every girl needs a go-to red lipstick right by her side. It's appropriate to wear whatever the occasion  wearing it makes you appear more confident and shows that you like to be different. Whether it’s crimson, cherry, cardinal, cinnamon, or candy apple, choose a shade that flatters your specific complexion and enjoy the high-fives on your bold beauty move.

5. BB Cream - BB Cream's have only recently become extremely popular, this is because they not only give you a healthy shine but they are so good for your skin! It’s what someone would describe as a sheer foundation, moisturiser  primer, and toner all in one. That's not even the  best part?! It not only allows you to build colour but it also gives you coverage to hide even the worst of blemishes but actually treats them.  Double-duty beauty!

6. Mascara - Long, luscious lashes are equivalent to the cherry on top of your favourite dessert. And it’s OK if yours aren't naturally show stopping you can easily add a little oomph to your everyday look. Take your lashes from short  to full and fluffy in 30 seconds flat by swiping a few coats of mascara through them.

7. Dry Shampoo - The beauty world's eqivalent to sugar!  Buy yourself a little extra time between shampoos with a dry variation. The powder formula absorbs excess oil, dirt, product buildup, and odor, quickly cleansing your locks without even getting your hair wet.

8. Deep Conditier - Regardless of style, texture, and current chemical state, everyone’s hair could benefit from a little extra TLC. Take the time to treat your locks once or twice a month to an intensive, deep-conditioning session that’ll nourish, fortify, and moisturize your mane. Trust us—your newly strengthened strands will thank you for it!

9. Face Wipes - You’re too tired, you've had a long day…blah, blah, blah! Sleeping in your makeup is absolutely TERRIBLE for your skin’s health and appearance, so before you drift off into la-la land, the least you can do is quickly remove it  Here’s a quick tip: keep it out so you can see it at night!

10. Sunscreen -  No matter your age, ethnicity, complexion, or skin type—should be protecting your most precious asset from incredibly harmful UVA/UVB rays on a daily basis, whether the sun is shining or not.

Collection 2000 Smokey Eyes Review ♥

The other day I received a lovely package from Collection! I won a competition where I won a signed FanFair smokey eyes kit! I had actually had my eyes on this palette for a while, as I was wanting to try out some smokey eyes for events happening later on in the year. So here are swatches of the colours...

The palette is such a pretty, cute palette! It is great for travelling as it so small and easy to carry round - even handbag size so I can take it everywhere. The back of the palette does actually tell you how to apply the shadows but mine has signatures over it - oops. The swatches from the palette below are taken in columns the medium, dark and then light with the cream.

First of all, the medium shades are all very pigmented and have a nice shimmery base to them. The first is a silver shimmer shadow which looks amazing on the eye as a base on its own; the second is a  gold shimmer shadow which is also great as a base for the eye as well as the third which is more of a whiter colour.

The second column of shadows are much darker, the first is the darkest of them all as it is a jet black colour that gets applied in the corners and the edges. The second a brown matte colour which I LOVE on it's own all over the lid and on the outer corner. Finally the final one is a golder brown compared to the one above which is really pigmented.

These three final, lighter shades are the nicest they are creamier and great for highlighting. The first one is a white shadow that is my favourite to highlight the upper part of your brow bone! And finally the cream shade, which is specifically designed to highlight the inner corner of your eye to give your smokey eye a nice finish!

I recommend buying this palette if you are wanting to do a smokey eye look on a budget, it definitely delivers amazing result for the price you pay. I am going to be having so much fun with this palette in the future and can't wait to try it out!! p.s it so cheap!!

Models Own Review ♥

Hey everyone!!! First off all i want to say a huge, big thankyou for getting my blog to over 1000 views! I don't usually look at views ect. as i'm not really bothered - but this is AMAZING! thankyou!! Today's review is of a bunch of models own products that I picked up at the Clothes Show last year, however didn't really get to look at them properly. So I decided to take them out of the bag and use them!

First up nail polishes! I have heard a great deal of positive about the models own nail polishes! I constantly see them on my tumblr, and instagram dashboard! At the clothes show you got to pick two shades to have in your goodie bag! These are the two i picked, I don't really go for the glitter based polishes as I prefer to put glitter on as a top coat. But it was a different story with these, i fell in love with them! 'Scarlett Sparkle' looks amazing over a red polish or even two coats of it by its self look amazing too! The second 'Pinky Brown Bettle Juice' (love the name!) is a deep purple colour with glitter and looks amazing for a night out! The models own website allows you to view each polish in their collection!

The next thing is the lip products, the first is their lip gloss and the second their lip balm. The lip balm is very moisturising - it doesn't feel heavy on the lips but makes them feel soft all day! The lipgloss is a gloss that is very sticky, i personally don't mind lipglosses that are sticky as they give a nice finish to your lips and have a better pigment. These products can't seem to be found online I'm afraid :(

The next few things are eye products, however I also included the lip liner in this section as I also had the eye liner...wierd I know! The first is the pro-eyeliner, oh my golly gosh ..you guys! I hate liquid liner, as it never goes on properly for me, however I don't know what it is with this but, this just works a treat! I can hold the bottle perfectly and it draws a line in one stroke! The second is the pencil liner, which I adore, it gives such good colour where as many pencil liners don't these days! It also is such a smooth thing to apply! The lip liner is my fav! The colour is one that I would never ever have thought of buying however, I just had a different liking to this colour on me! I LOVE IT!
